come_v to_o my_o house_n and_o bring_v the_o priest_n scale_n and_o weigh_v out_o twelve_o tod_n of_o my_o hay_n and_o the_o priest_n buy_v my_o hay_n of_o they_o for_o three_o penny_n a_o tod_n and_o send_v his_o man_n and_o fetch_v it_o away_o yet_o this_o be_v to_o be_v note_v viz._n this_o unjust_a priest_n who_o buy_v my_o hay_n which_o be_v wrongful_o take_v away_o from_o i_o at_o three_o penny_n a_o tod_n yet_o he_o rate_v the_o tithe_n of_o the_o same_o hay_n at_o six_o penny_n a_o tod_n and_o sue_v i_o for_o it_o and_o recover_v treble_a damage_n and_o make_v a_o prey_n of_o my_o good_n as_o shall_v appear_v in_o its_o place_n short_o after_o the_o priest_n meet_v i_o in_o the_o street_n begin_v to_o threaten_v i_o what_o he_o will_v do_v to_o i_o if_o i_o will_v not_o pay_v he_o tithe_n he_o will_v throw_v i_o into_o prison_n but_o say_v he_o if_o i_o have_v be_v civil_o deal_v withal_o and_o you_o have_v pay_v i_o my_o tyches_n i_o will_v not_o have_v be_v uncivil_a to_o you_o and_o word_n to_o this_o effect_n then_o i_o ask_v he_o if_o he_o be_v the_o man_n that_o have_v complain_v against_o i_o to_o william_n james_n he_o say_v he_o have_v complain_v against_o i_o and_o will_v do_v so_o again_o and_o further_o say_v that_o for_o every_o sunday_n i_o henceforth_o do_v neglect_n to_o come_v to_o church_n thou_o shall_v be_v sure_a say_v he_o to_o pay_v twelve_o penny_n as_o thy_o hat_n be_v on_o thy_o head_n and_o on_o the_o 25_o day_n of_o the_o four_o month_n 1665._o i_o be_v excommunicate_v for_o not_o pay_v to_o the_o steeplehouse_n tax_n as_o boxford_n or_o to_o either_o of_o they_o whereas_o information_n and_o complaint_n have_v be_v make_v and_o give_v in_o unto_o i_o upon_o oath_n that_o oliver_n sansom_n resident_a in_o your_o parish_n do_v upon_o the_o 2d_o the_o 9th_o the_o 16_o and_o the_o 23th_o day_n of_o this_o present_a july_n be_v sunday_n neglect_v to_o come_v to_o your_o parish_n church_n to_o hear_v divine_a service_n contrary_a to_o the_o law_n in_o that_o case_n make_v and_o provide_v these_o be_v therefore_o in_o his_o majesty_n name_n to_o charge_n and_o command_v you_o and_o every_o of_o you_o to_o
