1.23_o where_o the_o apostle_n say_v be_v bear_v again_o not_o of_o corruptible_a but_o of_o incorruptible_a by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o live_v and_o abide_v forever_o which_o word_n say_v the_o objector_n be_v christ_n and_o the_o great_a reason_n that_o be_v urge_v be_v because_o it_o live_v and_o abide_v forever_o but_o say_v he_o these_o word_n make_v nothing_o to_o prove_v this_o apostle_n the_o father_n mouth_n and_o speak_v his_o word_n as_o the_o spirit_n give_v they_o utterance_n so_o that_o if_o he_o be_v call_v the_o word_n only_o because_o of_o that_o every_o one_o of_o the_o prophet_n may_v be_v as_o well_o call_v the_o word_n also_o because_o they_o be_v his_o mouth_n and_o speak_v his_o word_n but_o what_o absurdity_n be_v these_o that_o j._n n._n run_v into_o to_o make_v christ_n not_o to_o be_v the_o word_n real_o so_o i_o must_v needs_o acknowledge_v he_o exceed_v in_o one_o thing_n all_o sort_n of_o people_n profess_v christianity_n that_o ever_o i_o design_n or_o will_v prove_v christ_n not_o to_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n real_o so_o nor_o yet_o to_o be_v christ_n before_o he_o take_v flesh_n etc._n etc._n for_o the_o testimony_n of_o himself_o and_o of_o his_o servant_n concern_v he_o which_o j._n n._n by_o his_o imagination_n labour_n to_o make_v of_o none_o effect_v will_v stand_v valuable_a and_o credible_a viz._n that_o christ_n who_o as_o j._n newman_n confess_v take_v flesh_n in_o the_o womb_n of_o the_o virgin_n be_v the_o word_n with_o god_n in_o the_o beginning_n and_o that_o the_o rock_n which_o follow_v israel_n be_v christ_n before_o he_o take_v flesh_n and_o that_o this_o word_n which_o by_o the_o gospel_n the_o apostle_n preach_v be_v christ_n which_o he_o preach_v and_o that_o the_o preach_n
