of_o god_n because_o they_o walk_v with_o he_o those_o christian_n that_o keep_v close_o to_o god_n in_o a_o holy_a conversation_n walk_v with_o he_o certain_o they_o come_v to_o know_v more_o of_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n than_o other_o do_v other_o that_o walk_v loose_o they_o know_v little_a of_o the_o great_a mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n they_o may_v talk_v something_o of_o they_o but_o certain_o they_o have_v not_o a_o spiritual_a insight_n into_o the_o great_a mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n so_o as_o those_o have_v that_o walk_n with_o god_n the_o eight_o excellency_n the_o eight_o benefit_n of_o walk_v with_o god_n it_o be_v that_o such_o find_v favour_n in_o god_n eye_n for_o grant_v their_o petition_n for_o to_o hear_v they_o in_o their_o prayer_n in_o the_o 37._o psal_n 4._o ver_fw-la delight_n thyself_o in_o the_o lord_n and_o he_o shall_v give_v thou_o the_o desire_n of_o thy_o heart_n walk_v with_o god_n and_o enjoy_v converse_n and_o communion_n with_o he_o so_o as_o to_o delight_v thyself_o with_o he_o and_o he_o will_v give_v thou_o thy_o heart_n desire_v thou_o shall_v have_v what_o thou_o will_v have_v as_o now_o if_o a_o man_n have_v a_o petition_n to_o give_v to_o any_o great_a man_n if_o he_o can_v but_o observe_v he_o in_o his_o walk_n than_o he_o think_v that_o sure_o when_o he_o may_v have_v such_o a_o opportunity_n now_o to_o present_v it_o as_o he_o hope_v to_o have_v audiance_n and_o acceptance_n of_o the_o petition_n i_o remember_v i_o have_v read_v of_o one_o that_o offer_v to_o give_v a_o great_a sum_n of_o money_n that_o he_o may_v have_v but_o liberty_n to_o whisper_v any_o thing_n in_o the_o king_n ear_n every_o day_n why_o because_o thereby_o he_o think_v that_o he_o shall_v have_v a_o great_a many_o people_n come_v to_o he_o to_o desire_v his_o help_n for_o to_o prefer_v their_o petition_n and_o if_o he_o may_v have_v but_o that_o liberty_n he_o shall_v get_v enough_o that_o way_n now_o the_o soul_n that_o have_v the_o liberty_n of_o walk_v with_o god_n what_o a_o privilege_n have_v he_o and_o what_o opportunity_n to_o present_a petition_n to_o god_n and_o the_o lord_n delight_v in_o hear_v of_o they_o if_o a_o king_n will_v admit_v a_o man_n to_o walk_v with_o he_o sure_o such_o a_o man_n whatsoever_o he_o present_v its_o like_a to_o speed_v now_o my_o brethren_n upon_o this_o ground_n it_o be_v thus_o you_o shall_v see_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o difference_n in_o a_o formal_a professor_n prayer_n &_o the_o prayer_n of_o a_o godly_a man_n that_o walk_v with_o god_n the_o difference_n in_o the_o prayer_n of_o these_o two_o be_v thus_o i_o will_v set_v it_o out_o by_o this_o similitude_n you_o have_v your_o beggar_n and_o they_o pray_v for_o a_o alm_n but_o they_o stand_v at_o the_o door_n but_o if_o you_o a_o have_v special_a friend_n a_o acquaintance_n that_o shall_v come_v to_o desire_v a_o favour_n from_o you_o the_o door_n be_v open_v for_o he_o you_o carry_v he_o into_o the_o parlour_n and_o there_o he_o open_v his_o mind_n to_o you_o he_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o privilege_n more_o than_o the_o other_o both_o come_v to_o ask_v a_o favour_n from_o you_o but_o one_o stand_v at_o the_o door_n and_o the_o other_o be_v let_v into_o the_o parlour_n and_o walk_v up_o and_o down_o there_o and_o there_o open_v his_o mind_n to_o you_o just_o for_o all_o the_o world_n be_v there_o this_o difference_n between_o the_o prayer_n of_o formal_a professor_n and_o the_o prayer_n of_o those_o that_o walk_v with_o god_n those_o that_o make_v but_o a_o mere_a profession_n of_o religion_n they_o will_v pray_v as_o other_o do_v but_o they_o be_v like_o beggar_n at_o the_o door_n they_o see_v not_o god_n face_n all_o the_o while_n they_o knock_v it_o may_v be_v but_o the_o door_n be_v not_o open_v for_o they_o to_o come_v in_o but_o a_o gracious_a heart_n that_o walk_v with_o god_n do_v not_o only_o stand_v knock_v at_o the_o door_n but_o it_o be_v open_v and_o he_o come_v into_o the_o presence_n chamber_n and_o there_o say_v god_n what_o be_v thy_o