scripture_n revelation_n as_o many_o have_v do_v they_o have_v darken_v counsel_n without_o knowledge_n utter_v thing_n which_o they_o understand_v not_o which_o have_v no_o substance_n or_o spiritual_a food_n of_o faith_n in_o they_o howbeit_o that_o real_a view_n which_o we_o may_v have_v of_o christ_n and_o his_o glory_n in_o this_o world_n by_o faith_n however_o weak_a and_o obscure_a our_o nature_n which_o be_v debase_v as_o low_a as_o hell_n by_o apostasy_n from_o god_n be_v exalt_v above_o the_o whole_a creation_n our_o nature_n in_o the_o original_a constitution_n of_o it_o in_o the_o person_n of_o our_o first_o parent_n be_v crown_v with_o honour_n and_o dignity_n the_o image_n of_o god_n wherein_o it_o be_v make_v and_o the_o dominion_n over_o the_o low_a world_n true_a representation_n make_v of_o the_o lord_n christ_n or_o his_o glory_n in_o these_o thing_n that_o be_v confine_v absolute_o unto_o the_o gospel_n alone_o and_o this_o way_n of_o attempt_v it_o be_v propose_v unto_o it_o whereof_o in_o this_o life_n it_o have_v neither_o foretaste_n sense_n experience_n nor_o evidence_n no_o man_n ought_v to_o look_v for_o any_o thing_n in_o heaven_n but_o what_o one_o way_n or_o other_o he_o have_v some_o experience_n of_o in_o this_o life_n if_o man_n be_v full_o persuade_v hereof_o they_o will_v be_v it_o may_v be_v more_o in_o the_o exercise_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n about_o heavenly_a thing_n than_o for_o the_o most_o part_n they_o be_v at_o present_a they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o enjoy_v and_o they_o look_v for_o they_o know_v not_o what_o hence_o be_v it_o that_o man_n utter_o stranger_n unto_o all_o experience_n of_o the_o beginning_n of_o glory_n in_o themselves_o as_o a_o effect_n of_o faith_n have_v fill_v their_o divine_a worship_n with_o image_n picture_n and_o music_n to_o represent_v unto_o themselves_o somewhat_o of_o that_o glory_n which_o they_o fancy_v to_o be_v above_o for_o into_o that_o which_o be_v true_o so_o they_o have_v no_o prospect_n nor_o can_v have_v because_o they_o have_v no_o experience_n of_o its_o power_n in_o themselves_o nor_o do_v they_o taste_v of_o its_o goodness_n by_o any_o of_o world_n we_o may_v attain_v such_o bless_a conception_n of_o our_o behold_v his_o glory_n above_o by_o immediate_a vision_n as_o shall_v draw_v out_o our_o heart_n unto_o the_o admiration_n of_o it_o
