sin_n exceed_v sinful_a to_o they_o and_o by_o this_o true_a and_o faithful_a witness_n be_v desire_n and_o breathe_n and_o pant_n beget_v in_o their_o heart_n after_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n after_o fellowship_n and_o acquaintance_n with_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n which_o desire_n can_v be_v satisfy_v without_o the_o knowledge_n and_o enjoyment_n of_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o of_o the_o light_n of_o his_o countenance_n and_o for_o this_o cause_n many_o run_v to_o and_o fro_o and_o wander_v like_o sheep_n go_v astray_o from_o the_o true_a as_o the_o gentile_n be_v who_o have_v not_o the_o outward_a law_n yet_o in_o life_n and_o conversation_n show_v forth_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n that_o be_v write_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o if_o those_o gentile_n be_v now_o here_o they_o will_v condemn_v the_o ignorance_n of_o j._n n._n who_o say_v without_o scripture_n none_o know_v whether_o there_o be_v a_o god_n or_o what_o he_o count_v unclean_a and_o what_o holy_a for_o all_o the_o heathen_a poet_n and_o philosopher_n who_o have_v not_o the_o scripture_n general_o acknowledge_v a_o supreme_a power_n and_o be_v which_o all_o be_v to_o be_v subject_a to_o some_o call_n of_o it_o by_o one_o name_n and_o some_o another_o but_o while_o they_o acknowledge_v the_o thing_n it_o be_v sufficient_a to_o signify_v that_o if_o the_o only_o know_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n but_o know_v the_o only_a true_a god_n and_o be_v the_o acceptable_a worshipper_n of_o he_o before_o scripture_n be_v write_v and_o these_o thing_n i_o speak_v not_o in_o the_o least_o to_o undervalue_n the_o scripture_n or_o out_o of_o a_o slight_a esteem_n of_o they_o for_o they_o be_v very_o profitable_a for_o instruction_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o i_o own_v they_o and_o have_v great_a esteem_n of_o they_o yet_o if_o people_n have_v no_o more_o knowledge_n than_o what_o they_o carnal_o receive_v therefrom_o i_o may_v say_v as_o the_o apostle_n say_v that_o what_o they_o know_v they_o know_v natural_o as_o bruit_v beast_n and_o indeed_o know_v nothing_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o know_v and_o those_o that_o he_o thus_o speak_v to_o they_o i_o may_v leave_v to_o the_o reader_n to_o judge_v and_o how_o it_o leave_v man_n to_o walk_v by_o fancy_n or_o imagination_n while_n j._n n._n himself_o say_v that_o the_o bless_a spirit_n grace_n which_o bring_v salvation_n and_o which_o have_v appear_v unto_o all_o man_n by_o this_o i_o say_v he_o teach_v they_o that_o deny_v ungodliness_n and_o worldly_a lust_n they_o shall_v live_v sober_o and_o righteous_o and_o godly_a in_o this_o present_a evil_a world_n mark_n the_o grace_n which_o teach_v this_o and_o which_o bring_v salvation_n have_v appear_v unto_o all_o man_n so_o that_o which_o bring_v salvation_n be_v nigh_o unto_o you_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n which_o have_v appear_v unto_o you_o so_o every_o one_o mind_n that_o and_o none_o turn_v it_o into_o wantonness_n nor_o into_o laciviousness_n but_o every_o one_o give_v up_o to_o be_v teach_v by_o it_o that_o the_o precept_n of_o god_n you_o may_v come_v to_o know_v and_o walk_v in_o they_o and_o so_o here_o be_v the_o great_a salvation_n of_o god_n god_n covenant_n of_o light_n which_o light_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o world_n i_o have_v give_v thou_o say_v he_o a_o covenant_n of_o light_n to_o lighten_v the_o gentile_n that_o thou_o may_v be_v my_o salvation_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o earth_n mark_v god_n covenant_n of_o light_n for_o salvation_n which_o light_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n in_o which_o light_n the_o nation_n of_o they_o that_o be_v save_v must_v walk_v and_o say_v god_n who_o be_v light_n i_o the_o lord_n search_v the_o heart_n and_o try_v the_o reins_o look_v unto_o i_o and_o be_v save_v all_o you_o end_v of_o the_o earth_n mark_v again_o unto_o he_o that_o search_v the_o heart_n and_o tri_v the_o reins_o all_o the_o end_n of_o the_o earth_n must_v look_v for_o salvation_n so_o that_o it_o come_v not_o from_o the_o mountain_n nor_o from_o the_o hill_n but_o salvation_n be_v of_o the_o lord_n and_o god_n be_v light_a and_o in_o he_o be_v no_o darkness_n at_o all_o and_o that_o be_v the_o father_n of_o light_n and_o be_v in_o the_o son_n and_o the_o son_n in_o he_o and_o the_o father_n and_o son_n be_v one_o who_o light_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n wherefore_o dwell_v in_o the_o light_n and_o walk_v in_o the_o light_n that_o you_o may_v be_v child_n of_o the_o light_n for_o the_o earth_n shall_v be_v cover_v with_o darkness_n and_o gross_a darkness_n shall_v be_v over_o the_o people_n but_o the_o lord_n shall_v become_v the_o light_n of_o his_o israel_n and_o his_o god_n his_o glory_n wherefore_o come_v out_o of_o the_o gross_a darkness_n with_o which_o the_o earth_n be_v cover_v and_o walk_v in_o the_o everlasting_a light_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n wherewith_o you_o be_v enlighten_v and_o walk_v no_o long_o in_o the_o dark_a path_n of_o ignorance_n neither_o follow_v the_o blind-guides_a of_o the_o world_n any_o more_o who_o have_v feed_v you_o with_o their_o own_o airy_a imagination_n and_o conception_n and_o brain-study_n and_o have_v speak_v unto_o you_o a_o divination_n of_o their_o own_o brain_n &_o not_o from_o the_o mouth_n
