just_a that_o the_o lord_n of_o eternal_a glory_n may_v according_a to_o the_o flesh_n as_o well_o as_o the_o spirit_n spring_n from_o a_o spiritual_a line_n of_o his_o own_o light_n of_o life_n eternal_a and_o not_o from_o a_o rational_a or_o carnal_a line_n of_o eternal_a death_n in_o chain_n of_o utter_a darkness_n which_o if_o it_o have_v power_n according_a to_o its_o curse_a desire_n it_o will_v destroy_v god_n elect_a man_n and_o angel_n heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o all_o in_o they_o and_o itself_o also_o rather_o than_o be_v subject_a to_o any_o or_o may_v not_o only_a itself_o bear_v rule_v over_o all_o but_o now_o to_o the_o matter_n in_o hand_n and_o withal_o consider_v what_o you_o read_v for_o it_o high_o concern_v you_o to_o look_v about_o you_o that_o if_o there_o shall_v be_v any_o evil_a angel_n or_o devil_n live_v in_o the_o air_n and_o a_o devil_n among_o they_o call_v beelzebub_n the_o prince_n of_o devil_n than_o i_o say_v what_o need_v any_o man_n trouble_v himself_o with_o the_o least_o fear_n of_o eternal_a death_n what_o wickedness_n soever_o be_v commit_v by_o thou_o why_o because_o if_o a_o man_n be_v tempt_v by_o any_o devil_n but_o what_o be_v in_o his_o own_o nature_n only_o that_o evil_a spirit_n be_v to_o be_v eternal_o damn_v and_o the_o man_n set_v free_a nay_o moreover_o if_o sin_n or_o evil_n issue_v not_o from_o man_n unclean_a reason_n or_o lie_a imagination_n within_o he_o be_v it_o possible_a think_v you_o that_o any_o man_n shall_v be_v torment_v as_o some_o man_n be_v with_o a_o inward_a burn_a through_o a_o secret_a fear_n of_o eternal_a suffering_n rise_v in_o they_o from_o the_o guilt_n of_o former_a evil_n commit_v against_o the_o light_n of_o their_o own_o conscience_n furthermore_o see_v all_o man_n which_o live_v after_o the_o flesh_n must_v die_v or_o perish_v and_o that_o man_n own_o lust_n be_v that_o imaginary_a devil_n from_o whence_o proceed_v all_o sin_n or_o evil_n without_o controversy_n though_o man_n or_o angel_n shall_v gainsay_v it_o there_o be_v no_o other_o evil_a spirit_n angel_n or_o devil_n but_o unmerciful_a man_n and_o woman_n only_o again_o if_o envy_n pride_n covetousness_n hypocrisy_n lust_n and_o such_o like_a be_v the_o devil_n in_o man_n then_o be_v not_o man_n and_o woman_n those_o devil_n that_o be_v under_o the_o power_n of_o those_o evil_n i_o will_v fain_o know_v from_o the_o learned_a man_n of_o this_o world_n whether_o there_o be_v any_o other_o evil_a angel_n or_o devil_n beside_o mankind_n that_o lust_n after_o woman_n or_o silver_n or_o honour_n or_o revenge_n or_o any_o kind_n of_o evil_n whatsoever_o true_o if_o those_o suppose_a wise_a man_n that_o talk_v so_o much_o of_o the_o sublilty_a of_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o air_n that_o rule_v in_o the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n can_v possible_o know_v that_o their_o own_o imaginary_a reason_n be_v that_o evil_a spirit_n or_o prince_n of_o all_o their_o airy_a dispute_n concern_v god_n angel_n devil_n heaven_n hell_n eternal_a glory_n or_o shame_n to_o come_v which_o they_o know_v not_o of_o according_a to_o truth_n then_o in_o stead_n of_o their_o rejoice_v in_o the_o approbation_n of_o many_o man_n in_o relation_n unto_o their_o natural_a gift_n their_o own_o spirit_n will_v immediate_o become_v the_o principle_n of_o all_o those_o howl_n groan_a serpent-devil_n speak_v of_o in_o holy_a writ_n even_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o