goliath_n arm_v complete_o with_o a_o helmet_n brigandine_n and_o boot_n of_o brass_n a_o spear_n like_o a_o weaver_n beam_n and_o a_o sword_n do_v these_o thing_n save_o he_o trust_v in_o none_o of_o these_o outward_a mean_n trust_v in_o the_o lord_n he_o be_v a_o strong_a rock_n a_o fortress_n and_o defence_n in_o who_o and_o in_o or_o by_o no_o other_o mean_n can_v thou_o be_v safe_a it_o be_v he_o that_o break_v the_o horn_n child_n namely_o weaken_v the_o power_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o strengthen_v the_o godly_a he_o will_v guide_v thou_o by_o his_o counsel_n he_o will_v protect_v thou_o by_o his_o power_n and_o provide_v for_o thou_o in_o his_o providence_n and_o in_o the_o end_n receive_v thou_o to_o glory_n out_o of_o the_o reach_n of_o all_o thy_o enemy_n brooke_n thou_o therefore_o with_o godly_a patience_n glory_n all_o reproach_n disgrace_n and_o slander_n it_o be_v but_o a_o little_a while_n and_o a_o light_a burden_n to_o bear_v and_o in_o the_o end_n thou_o device_n and_o turn_v their_o policy_n and_o practice_n they_o intend_v against_o i_o either_o to_o nothing_o or_o against_o themselves_o if_o they_o wilful_o and_o malicious_o persevere_v let_v they_o fall_v into_o the_o danger_n they_o wish_v to_o i_o thou_o know_v their_o former_a flattery_n and_o dissimulation_n and_o how_o they_o false_o pretend_v friendship_n only_o as_o it_o now_o appear_v to_o supplant_v i_o and_o to_o confonud_a i_o if_o thou_o permit_v they_o lord_n who_o can_v avoid_v the_o oily_a word_n of_o a_o false_a heart_n but_o shall_v be_v seduce_v by_o they_o unless_o thou_o that_o know_v the_o inward_a thought_n discover_v their_o deceit_n lord_n make_v i_o to_o know_v the_o secret_a intention_n of_o all_o those_o that_o flatter_v i_o to_o do_v i_o hurt_v we_o in_o obedience_n trouble_n and_o it_o be_v he_o that_o work_v patience_n to_o bear_v they_o and_o nothing_o hinder_v inward_a comfort_n in_o outward_a cross_n but_o murmur_v grudge_a and_o impatience_n in_o they_o affliction_n indeed_o though_o they_o do_v proceed_v of_o god_n favour_n seem_v nothing_o pleasant_a to_o the_o fleshly_a mind_n yet_o as_o st._n paul_n say_v they_o bring_v in_o the_o end_n 11_o the_o quiet_a and_o comfortable_a fruit_n of_o righteousness_n to_o they_o that_o be_v exercise_v with_o patience_n to_o bear_v they_o they_o bring_v through_o faith_n eternal_a to_o make_v we_o in_o some_o measure_n like_o he_o by_o suffer_v with_o he_o and_o for_o his_o sake_n and_o when_o we_o have_v suffer_v as_o much_o as_o the_o malice_n of_o satan_n or_o his_o absolute_a wisdom_n and_o that_o neither_o satan_n nor_o the_o malice_n of_o man_n have_v any_o further_a share_n in_o inflict_v they_o upon_o we_o than_o they_o be_v limit_v in_o his_o providence_n our_o good_a name_n imprisonment_n banishment_n &_o which_o be_v the_o most_o heavy_a yet_o most_o comfortable_a persecution_n for_o the_o constant_a acknowledgement_n and_o profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n ungodly_a child_n not_o the_o least_o cross_n and_o household_n disquietness_n between_o man_n and_o wise_a the_o most_o ungodly_a many_o other_o branch_n be_v dependent_a on_o every_o of_o these_o but_o what_o and_o of_o what_o nature_n or_o kind_n soever_o they_o be_v they_o be_v all_o determine_v by_o god_n so_o to_o befall_v we_o as_o he_o have_v limit_v and_o none_o of_o they_o but_o have_v befall_v god_n dear_a child_n and_o therefore_o let_v no_o man_n attribute_v whatsoever_o befall_v he_o to_o fortune_n