in_o scripture_n forbid_v to_o imitate_v the_o profane_a and_o superstitious_a custom_n of_o the_o heathen_a which_o know_v not_o god_n nor_o his_o word_n so_o levit._n 18._o 3._o after_o the_o do_n gospel_n if_o we_o shall_v at_o any_o time_n be_v call_v so_o to_o do_v as_o we_o know_v not_o but_o we_o may_v though_o now_o we_o enjoy_v our_o life_n in_o peace_n together_o with_o the_o free_a profession_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o gospel_n yet_o time_n may_v alter_v and_o god_n may_v call_v we_o to_o hazard_v our_o life_n yea_o to_o lose_v they_o for_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n as_o the_o martyr_n do_v etc._n etc._n therefore_o good_a wisdom_n it_o be_v to_o provide_v for_o the_o worst_a that_o may_v come_v and_o to_o fit_v and_o stir_v up_o ourselves_o before_o hand_n to_o lay_v he_o teach_v daily_o in_o the_o temple_n at_o jerusalem_n observe_v observe_v the_o diligence_n and_o constancy_n of_o our_o saviour_n in_o his_o ministerial_a office_n of_o preach_v and_o teach_v the_o people_n and_o in_o work_a miracle_n for_o confirmation_n of_o his_o doctrine_n in_o that_o although_o he_o have_v the_o night_n before_o withdraw_v himself_o with_o his_o disciple_n from_o jerusalem_n to_o bethany_n there_o to_o rest_n and_o refresh_v himself_o after_o his_o former_a day_n labour_n yet_o now_o in_o the_o morning_n of_o the_o next_o day_n he_o return_v back_o to_o jerusalem_n again_o there_o to_o be_v employ_v again_o in_o his_o labour_n of_o teach_v the_o people_n etc._n etc._n so_o he_o omit_v no_o opportunity_n of_o time_n or_o place_n to_o do_v good_a by_o his_o ministry_n etc._n etc._n herein_o all_o pastor_n and_o minister_n ought_v to_o imitate_v our_o saviour_n in_o this_o pain_n diligence_n and_o constancy_n in_o execution_n of_o his_o