elect_a man_n and_o angel_n in_o this_o mortal_a life_n again_o be_v it_o not_o against_o all_o spiritual_a or_o rational_a sense_n that_o any_o man_n angel_n or_o devil_n shall_v suffer_v eternal_a damnation_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o another_o or_o for_o another_o tempt_n he_o to_o sin_n or_o evil_n moreover_o do_v it_o stand_v to_o very_o good_a sense_n that_o yea_o that_o creature_n that_o be_v leave_v to_o himself_o to_o be_v tempt_v unto_o sin_n or_o evil_n and_o overcome_v thereby_o and_o remain_v under_o the_o power_n of_o it_o to_o their_o life_n end_v its_o requisite_a at_o the_o great_a day_n he_o shall_v suffer_v for_o his_o own_o sin_n and_o not_o for_o another_o iniquity_n wherefore_o judge_v you_o be_v it_o not_o one_o of_o the_o vain_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n for_o any_o man_n to_o think_v that_o there_o be_v any_o other_o evil_a spirit_n angel_n or_o devil_n that_o tempt_v sin_n or_o evil_n neither_o let_v he_o say_v that_o any_o evil_a spirit_n angel_n or_o devil_n in_o the_o air_n or_o earth_n or_o in_o the_o water_n or_o in_o the_o fire_n tempt_v he_o to_o commit_v any_o sin_n or_o evil_n but_o that_o airy_a watery_a fiery_a lustful_a fleshly_a devil_n dwell_v in_o his_o own_o body_n i_o say_v let_v he_o know_v that_o yea_o that_o be_v the_o prince_n of_o the_o air_n which_o through_o the_o absent_v virtue_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n beget_v those_o legion_n of_o devil_n or_o lust_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n and_o it_o be_v the_o true_a light_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n in_o all_o his_o new_a bear_a babe_n that_o crush_v the_o cockatrice_n egg_n before_o they_o become_v serpent-devil_n to_o sting_v the_o whole_a man_n with_o fear_n of_o eternal_a death_n so_o that_o understand_v what_o i_o say_v those_o devil_n which_o by_o the_o
thou_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o white_v sepulcher_n which_o indeed_o appear_v beautiful_a outward_a but_o within_o be_v full_a of_o dead_a man_n bone_n and_o of_o all_o uncleanness_n even_o so_o you_o flood_n come_v and_o destroy_v they_o all_o so_o in_o the_o day_n of_o lot_n they_o eat_v they_o drink_v etc._n etc._n but_o in_o the_o day_n that_o lot_n go_v out_o of_o sodom_n it_o rain_v down_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n from_o heaven_n and_o destroy_v they_o all_o so_o the_o day_n of_o the_o lord_n shall_v come_v as_o a_o thief_n in_o the_o night_n in_o which_o the_o heaven_n shall_v pass_v away_o with_o a_o great_a noise_n and_o the_o element_n shall_v melt_v with_o fervent_a heat_n the_o earth_n also_o and_o the_o work_n tbat_n be_v therein_o shall_v be_v burn_v up_o then_o shall_v all_o the_o seed_n of_o cain_n mourn_v tremble_v and_o shake_v when_o they_o see_v the_o son_n of_o man_n in_o the_o cloud_n of_o heaven_n with_o power_n and_o great_a glory_n yea_o at_o the_o sound_n of_o his_o come_n the_o devil_n or_o seed_n of_o cain_n will_v cry_v to_o the_o rock_n and_o mountain_n fall_v on_o we_o yea_o you_o will_v run_v into_o cave_n and_o cellar_n to_o hide_v yourselves_o from_o the_o presence_n of_o that_o glorious_a personal_a god_n who_o in_o your_o life_n time_n you_o despise_v and_o reject_v yea_o scoff_v and_o walk_v after_o your_o own_o lust_n say_v where_o be_v the_o promise_n of_o his_o come_n for_o since_o the_o father_n and_o the_o apostle_n fall_v asleep_a all_o thing_n continue_v as_o they_o