request_n o_o thou_o soul_n as_o if_o a_o friend_n shall_v hear_v another_o that_o be_v his_o dear_a friend_n stand_v knock_v at_o the_o door_n he_o present_o open_v the_o door_n and_o carry_v he_o into_o the_o best_a room_n that_o he_o have_v and_o there_o say_v tell_v i_o what_o it_o be_v that_o you_o will_v have_v i_o be_o not_o able_a to_o deny_v you_o and_o this_o be_v the_o privilege_n of_o those_o that_o be_v gracious_a and_o holy_a that_o walk_v with_o god_n they_o have_v much_o privilege_n in_o prayer_n much_o benefit_n that_o way_n and_o freedom_n with_o god_n and_o assurance_n of_o god_n grant_v of_o their_o petition_n the_o nine_o excellency_n in_o the_o nine_o place_n there_o be_v this_o excellency_n in_o the_o soul_n walk_v with_o god_n there_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o glory_n put_v upon_o the_o soul_n as_o it_o be_v with_o moses_n he_o go_v up_o and_o be_v but_o with_o god_n glory_n put_v upon_o it_o and_o such_o a_o lustre_n and_o glory_n that_o those_o that_o have_v enlighten_v conscience_n and_o yet_o be_v guilty_a they_o be_v scarce_o able_a to_o bear_v the_o fight_n of_o they_o as_o i_o appeal_v to_o you_o when_o you_o have_v give_v liberty_n to_o some_o way_n of_o sin_n and_o you_o have_v come_v into_o the_o presence_n of_o those_o that_o have_v be_v godly_a and_o walk_v very_o close_o with_o god_n have_v it_o not_o strike_v a_o terror_n to_o you_o for_o there_o be_v a_o glory_n and_o beauty_n upon_o those_o soul_n that_o do_v walk_v close_o with_o god_n they_o do_v shine_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o crooked_a and_o perverce_a generation_n what_o be_v the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n but_o the_o reflection_n of_o god_n presence_n upon_o heaven_n that_o make_v it_o so_o glorious_a and_o in_o its_o measure_n a_o gracious_a heart_n that_o walk_v close_o with_o god_n have_v the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n upon_o it_o the_o ten_o excellency_n ten_o god_n presence_n do_v mighty_o act_v every_o grace_n do_v draw_v forth_o every_o grace_n and_o that_o i_o lay_v down_o as_o another_o distinct_a head_n in_o the_o excellency_n of_o walk_v with_o god_n i_o say_v it_o draw_v forth_o every_o grace_n the_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v always_o keep_v in_o action_n as_o now_o fire_n will_v draw_v fire_n the_o lord_n be_v of_o infinite_a grace_n act_v draw_v forth_o and_o enlarge_v and_o this_o be_v the_o benefit_n of_o walk_v with_o god_n the_o eleven_o excellency_n and_o beside_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o familiarity_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o walk_v with_o he_o will_v make_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n neither_o at_o death_n or_o judgement_n shall_v ever_o be_v terrible_a to_o it_o those_o that_o now_o walk_v with_o god_n and_o have_v much_o converse_n with_o he_o i_o say_v when_o they_o come_v to_o die_v god_n presence_n shall_v not_o be_v terrible_a to_o they_o yea_o when_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v come_v in_o flame_a fire_n to_o revenge_v himself_o upon_o those_o that_o know_v he_o not_o the_o presence_n of_o christ_n shall_v not_o be_v terrible_a to_o they_o why_o because_o they_o walk_v with_o christ_n face_n may_v shine_v so_o that_o you_o may_v see_v by_o their_o conversation_n that_o certain_o they_o have_v be_v with_o god_n upon_o the_o mount_n this_o day_n now_o i_o appeal_v to_o you_o in_o this_o do_v you_o live_v so_o as_o that_o your_o family_n and_o your_o neighbour_n may_v see_v that_o you_o have_v be_v this_o morning_n in_o heaven_n every_o morning_n we_o shall_v have_v some_o converse_n with_o heaven_n which_o if_o we_o have_v our_o conversation_n will_v be_v convince_a all_o the_o day_n long_o and_o very_o profitable_a it_o will_v be_v to_o the_o world_n christian_n that_o live_v heavenly_a conversation_n they_o be_v i_o say_v of_o very_o great_a use_n in_o the_o place_n where_o they_o live_v as_o i_o remember_v it_o be_v say_v concern_v christ_n when_o he_o ascend_v up_o to_o heaven_n he_o give_v gift_n to_o man_n and_o if_o we_o can_v often_o