for_o our_o good_a and_o so_o we_o shall_v be_v the_o better_o persuade_v that_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o same_o unchangeable_a goodness_n of_o his_o have_v purpose_v even_o by_o the_o cross_n and_o all_o manner_n of_o affliction_n to_o do_v we_o good_a how_o many_o thing_n so_o ever_o may_v seem_v to_o ourselves_o or_o to_o other_o to_o be_v against_o it_o that_o he_o will_v verify_v this_o promise_n unto_o we_o and_o we_o shall_v find_v it_o to_o be_v true_a as_o well_o as_o other_o that_o all_o thing_n shall_v work_v for_o the_o best_a to_o those_o that_o love_n god_n even_o those_o that_o be_v call_v of_o his_o purpose_n 8.29_o rom._n 8.29_o in_o the_o next_o verse_n when_o he_o add_v for_o those_o who_o he_o know_v before_o he_o also_o predestinate_a to_o be_v like_a to_o the_o have_v please_v the_o lord_n 2.10_o heb._n 2.10_o as_o the_o apostle_n say_v to_o consecrate_v the_o price_n of_o our_o salvation_n through_o affliction_n and_o he_o come_v unto_o glory_n no_o other_o way_n then_o this_o we_o must_v think_v it_o good_a for_o we_o to_o go_v the_o same_o way_n that_o we_o may_v be_v like_a unto_o he_o and_o so_o by_o our_o practice_n show_v that_o we_o acknowledge_v he_o to_o be_v the_o prince_n of_o our_o salvation_n and_o our_o elder_a brother_n therefore_o as_o he_o be_v the_o most_o chief_a and_o principal_n in_o the_o commonwealth_n or_o in_o the_o church_n or_o in_o a_o private_a family_n or_o in_o any_o place_n else_o who_o all_o the_o rest_n desire_v to_o be_v like_a unto_o so_o when_o we_o be_v content_v to_o be_v like_a unto_o christ_n in_o any_o thing_n even_o in_o the_o cross_n then_o shall_v we_o declare_v indeed_o that_o we_o hold_v he_o not_o in_o word_n only_o but_o in_o true_a faith_n &_o hearty_a affection_n to_o be_v chief_a and_o principal_n above_o all_o other_o and_o as_o be_v say_v before_o to_o be_v the_o prince_n of_o our_o salvation_n or_o as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o this_o text_n that_o we_o have_v in_o hand_n 8.29_o rom._n 8.29_o the_o first_o beget_v among_o many_o brethren_n for_o indeed_o howsoever_o there_o be_v great_a difference_n between_o the_o head_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o member_n and_o all_o suffer_v all_o the_o torment_n of_o a_o damn_a and_o desperate_a creature_n both_o in_o soul_n and_o body_n have_v the_o worm_n of_o our_o conscience_n gnaw_v in_o we_o continual_o even_o in_o they_o we_o may_v not_o faint_v under_o the_o burden_n we_o be_v to_o consider_v of_o the_o circumstance_n of_o time_n when_o we_o shall_v reap_v the_o fruit_n of_o our_o labour_n â—_o gal._n 6._o â—_o that_o be_v in_o due_a season_n if_o we_o faint_v not_o which_o be_v partly_o in_o this_o life_n for_o godliness_n have_v the_o promise_n of_o this_o life_n â—_o 2._o tim._n 4._o â—_o as_o well_o as_o of_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o the_o lord_n as_o he_o do_v in_o this_o life_n give_v to_o his_o child_n the_o first_o fruit_n of_o his_o spirit_n 8.23_o rom._n 8.23_o so_o he_o do_v give_v they_o they_o shall_v be_v in_o full_a possession_n of_o eternal_a glory_n and_o felicity_n for_o ever_o and_o see_v the_o lord_n have_v of_o his_o wisdom_n and_o goodness_n set_v down_o the_o time_n when_o we_o shall_v be_v comfort_v &_o receive_v our_o reward_n we_o must_v in_o faith_n and_o patience_n wait_v upon_o he_o for_o it_o and_o as_o the_o husbandman_n that_o have_v sow_v his_o field_n do_v not_o look_v for_o his_o crop_n the_o next_o day_n or_o the_o next_o week_n but_o tarry_v till_o the_o harvest_n come_v so_o must_v we_o sow_v the_o seed_n of_o obedience_n unto_o god_n even_o under_o the_o cross_n though_o with_o tear_n and_o look_v for_o the_o fruit_n of_o it_o at_o the_o great_a day_n of_o harvest_n when_o we_o shall_v reap_v it_o with_o joy_n even_o with_o that_o joy_n that_o be_v unspeakable_a and_o most_o glorious_a when_o he_o shall_v separate_v the_o sheep_n from_o the_o goat_n and_o give_v they_o their_o reward_n say_v come_v you_o bless_v of_o my_o father_n â—_o math._n â—_o take_v the_o inheritance_n of_o the_o kingdom_n prepare_v for_o you_o from_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n and_o see_v the_o lord_n have_v be_v patient_a in_o wait_v for_o our_o wave_n and_o tempest_n of_o this_o troublesome_a world_n till_o we_o arrive_v happy_o at_o the_o haven_n of_o heaven_n we_o shall_v find_v the_o joy_n so_o to_o exceed_v all_o the_o misery_n that_o we_o have_v endure_v here_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v grieve_v one_o whit_n that_o we_o be_v come_v to_o such_o a_o place_n of_o rest_n by_o so_o long_a and_o tedious_a a_o journey_n which_o
