eliphaz_n and_o his_o two_o friend_n have_v he_o nothing_o to_o say_v against_o elihu_n he_o have_v speak_v as_o harsh_o to_o job_n as_o any_o of_o they_o yet_o elihu_n be_v not_o at_o all_o reprove_v much_o less_o be_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n kindle_v against_o he_o i_o answer_v it_o be_v true_a elihu_n speak_v very_o hard_a word_n of_o job_n yet_o we_o may_v say_v four_o thing_n of_o elihu_n which_o may_v exempt_v he_o from_o this_o blame_n which_o fall_v upon_o those_o three_o first_o he_o do_v not_o speak_v with_o nor_o discover_v a_o bitter_a spirit_n as_o they_o do_v second_o elihu_n object_v not_o against_o job_n his_o former_a life_n nor_o charge_v he_o as_o have_v do_v wicked_o towards_o man_n or_o hypocritical_o towards_o god_n he_o only_o condemn_v he_o for_o present_a his_o wrath_n go_v no_o further_o hence_o note_n first_o the_o lord_n know_v how_o to_o declare_v wrath_n as_o well_o as_o love_v displeasure_n as_o well_o as_o favour_n he_o have_v a_o store_n of_o ephes_n 2.3_o though_o they_o be_v in_o the_o everlasting_a love_n of_o god_n yet_o they_o be_v child_n of_o wrath_n as_o to_o their_o present_a condition_n whilst_o in_o a_o state_n of_o nature_n and_o unreconciled_a to_o god_n now_o as_o the_o child_n of_o god_n be_v child_n of_o wrath_n before_o their_o conversion_n so_o when_o any_o great_a sin_n be_v commit_v after_o conversion_n they_o especial_o this_o to_o grieve_v and_o discourage_v any_o of_o his_o suffer_a servant_n to_o speak_v of_o the_o holiness_n justice_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n so_o as_o to_o terrify_v a_o afflict_a soul_n be_v to_o make_v a_o bad_a improvement_n of_o the_o best_a thing_n it_o be_v a_o fly_n in_o the_o box_n of_o ointment_n dead_a fly_n say_v solomon_n eccles_n 10.1_o cause_v the_o ointment_n of_o the_o apothecary_n to_o send_v forth_o a_o stink_a savour_n so_o do_v a_o little_a folly_n he_o that_o be_v in_o reputation_n for_o wisdom_n and_o honour_n job_n friend_n be_v in_o plain_o enough_o that_o he_o have_v darken_v counsel_n by_o word_n without_o knowledge_n while_o he_o ask_v he_o who_o do_v it_o chap._n 38.2_o he_o intimate_v also_o that_o job_n have_v contend_v