ascend_v up_o to_o heaven_n we_o shall_v be_v more_o able_a to_o be_v beneficial_a to_o the_o world_n chap._n xv._n a_o heavenly_a conversation_n be_v grow_v a_o heavenly_a conversation_n be_v a_o grow_a conversation_n oh_o they_o grow_v mighty_o they_o do_v thrive_v in_o grace_n exceed_v much_o in_o a_o very_a little_a time_n they_o grow_v to_o attain_v to_o a_o very_a great_a measure_n of_o communion_n with_o god_n the_o father_n and_o with_o jesus_n christ_n and_o every_o day_n they_o grow_v more_o and_o more_o spiritual_a have_v so_o much_o of_o heaven_n within_o they_o it_o be_v true_a when_o they_o come_v into_o heaven_n they_o shall_v be_v perfect_a but_o now_o the_o fetch_n from_o heaven_n be_v that_o that_o make_v they_o grow_v it_o must_v be_v the_o influence_n from_o heaven_n that_o must_v cause_v the_o growth_n of_o saint_n as_o now_o suppose_v that_o the_o ground_n upon_o which_o flower_n and_o herb_n grow_v be_v never_o so_o fertile_a in_o its_o self_n and_o the_o herb_n or_o plant_n be_v never_o so_o well_o root_v in_o the_o earth_n yet_o if_o there_o be_v not_o a_o influence_n of_o heaven_n upon_o they_o they_o will_v not_o grow_v much_o nay_o not_o at_o all_o but_o quick_o wither_v so_o it_o be_v with_o christian_n let_v they_o have_v never_o so_o much_o mean_v of_o grow_v below_o never_o so_o many_o ordinance_n yet_o if_o they_o have_v not_o rich_a dew_n from_o above_o they_o will_v not_o grow_v or_o if_o there_o be_v any_o growth_n yet_o either_o they_o will_v bear_v no_o fruit_n or_o else_o it_o will_v be_v very_o shrifle_v and_o sour_a fruit_n you_o know_v that_o fruit_n that_o have_v the_o most_o of_o the_o beam_n of_o the_o sun_n that_o come_v from_o heaven_n upon_o it_o that_o fruit_n grow_v ripe_a and_o sweet_a than_o other_o fruit_n fruit_n that_o grow_v in_o the_o shade_n that_o have_v the_o influence_n of_o heaven_n keep_v off_o from_o it_o it_o be_v sour_a fruit_n and_o the_o reason_n that_o the_o saint_n have_v so_o little_a fruit_n and_o that_o it_o be_v so_o sour_a it_o be_v because_o that_o they_o have_v not_o more_o influence_n from_o heaven_n they_o do_v not_o stand_v in_o the_o open_a sun_n their_o soul_n be_v not_o present_v daily_o before_o god_n and_o have_v the_o warm_a beam_n of_o the_o sun_n of_o righteousness_n shine_v from_o heaven_n upon_o they_o but_o there_o be_v something_o between_o heaven_n and_o their_o soul_n but_o a_o conversation_n in_o heaven_n as_o it_o will_v be_v a_o convince_v conversation_n so_o it_o will_v be_v a_o grow_v conversation_n chap._n xvi_o a_o heavenly_a conversation_n bring_v much_o glory_n to_o god_n and_o then_o it_o will_v be_v a_o conversation_n glorify_v god_n much_o oh_o the_o glory_n that_o god_n will_v have_v from_o a_o conversation_n in_o heaven_n let_v your_o light_n so_o shine_v before_o man_n that_o other_o behold_v your_o good_a work_n may_v glorify_v your_o father_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n then_o indeed_o the_o image_n of_o the_o god_n of_o heaven_n be_v hold_v forth_o when_o man_n conversation_n be_v heavenly_a the_o lord_n take_v much_o delight_n to_o have_v his_o glory_n to_o be_v dispense_v abroad_o by_o his_o saint_n to_o have_v some_o reflection_n upon_o the_o world_n as_o in_o a_o glass_n though_o beam_n of_o the_o sun_n where_o they_o be_v and_o so_o your_o heavenly_a father_n shall_v come_v to_o be_v glorify_v by_o you_o let_v every_o christian_a think_v thus_o my_o conversation_n be_v thus_o and_o thus_o but_o though_o they_o have_v much_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n yet_o a_o heavenly_a conversation_n declare_v more_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n than_o all_o these_o you_o know_v what_o the_o psalm_a say_v the_o heaven_n declare_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o firmament_n show_v his_o handy_a work_n it_o may_v be_v speak_v more_o full_o of_o heavenly_a conversation_n the_o heavenly_a conversation_n of_o the_o saint_n declare_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o those_o that_o shine_v in_o the_o firmament_n of_o the_o church_n be_v star_n for_o the_o church_n be_v the_o firmament_n and_o the_o