evangelical_n prophet_n that_o speak_v more_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o time_n of_o the_o gospel_n than_o any_o prophet_n vers_fw-la 7_o 8._o before_o she_o travel_v she_o bring_v forth_o before_o unto_o he_o the_o heathen_a for_o his_o inheritance_n and_o the_o uttermost_a part_n of_o the_o earth_n for_o his_o possession_n now_o though_o that_o promise_v be_v make_v to_o jesus_n christ_n yet_o great_a confluence_n of_o people_n shall_v come_v into_o jerusalem_n it_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a city_n and_o then_o in_o the_o five_o place_n where_o there_o be_v multitude_n come_v in_o will_v there_o not_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o dross_n and_o filthiness_n it_o be_v usual_a that_o a_o church_n while_o it_o have_v but_o a_o few_o it_o may_v continue_v in_o some_o purity_n but_o let_v a_o church_n have_v many_o to_o join_v with_o it_o have_v but_o any_o considerable_a number_n it_o usual_o do_v quick_o corrupt_a there_o grow_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o soil_n and_o filthiness_n where_o there_o be_v a_o number_n join_v together_o but_o now_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o glory_n of_o this_o jerusalem_n that_o though_o it_o shall_v be_v very_o great_a there_o shall_v be_v a_o mighty_a confluence_n of_o people_n yet_o it_o shall_v abide_v in_o its_o purity_n there_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o purity_n in_o the_o ordinance_n that_o they_o shall_v have_v and_o in_o the_o professor_n that_o shall_v join_v together_o and_o for_o that_o we_o have_v that_o prophecy_n in_o the_o 44._o of_o ezek._n verse_n 9_o which_o be_v a_o place_n by_o all_o divine_v understand_v it_o in_o the_o 21._o of_o revel_n where_o st._n john_n do_v prophesy_v of_o the_o new_a jerusalem_n at_o the_o last_o verse_n and_o there_o shall_v in_o no_o wise_n enter_v into_o it_o any_o thing_n it_o be_v there_o be_v abundance_n of_o hypocrite_n and_o therefore_o that_o be_v no_o argument_n against_o labour_v to_o cleanse_v the_o church_n from_o profane_a one_o to_o say_v why_o the_o best_a of_o all_o have_v those_o that_o be_v hypocrite_n though_o it_o be_v true_a yet_o when_o man_n do_v some_o way_n or_o other_o discover_v themselves_o to_o be_v hypocrite_n they_o must_v not_o be_v receive_v into_o the_o church_n but_o now_o here_o be_v the_o question_n whether_o there_o shall_v be_v any_o but_o those_o that_o shall_v give_v such_o testimony_n of_o godliness_n as_o may_v appear_v to_o the_o judgement_n of_o man_n to_o be_v so_o and_o if_o once_o they_o appear_v to_o be_v otherwise_o they_o shall_v be_v cast_v out_o of_o the_o church_n this_o must_v be_v a_o certain_a rule_n those_o that_o aught_o to_o be_v cast_v out_o if_o they_o be_v in_o they_o must_v not_o be_v receive_v in_o if_o now_o they_o be_v to_o be_v receive_v if_o no_o profane_a one_o but_o must_v be_v cast_v out_o if_o they_o be_v get_v into_o the_o church_n when_o they_o appear_v to_o be_v so_o why_o then_o certain_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v take_v in_o appear_v to_o be_v profane_a we_o be_v now_o to_o labour_v what_o we_o can_v to_o come_v as_o near_o to_o that_o glorious_a jerusalem_n as_o we_o be_v able_a we_o be_v now_o to_o labour_v to_o promote_v the_o condition_n that_o the_o church_n shall_v be_v in_o then_o but_o we_o can_v expect_v for_o to_o have_v it_o yet_o till_o the_o lord_n do_v put_v another_o spirit_n upon_o man_n than_o hitherto_o therefore_o when_o god_n vain_a it_o may_v be_v you_o will_v say_v that_o the_o prophet_n mean_v that_o state_n of_o the_o church_n triumphant_a in_o heaven_n and_o so_o the_o apostle_n st._n john_n in_o his_o reference_n to_o what_o the_o prophet_n say_v he_o seem_v to_o mean_v it_o of_o the_o glorious_a state_n of_o the_o church_n in_o heaven_n and_o i_o very_o believe_v the_o most_o of_o you_o that_o have_v read_v with_o observation_n the_o latter_a end_n of_o the_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n you_o have_v think_v it_o have_v be_v mean_v of_o the_o state_n of_o the_o church_n in_o heaven_n but_o that_o it_o earth_n nor_o from_o any_o earthly_a mean_n though_o man_n ought_v to_o do_v what_o they_o can_v yet_o it_o shall_v be_v too_o great_a a_o glory_n for_o any_o earthly_a mean_n to_o be_v able_a to_o bring_v but_o it_o shall_v come_v down_o from_o heaven_n there_o shall_v be_v some_o admirable_a glorious_a work_n of_o god_n from_o heaven_n to_o bring_v jerusalem_n into_o such_o glory_n as_o it_o shall_v be_v bring_v into_o and_o that_o be_v one_o thing_n that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o state_n of_o heaven_n for_o it_o come_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o then_o beside_o that_o that_o be_v a_o undeniable_a reason_n be_v that_o which_o you_o have_v in_o the_o 24_o and_o 26_o verse_n and_o the_o nation_n of_o they_o which_o be_v save_v shall_v walk_v in_o the_o light_n of_o it_o and_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n do_v bring_v their_o glory_n and_o honour_n into_o it_o they_o do_v not_o bring_v their_o honour_n to_o the_o state_n of_o the_o church_n triumphant_a in_o heaven_n the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n