be_v from_o the_o beginning_n and_o so_o you_o swear_v whore_n and_o be_v drink_v yea_o cheat_n oppress_v imprison_v and_o destroy_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n not_o in_o the_o least_o lay_v to_o heart_n that_o the_o day_n of_o christ_n jesus_n that_o glorious_a god_n be_v at_o hand_n and_o will_v come_v as_o a_o thief_n in_o the_o night_n yea_o as_o swift_a as_o lightning_n in_o the_o air_n insomuch_o that_o two_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o bed_n two_o in_o the_o field_n two_o in_o the_o mill_n or_o wheresoever_o two_o or_o more_o be_v together_o they_o shall_v not_o have_v time_n to_o separate_v themselves_o till_o the_o lord_n of_o glory_n take_v to_o himself_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n from_o the_o seed_n of_o cain_n as_o sure_o as_o the_o lord_n live_v thus_o it_o will_v be_v very_o sudden_o with_o this_o proud_a covetous_a lustful_a bloody_a world_n that_o sport_n themselves_o about_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a and_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n say_v it_o be_v already_o past_a or_o there_o will_v never_o be_v any_o such_o day_n i_o say_v before_o you_o be_v aware_a of_o it_o christ_n the_o king_n of_o glory_n will_v open_v the_o firmament_n of_o heaven_n and_o stand_v in_o the_o air_n with_o his_o mighty_a angel_n surround_v his_o person_n and_o then_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o word_n speak_v as_o he_o raise_v lazarus_n out_o of_o the_o grave_n so_o will_v he_o raise_v all_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n both_o dead_a and_o alive_a in_o the_o twinkle_n of_o a_o eye_n as_o he_o do_v elias_n yea_o in_o a_o moment_n change_v our_o mortal_a body_n to_o immortal_a like_o himself_o for_o you_o read_v in_o that_o day_n that_o lot_n depart_v out_o of_o sodom_n the_o same_o day_n it_o rain_v down_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n and_o destroy_v they_o all_o oh_o what_o a_o dreadful_a and_o sudden_a desolation_n fire_n make_v in_o a_o mortal_a world_n in_o one_o day_n so_o swift_a the_o lord_n will_v appear_v that_o he_o will_v make_v a_o quick_a dispatch_n and_o after_o all_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n that_o handful_n or_o little_a flock_n be_v safe_o arrive_v with_o he_o in_o the_o air_n than_o the_o man_n jesus_n with_o a_o flood_n of_o fire_n will_v burn_v all_o the_o beauty_n and_o glory_n of_o this_o world_n to_o ash_n or_o dry_a sand_n leave_v behind_o the_o soul_n and_o body_n of_o the_o seed_n of_o cain_n then_o live_v with_o the_o soul_n and_o body_n of_o their_o dead_a seed_n raise_v up_o burn_v together_o like_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n upon_o this_o earth_n in_o utter_a darkness_n have_v in_o brief_a by_o reason_n faith_n and_o scripture_n prove_v to_o all_o sober-minded_n man_n that_o a_o day_n of_o judgement_n will_v come_v the_o manner_n and_o nature_n of_o its_o come_n now_o i_o shall_v show_v thou_o the_o place_n where_o that_o seed_n of_o cain_n shall_v be_v torment_v that_o place_n call_v hell_n will_v be_v under_o the_o earth_n in_o the_o sea_n or_o in_o the_o bottom_n of_o it_o if_o not_o thou_o suppose_v hell_n shall_v be_v in_o the_o air_n or_o a_o place_n thou_o apprehend_v not_o therefore_o from_o my_o seed-spring_n i_o affirm_v and_o that_o thy_o own_o experience_n shall_v find_v that_o place_n of_o thy_o torment_n shall_v be_v even_o there_o where_o of_o glory_n christ_n jesus_n