of_o god_n as_o we_o may_v have_v cause_n to_o distr_v our_o condition_n if_o it_o be_v approve_v of_o the_o world_n so_o have_v we_o a_o find_v evidence_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o grace_n that_o the_o world_n hate_v we_o not_o for_o our_o evil_n as_o they_o pretend_v for_o they_o can_v let_v we_o alone_o if_o our_o way_n do_v not_o shame_n and_o confound_v they_o but_o for_o the_o image_n of_o our_o god_n renew_v in_o us._n and_o shall_v not_o the_o hater_n of_o god_n be_v find_v liar_n shall_v they_o not_o wish_v to_o die_v the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a do_v they_o not_o imitate_v which_o indeed_o be_v true_a humility_n shall_v we_o now_o take_v a_o further_a scantling_n what_o this_o spiritual_a pride_n may_v be_v sure_o i_o take_v it_o it_o consist_v in_o these_o thing_n first_o in_o presume_v above_o that_o be_v meet_v in_o matter_n of_o knowledge_n and_o that_o when_o we_o pry_v into_o those_o hide_a mystery_n which_o either_o be_v fit_a to_o be_v know_v of_o or_o be_v apparent_a only_o to_o the_o divine_a nature_n second_o when_o we_o vanish_v in_o idle_a and_o curious_a speculation_n tend_v only_o to_o sense_n and_o singularity_n and_o not_o to_o edification_n 1_o tim._n 4._o three_o when_o we_o affect_v knowledge_n for_o complement_n or_o ornament_n and_o not_o for_o reformation_n of_o life_n second_o spiritual_a pride_n be_v see_v in_o matter_n of_o action_n and_o that_o either_o in_o respect_n of_o ourselves_o or_o other_o in_o regard_n of_o ourselves_o we_o may_v be_v overtake_v with_o spiritual_a pride_n 1._o if_o we_o stand_v more_o upon_o public_a devotion_n then_o private_a humiliation_n 2._o if_o we_o rest_v more_o in_o the_o form_n then_o in_o the_o power_n of_o religion_n 3._o if_o we_o rest_v in_o ourselves_o for_o well_o do_v and_o not_o on_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n 4._o if_o we_o challenge_v merit_n for_o our_o work_n and_o not_o rely_v on_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n 5._o if_o we_o arrogate_v more_o unto_o ourselves_o then_o either_o be_v truth_n or_o convenient_a 6._o if_o imagine_v that_o we_o may_v be_v present_a in_o this_o life_n and_o have_v a_o overplus_n of_o righteousness_n for_o other_o and_o