shall_v have_v no_o need_n of_o any_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n the_o mean_a poor_a servant_n or_o boy_n that_o be_v godly_a shall_v be_v more_o glorious_a than_o all_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n ever_o be_v in_o this_o world_n but_o this_o be_v such_o a_o state_n that_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n shall_v bring_v their_o glory_n to_o it_o and_o in_o the_o 26_o verse_n they_o shall_v bring_v the_o glory_n and_o honour_n of_o the_o nation_n into_o it_o the_o meaning_n be_v that_o when_o this_o time_n come_v the_o lord_n will_v make_v all_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o all_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o earth_n to_o be_v some_o way_n serviceable_a to_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o church_n that_o be_v the_o plain_a meaning_n of_o it_o that_o whereas_o now_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o nation_n do_v persecute_v the_o church_n general_o and_o as_o in_o the_o second_o psalm_n you_o have_v it_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n they_o combine_v themselves_o together_o against_o jesus_n christ_n and_o will_v none_o of_o his_o government_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o the_o lord_n say_v that_o he_o will_v set_v his_o king_n upon_o his_o holy_a hill_n and_o then_o here_o be_v the_o prophecy_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o work_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o king_n and_o nation_n of_o the_o earth_n as_o they_o shall_v all_o come_v in_o and_o bring_v their_o glory_n to_o jerusalem_n to_o the_o church_n to_o do_v the_o uttermost_a they_o can_v to_o make_v the_o church_n to_o be_v glorious_a this_o be_v in_o general_n the_o state_n of_o jerusalem_n when_o it_o shall_v be_v make_v the_o praise_n of_o the_o earth_n but_o now_o that_o i_o may_v come_v to_o move_v particular_n any_o stain_n upon_o religion_n that_o religion_n shall_v suffer_v any_o thing_n for_o thou_o now_o every_o one_o that_o make_v but_o any_o profession_n of_o religion_n o_o they_o shall_v labour_v to_o walk_v exact_o and_o humble_o and_o faithful_o and_o conscionable_o that_o they_o may_v win_v other_o and_o so_o other_o be_v win_v by_o their_o conversation_n why_o then_o the_o people_n of_o the_o land_n may_v join_v together_o and_o say_v well_o very_o it_o be_v these_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o the_o live_a god_n and_o we_o will_v join_v with_o they_o and_o set_v up_o their_o way_n for_o we_o see_v they_o to_o be_v the_o way_n of_o god_n i_o this_o be_v very_o hopeful_a that_o jerusalem_n be_v lift_v up_o indeed_o if_o so_o be_v we_o will_v convince_v man_n by_o our_o holy_a conversation_n but_o now_o when_o there_o appear_v so_o much_o folly_n and_o baseness_n of_o spirit_n in_o those_o that_o be_v professor_n why_o it_o make_v man_n hate_v religion_n more_o than_o ever_o they_o do_v and_o indeed_o but_o that_o we_o know_v god_n can_v bring_v the_o great_a good_a out_o of_o the_o great_a evil_n one_o will_v think_v that_o there_o be_v as_o great_a a_o stop_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o church_n in_o these_o time_n as_o ever_o there_o be_v but_o woe_n to_o those_o that_o be_v the_o stopper_n and_o howsoever_o some_o cry_n out_o such_o man_n stop_v it_o and_o such_o man_n stop_v it_o but_o the_o lord_n i_o hope_v will_v come_v ever_o long_o and_o will_v make_v it_o appear_v who_o hinder_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o church_n whether_o it_o be_v those_o that_o in_o the_o sincerity_n of_o their_o heart_n labour_v to_o raise_v up_o godliness_n to_o the_o strict_a form_n of_o all_o or_o those_o that_o will_v content_v themselves_o with_o a_o form_n certain_o those_o that_o give_v up_o themselves_o to_o promote_v the_o most_o strict_a way_n of_o godliness_n and_o the_o most_o pure_a ordinance_n they_o be_v not_o those_o that_o hinder_v the_o reformation_n but_o christ_n will_v own_v they_o to_o be_v those_o that_o further_a the_o glory_n of_o this_o reformation_n the_o scripture_n speak_v of_o this_o jerusalem_n say_v that_o no_o impure_a thing_n shall_v enter_v into_o it_o that_o be_v man_n shall_v be_v as_o careful_a as_o possible_o they_o can_v to_o keep_v out_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v impure_a and_o so_o to_o raise_v up_o the_o way_n of_o godliness_n to_o the_o strict_a and_o high_a rule_n that_o possible_o they_o can_v these_o be_v they_o that_o further_a the_o glory_n of_o this_o jerusalem_n the_o last_o thing_n be_v that_o we_o have_v in_o the_o text_n give_v god_n no_o rest_n till_o this_o be_v we_o may_v make_v it_o a_o several_a point_n of_o doctrine_n but_o i_o only_o bring_v it_o in_o here_o by_o way_n of_o use_n the_o truth_n be_v when_o christ_n teach_v we_o to_o pray_v thy_o kingdom_n come_v he_o have_v a_o eye_n at_o this_o for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n be_v not_o full_o come_v till_o this_o time_n be_v come_v and_o as_o in_o that_o 36._o of_o ezek._n 37._o when_o the_o lord_n have_v promise_v there_o such_o glorious_a thing_n to_o his_o people_n say_v he_o i_o will_v yet_o for_o this_o
