meet_a tillage_n for_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o to_o leave_v only_o the_o jangle_a of_o it_o for_o only_o speak_v of_o the_o gospel_n make_v not_o man_n good_a christian_n but_o good_a talker_n except_o their_o fact_n and_o work_n agree_v with_o the_o same_o so_o than_o their_o speech_n be_v good_a because_o their_o heart_n be_v good_a and_o even_o as_o much_o talk_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n without_o practise_v the_o same_o in_o our_o live_n be_v evil_a &_o detestable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n so_o it_o be_v a_o lamentable_a thing_n to_o hear_v how_o there_o be_v many_o in_o the_o world_n that_o do_v not_o well_o digest_v the_o read_n of_o scripture_n and_o do_v commend_v and_o praise_v ignorance_n and_o say_v that_o much_o knowledge_n of_o god_n word_n be_v the_o original_n of_o all_o dissension_n schism_n and_o contention_n and_o make_v man_n haughty_a proud_a and_o presumptuous_a by_o read_v of_o the_o same_o this_o manner_n of_o say_v be_v no_o less_o than_o a_o plain_a blasphemy_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o his_o word_n and_o so_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v make_v the_o author_n of_o evil_a which_o be_v a_o most_o great_a blasphemy_n and_o as_o the_o scripture_n say_v a_o sin_n that_o shall_v not_o be_v forgive_v in_o this_o world_n neither_o in_o the_o other_o to_o come_v it_o devour_v all_o we_o be_v come_v together_o i_o say_v o_o my_o soul_n with_o this_o congregation_n assemble_v present_o to_o celebrate_v a_o sacrifice_n not_o private_o in_o one_o kind_n for_o the_o shed_v upon_o the_o cross_n for_o our_o salvation_n and_o so_o receive_v this_o the_o lord_n supper_n even_o for_o a_o token_n badge_n or_o cognizance_n of_o this_o faith_n and_o salvation_n in_o in_o truth_n to_o nourish_v and_o feed_v our_o inward_a man_n to_o immortality_n and_o life_n everlasting_a namely_o that_o as_o our_o outward_a man_n be_v nourish_v by_o let_v in_o this_o bodily_a meat_n into_o the_o stomach_n that_o be_v helthsome_a and_o sound_a to_o be_v digest_v so_o our_o inward_a man_n may_v be_v spiritual_o feed_v and_o satisfy_v by_o receive_v the_o meat_n thereof_o into_o our_o soul_n and_o hart_n sound_n and_o whole_a in_o faith_n and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v not_o need_v now_o at_o this_o present_a time_n in_o do_v these_o thing_n to_o whet_v our_o tooth_n o_o my_o soul_n but_o as_o s._n cyprian_n say_v with_o sincere_a faith_n to_o break_v and_o divide_v this_o holy_a bread_n for_o sure_o without_o faith_n which_o indeed_o be_v the_o only_a instrument_n most_o necessary_a in_o the_o right_a use_n of_o all_o these_o holy_a mystery_n it_o be_v impossible_a to_o please_v god_n herein_o neither_o can_v the_o unbeliever_n and_o faithless_a folk_n feed_v upon_o the_o lord_n precious_a body_n nor_o enjoy_v the_o eat_n and_o drink_v of_o this_o so_o high_a and_o divine_a nourishment_n of_o spiritual_a food_n yea_o to_o have_v any_o other_o eat_v than_o spiritual_o by_o faith_n only_o be_v plain_a idolatry_n it_o behove_v we_o therefore_o o_o my_o soul_n diligent_o to_o ponder_v weigh_v and_o consider_v of_o these_o thing_n that_o now_o at_o the_o last_o we_o may_v not_o only_o unfeinedlie_o and_o thorough_o try_v prove_v and_o examine_v ourselves_o our_o own_o conscience_n and_o life_n but_o also_o humble_o acknowledge_v our_o fault_n unto_o god_n hearty_o repent_v our_o former_a sinful_a life_n ask_v mercy_n of_o god_n the_o father_n for_o christ_n sake_n and_o glad_o forgive_a all_o our_o offender_n effectual_o and_o consider_v these_o earthly_a element_n and_o terrene_a creature_n which_o we_o see_v with_o our_o corporal_a eye_n and_o still_o remain_v so_o but_o especial_o and_o in_o deed_n have_v respect_n to_o the_o heavenly_a grace_n and_o benefit_n which_o our_o faith_n behold_v in_o and_o by_o they_o neither_o must_v we_o by_o any_o mean_n cleave_v to_o these_o inferior_a or_o base_a thing_n which_o lie_v here_o beneath_o and_o be_v visible_o discern_v but_o leave_v they_o altogether_o we_o must_v rather_o resemble_v and_o play_v the_o part_n of_o the_o eagle_n who_o fly_v &_o mount_v up_o thither_o where_o the_o dead_a body_n lie_v that_o be_v give_v credit_n to_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n who_o say_v the_o word_n that_o i_o speak_v be_v spirit_n and_o life_n and_o again_o remember_v that_o god_n will_v such_o as_o will_v be_v true_a worshipper_n of_o he_o to_o worship_v he_o in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n we_o must_v now_o so_o behold_v the_o bread_n and_o wine_n with_o our_o natural_a eye_n that_o we_o may_v nevertheless_o especial_o lift_v up_o the_o eye_n of_o our_o mind_n to_o heaven_n and_o look_v up_o by_o faith_n upon_o the_o holy_a body_n and_o blood_n of_o our_o
