set_v before_o thou_o there_o go_v out_o a_o power_n from_o he_o to_o work_v faith_n in_o thy_o heart_n whereby_o thou_o true_o believe_v it_o and_o so_o it_o appear_v in_o thy_o life_n we_o think_v have_v change_v thy_o whole_a course_n as_o it_o will_v do_v if_o it_o be_v once_o wrought_v in_o thou_o by_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n so_o also_o consider_v whether_o there_o have_v a_o virtue_n go_v out_o from_o he_o to_o work_v love_n in_o thy_o heart_n to_o the_o lord_n for_o otherwise_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o there_o be_v no_o man_n in_o the_o world_n that_o be_v able_a to_o love_n god_n or_o to_o come_v near_o he_o for_o all_o love_n rise_v from_o similitude_n there_o must_v be_v a_o agreement_n and_o similitude_n between_o those_o two_o that_o love_n now_o every_o man_n by_o nature_n be_v as_o contrary_a to_o god_n pure_a nature_n as_o fire_n be_v to_o water_n and_o without_o a_o almighty_a power_n to_o change_v his_o nature_n and_o to_o work_v a_o particular_a affection_n of_o love_n in_o he_o he_o can_v never_o be_v able_a to_o love_n god_n therefore_o it_o be_v the_o baptism_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n 11._o i_o will_v baptize_v you_o with_o the_o holy_a as_o sensible_a love_n as_o thou_o love_v any_o friend_n as_o thou_o love_v any_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n consider_v if_o this_o be_v wrought_v in_o thou_o or_o no._n and_o so_o for_o thy_o knowledge_n there_o be_v also_o a_o power_n in_o it_o consider_v whether_o any_o such_o virtue_n have_v go_v out_o from_o christ_n to_o make_v the_o knowledge_n which_o thou_o have_v powerful_a you_o will_v say_v quest._n what_o be_v that_o that_o be_v answ._n to_o bring_v on_o these_o truth_n which_o thy_o heart_n assent_v unto_o to_o bring_v they_o with_o that_o evidence_n and_o fullness_n of_o the_o prayer_n of_o a_o saint_n and_o the_o prayer_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n it_o may_v be_v if_o you_o look_v upon_o the_o petition_n or_o whatsoever_o be_v in_o the_o prayer_n itself_o you_o shall_v find_v some_o time_n the_o prayer_n of_o a_o godly_a man_n more_o cold_a and_o less_o fervent_a the_o petition_n be_v not_o so_o well_o frame_v as_o the_o wicked_a man_n yet_o because_o this_o come_v from_o such_o a_o person_n the_o lord_n regard_v it_o not_o you_o know_v the_o condition_n be_v mention_v james_n five_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o righteous_a man_n avail_v much_o if_o it_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o misery_n that_o be_v in_o we_o and_o from_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n when_o a_o man_n take_v a_o thing_n to_o heart_n that_o he_o pray_v for_o and_o come_v with_o confidence_n helmet_n to_o defend_v the_o blow_n sometime_o the_o lord_n keep_v not_o off_o the_o enemy_n but_o then_o he_o give_v we_o a_o helmet_n to_o keep_v off_o those_o blow_n to_o bear_v those_o injury_n for_o to_o what_o end_n be_v such_o promise_n as_o this_o but_o to_o encourage_v we_o to_o do_v our_o duty_n when_o we_o hear_v that_o prayer_n be_v of_o so_o much_o efficacy_n that_o it_o prevail_v with_o the_o lord_n for_o any_o thing_n shall_v we_o suffer_v it_o to_o lay_v by_o as_o it_o be_v and_o not_o make_v use_n of_o it_o if_o a_o drug_n or_o a_o precious_a balm_n be_v commend_v to_o we_o and_o it_o be_v tell_v we_o that_o if_o we_o make_v use_v of_o it_o it_o will_v heal_v any_o wound_n it_o will_v heal_v any_o sickness_n and_o this_o and_o this_o virtue_n it_o have_v will_v a_o wise_a man_n suffer_v it_o to_o lay_v by_o he_o will_v he_o not_o use_v it_o and_o see_v what_o virtue_n it_o have_v and_o when_o it_o be_v say_v unto_o we_o that_o prayer_n be_v thus_o prevalent_a
