consider_v also_o that_o we_o see_v many_o precious_a stone_n and_o yet_o the_o one_o to_o be_v more_o esteem_v than_o the_o other_o although_o they_o be_v of_o the_o same_o sort_n and_o kind_n and_o we_o see_v many_o excellent_a man_n which_o study_n the_o same_o art_n and_o yet_o one_o be_v more_o esteem_v than_o the_o other_o as_o well_o ingravers_n as_o painter_n the_o same_o be_v see_v among_o learned_a man_n all_o be_v learned_a but_o one_o better_a learned_a than_o the_o other_o and_o the_o like_a be_v to_o be_v see_v in_o all_o science_n and_o art_n and_o so_o in_o this_o noble_a art_n god_n have_v give_v more_o to_o one_o then_o to_o another_o i_o will_v begin_v therefore_o to_o tell_v you_o how_o that_o of_o many_o that_o teach_v some_o begin_v and_o enter_v their_o scholar_n with_o the_o rapier_n and_o dagger_n some_o with_o the_o rapier_n and_o cloak_n some_o with_o the_o rapier_n and_o buckler_n and_o some_o with_o the_o rapier_n alone_o some_o after_o one_o fort_n and_o some_o after_o a_o other_o l._n be_v it_o not_o all_o one_o for_o a_o scholar_n to_o begin_v with_o the_o rapier_n alone_o or_o with_o the_o rapier_n and_o cloak_n or_o any_o other_o weapon_n may_v not_o he_o become_v a_o brave_a man_n as_o well_o with_o one_o weapon_n as_o with_o a_o other_o v._o sure_o they_o may_v prove_v well_o but_o not_o so_o well_o as_o those_o which_o begin_v with_o the_o true_a ground_n the_o which_o scholar_n shall_v learn_v of_o good_a master_n and_o teacher_n shall_v with_o all_o diligence_n teach_v their_o scholar_n l._n and_o what_o i_o pray_v you_o be_v this_o ground_n v._o the_o true_a foundation_n very_o and_o the_o true_a beginning_n from_o whence_o you_o may_v learn_v all_o thing_n belong_v to_o this_o art_n be_v the_o rapier_n readiness_n but_o as_o for_o i_o i_o will_v show_v you_o the_o ward_n which_o i_o myself_o use_v the_o which_o if_o you_o well_o mark_v and_o observe_v you_o can_v but_o understand_v the_o art_n and_o withal_o keep_v your_o body_n safe_a from_o hurt_n and_o danger_n l._n at_o this_o present_a i_o take_v wonderful_a delight_n in_o your_o company_n and_o nothing_o please_v i_o so_o much_o as_o this_o discourse_n of_o you_o to_o hear_v you_o give_v i_o the_o reason_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o so_o much_o concern_v the_o life_n and_o honour_n of_o a_o man_n wherefore_o perform_v that_o which_o shall_v not_o be_v bind_v to_o answer_v because_o the_o first_o without_o any_o return_n will_v be_v account_v a_o false_a accuser_n and_o a_o liar_n and_o in_o my_o opinion_n it_o be_v a_o more_o honourable_a reputation_n for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v silent_a in_o such_o a_o case_n than_o by_o answer_v to_o seem_v to_o make_v any_o account_n of_o the_o word_n as_o a_o noble_a worthy_a man_n say_v unto_o a_o gentleman_n that_o have_v slander_v he_o that_o he_o will_v neither_o hold_v he_o a_o friend_n nor_o a_o enemy_n not_o yet_o answer_v his_o word_n reckon_v he_o unworthy_a to_o be_v well_o