the_o judge_n of_o the_o quick_a and_o dead_a when_o he_o come_v to_o judgement_n all_o you_o that_o have_v be_v guilty_a in_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o prophet_n christ_n jesus_n and_o his_o disciple_n that_o have_v put_v to_o death_n imprison_v or_o any_o way_n persecute_v the_o witness_n and_o righteous_a of_o the_o lord_n that_o bless_a seed_n of_o faith_n i_o say_v where_o you_o execute_v your_o oppression_n and_o cruelty_n against_o the_o son_n of_o the_o most_o high_a god_n even_o there_o will_v the_o righteous_a judge_n execute_v his_o fury_n to_o take_v vengeance_n of_o all_o his_o bloody_a enemy_n in_o this_o world_n in_o this_o earth_n where_o thou_o commit_v thy_o wickedness_n
thou_o shall_v receive_v thy_o sad_a and_o dreadful_a portion_n and_o that_o world_n without_o end_n and_o therefore_o deceive_v not_o thyself_o with_o the_o vain_a imagination_n of_o thy_o spirit_n of_o reason_n that_o though_o it_o be_v as_o i_o affirm_v yet_o thou_o hope_v it_o do_v not_o belong_v to_o thou_o 〈◊〉_d â—…at_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o thy_o hope_n thou_o be_v neither_o satisfy_v in_o thyself_o nor_o do_v it_o appear_v to_o any_o other_o only_o thou_o hope_v with_o the_o rest_n of_o thy_o seed_n but_o have_v no_o assurance_n in_o the_o least_o and_o that_o because_o thou_o find_v within_o thou_o that_o thou_o be_v guilty_a if_o not_o of_o public_a yet_o of_o private_a filthiness_n so_o that_o mark_v what_o i_o say_v believe_v it_o whether_o thou_o will_v or_o no_o thou_o shall_v by_o woeful_a experience_n find_v that_o this_o beautiful_a world_n wherein_o now_o thou_o have_v thy_o pleasure_n shall_v at_o the_o day_n of_o christ_n next_o appearance_n be_v as_o aforesaid_a burn_v to_o ash_n or_o dry_a sand_n where_o all_o the_o seed_n of_o cain_n which_o in_o his_o qualification_n i_o have_v branch_v forth_o into_o four_o particular_n shall_v not_o need_v to_o trouble_v themselves_o about_o heaven_n and_o how_o they_o shall_v come_v to_o it_o for_o as_o sure_a as_o god_n be_v a_o crystal_n glorious_a holy_a righteous_a personal_a god_n thou_o that_o desire_v with_o balaam_n to_o die_v the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a and_o not_o to_o live_v the_o life_n of_o the_o righteous_a thou_o with_o all_o thy_o pretend_a holiness_n and_o unrighteousness_n shall_v be_v raise_v no_o high_a than_o this_o earth_n that_o now_o thou_o tread_v upon_o for_o as_o here_o thou_o have_v take_v thy_o pleasure_n so_o here_o shall_v be_v thy_o sorrow_n as_o here_o thou_o have_v be_v a_o persecutor_n of_o god_n and_o his_o people_n so_o here_o thou_o shall_v have_v the_o vengeance_n of_o god_n upon_o thou_o and_o in_o thou_o as_o here_o thou_o have_v cheat_v and_o burn_v in_o thy_o filthy_a lust_n towards_o woman_n so_o here_o shall_v those_o lustful_a action_n burn_v in_o thy_o soul_n and_o body_n for_o ever_o as_o here_o thou_o have_v swear_v and_o be_v drink_v so_o here_o thou_o shall_v have_v nothing_o to_o quench_v thy_o thirst_n but_o even_o here_o upon_o this_o earth_n where_o now_o thou_o walk_v thou_o shall_v howl_v burn_v &_o fry_v to_o all_o eternity_n when_o then_o none_o shall_v pity_v thou_o 2._o have_v show_v thou_o the_o place_n where_o the_o seed_n of_o cain_n shall_v be_v torment_v now_o i_o shall_v show_v thou_o the_o manner_n and_o nature_n of_o thy_o torment_n and_o therefore_o attend_v &_o give_v ear_n that_o after_o our_o redeemer_n have_v call_v up_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v