he_o shall_v baptize_v with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o with_o fire_n 16._o answ_n 1._o they_o err_v in_o take_v this_o word_n fire_n literal_o and_o proper_o which_o be_v mean_v mystical_o and_o metaphorical_o 2._o they_o err_v in_o apply_v that_o to_o the_o outward_a action_n of_o a_o minister_n which_o be_v mean_v of_o the_o inward_a operation_n of_o christ_n by_o this_o their_o misinterpretation_n they_o thwart_v the_o main_a scope_n of_o he_o who_o first_o use_v that_o phrase_n which_o be_v to_o manifest_v the_o difference_n betwixt_o 2._o all_o other_o minister_n and_o christ_n jesus_n 4._o the_o opinion_n and_o practice_n of_o those_o who_o use_v other_o form_n of_o baptism_n beside_o this_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n and_o of_o the_o son_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n their_o opinion_n and_o practice_n be_v ground_v on_o certain_a concise_a phrase_n use_v by_o the_o apostle_n such_o as_o these_o baptise_a in_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o 5._o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n etc._n etc._n answ_n those_o phrase_n rather_o set_v forth_o the_o very_a substance_n and_o inward_a matter_n of_o baptism_n than_o the_o form_n thereof_o 5._o their_o opinion_n and_o practice_n who_o care_v not_o by_o who_o their_o child_n be_v baptize_v whether_o heretic_n idolater_n laic_n or_o woman_n little_o do_v they_o regard_v the_o comfort_n of_o conscience_n and_o strength_n of_o faith_n that_o arise_v from_o this_o that_o a_o lawful_a minister_n in_o god_n room_n and_o name_n as_o god_n ambassador_n put_v the_o seal_n of_o god_n to_o his_o covenant_n 6._o the_o practice_n of_o those_o as_o i_o know_v not_o upon_o what_o niceness_n or_o state_n must_v have_v their_o child_n baptize_v at_o home_n in_o their_o private_a house_n this_o manner_n of_o baptise_v take_v away_o much_o from_o the_o honour_n of_o that_o high_a ordinance_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v do_v with_o all_o the_o seemly_a great_a than_o they_o that_o be_v on_o earth_n do_v thou_o therefore_o who_o be_v a_o master_n on_o earth_n rejoice_v or_o grieve_v the_o soul_n of_o thy_o servant_n god_n in_o heaven_n can_v much_o both_o because_o of_o that_o outward_a power_n which_o they_o have_v over_o their_o servant_n and_o also_o because_o for_o the_o most_o part_n master_n be_v back_v with_o the_o power_n and_o authority_n of_o magistrate_n on_o earth_n who_o in_o matter_n of_o difference_n betwixt_o master_n and_o servant_n be_v ordinary_o partial_a respect_v master_n more_o than_o servant_n but_o let_v master_n here_o learn_v to_o cast_v off_o all_o such_o fond_a conceit_n and_o foolish_a hope_n though_o they_o be_v high_o in_o place_n have_v more_o wealth_n and_o better_a friend_n than_o their_o servant_n and_o though_o man_n who_o have_v carnal_a eye_n may_v thereby_o be_v much_o move_v to_o respect_v they_o yet_o will_v not_o god_n go_v a_o hair_n breadth_n from_o justice_n for_o the_o whole_a world_n if_o the_o great_a man_n that_o ever_o be_v in_o the_o world_n shall_v have_v a_o servant_n that_o be_v the_o mean_a that_o ever_o be_v and_o a_o case_n betwixt_o that_o master_n and_o that_o servant_n shall_v come_v before_o god_n god_n will_v not_o any_o whit_n at_o all_o lean_a to_o that_o master_n more_o than_o to_o the_o servant_n if_o the_o great_a that_o be_v abuse_v the_o mean_a they_o shall_v not_o escape_v wherefore_o o_o master_n give_v no_o just_a cause_n of_o complaint_n to_o any_o servant_n the_o apostle_n manner_n of_o set_v down_o these_o point_n note_v in_o