saint_n be_v there_o as_o star_n &_o they_o declare_v the_o handy_n work_n of_o god_n now_o though_o its_o true_a as_o in_o heaven_n there_o be_v one_o star_n differ_v from_o another_o star_n in_o glory_n and_o so_o in_o christian_n every_o one_o can_v attain_v to_o so_o much_o glory_n as_o another_o yet_o every_o one_o be_v a_o star_n the_o mean_a christian_n that_o live_v the_o weak_a believer_n that_o be_v yet_o shall_v be_v as_o a_o star_n in_o the_o firmament_n though_o he_o can_v shine_v so_o glorious_o as_o the_o sun_n or_o as_o other_o star_n yet_o there_o shall_v be_v never_o a_o believer_n never_o a_o godly_a man_n or_o woman_n in_o the_o church_n but_o shall_v shine_v as_o a_o star_n in_o the_o firmament_n but_o shall_v be_v as_o the_o gospel_n be_v even_o a_o mirror_n wherein_o we_o may_v behold_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n in_o who_o we_o may_v behold_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n even_o as_o it_o be_v with_o open_a face_n a_o heavenly_a conversation_n be_v a_o conversation_n glorify_v god_n chap._n xvii_o a_o heavenly_a conversation_n bring_v much_o glory_n to_o the_o sanit_n a_o heavenly_a conversation_n it_o be_v a_o conversation_n that_o will_v humiliation_n oh_o when_o he_o shall_v come_v in_o his_o glory_n how_o bless_v will_v that_o be_v and_o when_o he_o shall_v change_v our_o vile_a body_n that_o they_o may_v be_v like_a unto_o his_o glorious_a body_n oh_o this_o will_v keep_v the_o heart_n in_o expectation_n of_o christ_n for_o then_o that_o vile_a body_n of_o thou_o that_o be_v now_o a_o body_n of_o sin_n and_o death_n matter_n the_o creature_n shall_v be_v darken_v with_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n yet_o then_o the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v shine_v glorious_o before_o the_o face_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n sure_o they_o shall_v be_v more_o glorious_a than_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o sun_n for_o that_o you_o know_v will_v be_v darken_v at_o the_o come_n of_o jesus_n christ_n the_o great_a glory_n of_o the_o father_n and_o jeus_fw-la christ_n and_o the_o angel_n shall_v darken_v the_o glory_n of_o the_o sun_n moon_n and_o star_n but_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v so_o great_a as_o all_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o angel_n shall_v not_o darken_v their_o glory_n but_o it_o shall_v appear_v with_o a_o very_a great_a lustre_n now_o if_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o angel_n shall_v darken_v it_o then_o to_o what_o purpose_n be_v it_o that_o their_o body_n shall_v be_v like_a to_o the_o glorious_a body_n of_o jesus_n christ_n but_o certain_o it_o shall_v not_o darken_v their_o glory_n if_o a_o candle_n can_v be_v raise_v to_o have_v so_o much_o lustre_n and_o beauty_n as_o if_o you_o shall_v put_v it_o into_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o sun_n yet_o it_o will_v shine_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o it_o it_o will_v be_v a_o strange_a kind_n of_o light_n you_o will_v say_v it_o shall_v be_v so_o with_o the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n that_o though_o they_o be_v put_v into_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o his_o son_n yet_o their_o very_a body_n shall_v shine_v in_o beauty_n and_o lustre_n there_o now_o do_v we_o believe_v this_o and_o wait_v for_o it_o every_o day_n how_o will_v it_o change_v we_o i_o have_v a_o disease_a and_o a_o lumpish_a body_n and_o my_o body_n hinder_v i_o in_o every_o duty_n of_o worship_n and_o service_n wander_v and_o vain_a thought_n lodge_v in_o i_o now_o i_o but_o i_o will_v wait_v for_o that_o time_n when_o christ_n shall_v come_v in_o all_o his_o glory_n and_o make_v my_o body_n to_o be_v like_a unto_o his_o glorious_a body_n to_o make_v it_o to_o be_v able_a to_o look_v upon_o the_o face_n of_o god_n and_o to_o be_v able_a to_o be_v exercise_v in_o holy_a duty_n to_o all_o eternity_n without_o any_o weariness_n and_o without_o any_o intermission_n so_o shall_v the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v raise_v to_o that_o