but_o few_o in_o comparison_n of_o what_o shall_v be_v leave_v behind_o yet_o i_o say_v after_o he_o have_v take_v that_o little_a flock_n to_o himself_o then_o will_v our_o long_o look_v for_o christ_n jesus_n the_o god_n of_o glory_n immediate_o yea_o in_o a_o few_o hour_n burn_v all_o the_o riches_n beauty_n and_o bravery_n of_o this_o world_n to_o dry_a sand_n as_o aforesaid_a insomuch_o that_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v leave_v the_o least_o appearance_n of_o a_o house_n herb_n tree_n or_o plant_n for_o the_o star_n moon_n and_o sun_n that_o give_v light_a and_o motion_n to_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o move_v of_o the_o sea_n shall_v become_v nothing_o yea_o be_v put_v forth_o as_o the_o snuff_n of_o a_o candle_n and_o this_o world_n shall_v be_v as_o dark_a as_o the_o land_n of_o egypt_n be_v for_o three_o day_n for_o if_o you_o read_v exodus_fw-la 10._o 22_o 23._o you_o shall_v find_v there_o be_v a_o thick_a darkness_n in_o all_o the_o land_n of_o egypt_n three_o day_n they_o see_v not_o one_o another_o neither_o rise_v any_o from_o his_o place_n for_o three_o day_n so_o that_o after_o all_o be_v burn_v to_o ash_n and_o that_o which_o give_v life_n and_o motion_n to_o the_o earth_n and_o sea_n be_v put_v forth_o then_o shall_v the_o earth_n bring_v forth_o no_o more_o fruit_n nor_o the_o water_n run_v no_o more_o but_o become_v a_o dark_a stand_v stink_a pool_n as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o beginning_n and_o all_o the_o seed_n of_o cain_n then_o both_o dead_a and_o live_a shall_v be_v leave_v behind_o with_o body_n as_o heavy_a as_o lead_v and_o as_o black_a as_o pitch_v which_o then_o their_o body_n shall_v be_v their_o hell_n and_o their_o spirit_n or_o soul_n shall_v be_v the_o devil_n shut_v up_o close_a prisoner_n together_o for_o ever_o and_o ever_o without_o end_n and_o that_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n that_o will_v burn_v shall_v be_v those_o wicked_a thought_n word_n and_o action_n which_o in_o thy_o life_n time_n where_o now_o thou_o be_v thou_o commit_v against_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n yea_o with_o a_o great_a hand_n of_o pride_n act_v against_o they_o shall_v be_v the_o fuel_n as_o wood_n and_o coal_n be_v fuel_n to_o the_o natural_a fire_n so_o thy_o wicked_a lustful_a action_n shall_v be_v the_o only_a fuel_n that_o shall_v burn_v yea_o flame_n more_o hot_a than_o any_o natural_a fire_n in_o the_o hot_a furnace_n whatsoever_o and_o yet_o it_o shall_v give_v no_o light_n at_o all_o but_o the_o flame_n thereof_o shall_v be_v of_o a_o dirty_a scald_a burn_a envious_a nature_n which_o shall_v smoke_v and_o fry_v through_o thy_o mouth_n thy_o nostril_n thy_o eye_n thy_o fundament_n insomuch_o that_o there_o shall_v not_o from_o the_o crown_n of_o the_o head_n to_o the_o sole_a of_o thy_o foot_n stop_v thy_o ear_n thou_o may_v have_v foresee_v what_o now_o thou_o feel_v and_o not_o only_o that_o but_o thy_o remembrance_n shall_v flame_v in_o that_o thou_o do_v not_o only_o slight_a scoff_n say_v when_o thou_o be_v awake_v it_o shall_v be_v unto_o thou_o as_o no_o time_n at_o all_o for_o though_o thou_o have_v lie_v in_o the_o grave_a a_o thousand_o year_n more_o or_o less_o yet_o than_o it_o shall_v appear_v unto_o thou_o as_o though_o it_o be_v but_o the_o last_o night_n and_o as_o thou_o in_o relation_n to_o thy_o thought_n word_n and_o action_n die_v here_o so_o afresh_o they_o