chance_n or_o ill-lucke_n common_a ungodly_a phrase_n use_v not_o by_o the_o ignorant_a only_o but_o too_o often_o by_o such_o as_o stand_v much_o upon_o their_o divine_a knowledge_n 1._o a_o hair_n fall_v not_o from_o our_o head_n by_o chance_n but_o by_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n and_o shall_v we_o ascribe_v matter_n of_o far_o more_o yea_o of_o great_a moment_n unto_o a_o cause_n that_o be_v not_o for_o there_o be_v neither_o fortune_n therefore_o ought_v all_o man_n to_o reverence_v he_o and_o to_o suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v guide_v and_o govern_v by_o he_o and_o not_o only_o not_o to_o murmur_v and_o grudge_n at_o his_o correction_n but_o to_o embrace_v with_o a_o humble_a heart_n and_o patient_a mind_n us._n whatsoever_o he_o in_o his_o wisdom_n shall_v think_v sit_v to_o be_v lay_v upon_o they_o use_v no_o forth_o without_o he_o neither_o shall_v we_o that_o be_v afflict_v by_o he_o seek_v to_o be_v ease_v but_o by_o he_o affliction_n in_o itself_o and_o of_o it_o own_o nature_n be_v indeed_o a_o heavy_a burden_n even_o to_o a_o mind_n well_o qualify_v as_o it_o be_v the_o punishment_n of_o sin_n but_o as_o god_n change_v the_o nature_n of_o it_o in_o make_v it_o the_o medicine_n to_o cure_v the_o sin_n of_o his_o child_n sin_n they_o become_v light_n who_o cross_n and_o correction_n he_o sanctify_v by_o his_o grace_n and_o make_v those_o bitter_a water_n sweet_a so_o that_o through_o faithful_a patience_n his_o dear_a child_n can_v with_o comfort_n digest_v they_o but_o contrary_o they_o bring_v forth_o in_o the_o wicked_a the_o poisonous_a fruit_n of_o impatience_n murmur_a grudge_a and_o many_o time_n very_a blasphemy_n wicked_a in_o so_o much_o as_o to_o they_o even_o good_a thing_n become_v evil_a and_o they_o become_v worse_o by_o that_o whereby_o the_o child_n of_o god_n be_v make_v better_o and_o therefore_o say_v god_n unto_o the_o wicked_a that_o through_o punishment_n will_v not_o amend_v wherefore_o shall_v you_o be_v smite_v any_o more_o for_o you_o fall_v chirurgeon_n to_o lay_v mollify_a and_o heal_a plaster_n of_o love_n upon_o their_o wound_n he_o work_v inward_a assurance_n of_o the_o free_a pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n in_o their_o conscience_n mortal_a danger_n but_o thou_o have_v preserve_v i_o i_o have_v be_v in_o want_n but_o thou_o have_v relieve_v i_o i_o have_v have_v many_o domestical_a cross_n but_o thou_o have_v give_v i_o patience_n to_o bear_v they_o and_o although_o i_o be_v not_o yet_o free_a from_o some_o of_o they_o yet_o will_v i_o not_o fear_v or_o faint_v now_o by_o thy_o grace_n have_v have_v so_o many_o upon_o such_o as_o have_v neither_o feel_n of_o their_o sin_n nor_o be_v sensible_a of_o thy_o punishment_n i_o confess_v my_o sin_n i_o feel_v thy_o correct_a hand_n gentle_o lay_v upon_o i_o and_o i_o find_v gracious_a father_n that_o though_o thou_o be_v displease_v for_o my_o sin_n yet_o be_v thou_o not_o so_o severe_a in_o thy_o chastisement_n as_o i_o just_o deserve_v thou_o proportione_v my_o correction_n according_a to_o thy_o own_o gift_n of_o faith_n and_o patience_n which_o thou_o fatherly_a do_v furnish_v i_o withal_o so_o that_o i_o be_o in_o some_o measure_n able_a to_o bear_v they_o or_o thou_o give_v i_o faith_n and_o patience_n according_a to_o the_o weight_n of_o thy_o correction_n otherwise_o it_o be_v not_o in_o my_o power_n to_o bear_v the_o least_o of_o thy_o chastisement_n but_o with_o much_o impatience_n murmur_a and_o grudge_v
