thy_o be_v what_o great_a iniquity_n can_v be_v devise_v then_o to_o offend_v he_o who_n have_v travail_v for_o thy_o sake_n so_o many_o way_n fast_v so_o many_a and_o so_o long_a fast_n shed_v so_o many_o tear_n make_v so_o many_o prayier_n suffer_v so_o many_o injury_n take_v so_o great_a pain_n sustain_v so_o many_o dishonour_n so_o many_o in_o famy_n so_o many_o yea_o and_o so_o great_a torment_n for_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a that_o all_o these_o he_o suffer_v for_o thy_o sin_n as_o well_o to_o satisfy_v for_o they_o as_o to_o make_v thou_o understand_v the_o hatred_n he_o bear_v against_o they_o since_o he_o take_v such_o pain_n to_o destroy_v they_o consider_v therefore_o whether_o thou_o have_v not_o good_a cause_n to_o be_v sorry_a and_o to_o resolve_v thyself_o whole_o into_o tear_n of_o confession_n and_o what_o we_o ought_v to_o observe_v in_o the_o same_o chap._n iii_o have_v treat_v of_o the_o first_o part_n of_o penance_n which_o be_v contrition_n for_o our_o sin_n let_v we_o now_o speak_v of_o the_o second_o which_o be_v confession_n wherein_o a_o man_n ought_v to_o observe_v these_o thing_n that_o follow_v the_o first_o be_v that_o he_o take_v some_o time_n before_o to_o examine_v his_o conscience_n and_o to_o call_v to_o mind_v all_o his_o deadly_a sin_n pass_v especial_o if_o he_o have_v discontinue_v any_o long_a time_n from_o confession_n in_o which_o examination_n he_o ought_v to_o attend_v with_o great_a diligence_n and_o care_n as_o in_o a_o matter_n of_o most_o great_a importance_n this_o examination_n be_v so_o necessary_a that_o when_o it_o want_v in_o case_n the_o ghostly_a father_n supply_v not_o this_o want_n the_o confession_n be_v of_o no_o effect_n even_o as_o that_o confession_n shall_v be_v wherein_o the_o sinner_n do_v willing_o leave_v out_o of_o his_o confession_n some_o deadly_a sin_n unconfess_v and_o so_o be_v bind_v toe_n make_v his_o confession_n again_o therefore_o to_o avoid_v this_o inconuemence_n a_o time_n to_o have_v compassion_n of_o the_o pain_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n for_o that_o they_o be_v the_o great_a that_o ever_o be_v suffer_v in_o this_o world_n as_o well_o for_o the_o tenderness_n of_o his_o complexion_n as_o for_o the_o greatness_n of_o his_o charity_n and_o also_o for_o that_o he_o suffer_v without_o any_o manner_n of_o consolation_n as_o in_o a_o other_o place_n be_v declare_v some_o other_o time_n we_o must_v procure_v to_o draw_v out_o of_o this_o holy_a passion_n motive_n of_o sorrow_n for_o our_o sin_n consider_v that_o they_o be_v the_o very_a cause_n why_o our_o saviour_n suffer_v such_o &_o so_o grievous_a pain_n as_o in_o deed_n he_o suffer_v some_o other_o time_n we_o must_v take_v from_o hence_o motive_n of_o love_n and_o thanksgiving_n
