indeed_o spiritual_a comfort_n be_v never_o out_o of_o season_n because_o we_o be_v now_o in_o the_o house_n of_o our_o pilgrimage_n and_o our_o chief_a good_a be_v at_o a_o distance_n from_o we_o and_o because_o of_o the_o labour_n and_o difficulty_n of_o the_o spiritual_a life_n therefore_o it_o be_v say_v act_v 9.31_o when_o the_o church_n have_v rest_n thâ—y_v walk_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n but_o the_o great_a need_n of_o comfort_n be_v in_o our_o affliction_n therefore_o here_o i_o shall_v show_v three_o thing_n 1._o that_o god_n can_v give_v his_o people_n comfort_n in_o the_o great_a tribulation_n his_o favour_n be_v enough_o to_o support_v they_o against_o the_o frown_n of_o all_o the_o world_n isa._n 51.12_o ay_o even_o i_o be_o he_o that_o comfort_v thou_o who_o be_v thou_o that_o thou_o shall_v be_v afraid_a of_o man_n that_o shall_v die_v and_o the_o son_n of_o man_n that_o shall_v be_v make_v as_o the_o grass_n as_o long_o as_o we_o have_v the_o almighty_a and_o immortal_a god_n to_o stand_v by_o we_o and_o tâ—e_v promise_n of_o eternal_a life_n it_o will_v counterbalance_v all_o our_o trouble_n rom._n 5.2_o ease_n and_o rest_n against_o a_o little_a present_a pain_n there_o be_v enough_o to_o outweigh_v all_o that_o we_o can_v suffer_v for_o and_o from_o god_n so_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n isa._n 40.1_o 2._o comfort_v you_o comfort_v you_o my_o people_n say_v my_o god_n why_o because_o her_o iniquity_n be_v pardon_v matth._n 9.2_o be_v of_o good_a cheer_n thy_o sin_n be_v forgive_v thou_o here_o be_v sound_a comfort_n the_o sting_n of_o all_o our_o trouble_n be_v take_v away_o well_o then_o this_o the_o people_n of_o god_n have_v to_o support_v they_o in_o all_o their_o tribulation_n they_o can_v set_v god_n against_o the_o creature_n heaven_n against_o earth_n pardon_v of_o sin_n against_o all_o the_o bitterness_n they_o meet_v with_o in_o the_o world_n 2._o that_o there_o be_v a_o special_a allowance_n of_o comfort_n for_o god_n child_n in_o their_o affliction_n the_o lord_n be_v more_o tender_a of_o his_o people_n then_o when_o they_o want_v comfort_n than_o at_o another_o time_n they_o have_v a_o more_o plentiful_a measure_n of_o the_o support_a operation_n of_o his_o spirit_n then_o as_o 1_o pet._n 4.14_o if_o you_o be_v reproach_v for_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n happy_a be_v you_o for_o the_o spirit_n of_o glory_n and_o of_o god_n rest_v upon_o you_o as_o the_o mother_n keep_v most_o with_o the_o sick_a child_n so_o god_n look_v to_o the_o afflict_a this_o be_v the_o difference_n between_o god_n and_o the_o world_n the_o world_n ever_o run_v most_o after_o those_o that_o be_v prosperous_a and_o flourish_v and_o rejoice_v as_o river_n into_o the_o sea_n where_o there_o be_v water_n enough_o but_o forsake_v
