as_o be_v not_o heart_n friend_n to_o he_o &_o his_o cause_n may_v be_v discover_v may_v fall_v off_o and_o so_o appear_v to_o be_v what_o indeed_o they_o be_v if_o the_o lord_n be_v always_o appear_v for_o his_o people_n when_o ever_o they_o begin_v to_o be_v in_o a_o strait_n and_o visible_o make_v bare_a his_o arm_n in_o their_o behalf_n many_o hollow_a heart_a &_o false_a friend_n will_v take_v part_n with_o they_o and_o stay_v among_o they_o and_o seem_v to_o love_v and_o favour_v they_o therefore_o that_o they_o may_v be_v make_v manifest_a the_o lord_n hide_v himself_o and_o appear_v not_o so_o open_o for_o his_o friend_n but_o suffer_v they_o to_o fall_v under_o the_o foot_n of_o enemy_n who_o oppress_v they_o and_o all_o that_o take_v their_o part_n which_o occasion_v their_o step_v aside_o &_o turn_v away_o from_o the_o truth_n as_o not_o be_v reconcile_v with_o the_o cross_n nor_o love_a christ_n and_o his_o people_n so_o as_o to_o take_v a_o share_n with_o they_o in_o the_o affliction_n and_o bondage_n how_o many_o who_o appear_v zealous_a in_o a_o fair_a day_n will_v turn_v about_o and_o side_n with_o wicked_a and_o evil_a doer_n to_o be_v free_a of_o the_o cross_n and_o when_o they_o see_v no_o footstep_n more_o of_o the_o lord_n appear_v for_o his_o work_n and_o interest_n on_o the_o other_o hand_n in_o the_o three_o place_n the_o lord_n think_v good_a to_o follow_v this_o way_n for_o some_o good_a end_n in_o reference_n to_o his_o own_o people_n as_o 1._o the_o lord_n do_v thus_o that_o he_o may_v discover_v the_o hide_a corruption_n that_o lurk_v in_o his_o own_o people_n which_o in_o a_o fair_a day_n when_o he_o be_v upon_o their_o head_n march_v through_o the_o host_n of_o the_o enemy_n and_o trade_v they_o under_o foot_n who_o oppress_v his_o people_n and_o keep_v they_o at_o under_o will_v lie_v at_o the_o bottom_n and_o not_o appear_v as_o 1._o unbelief_n when_o the_o arm_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v reveal_v they_o can_v then_o but_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v the_o lord_n and_o the_o god_n of_o his_o people_n they_o can_v then_o have_v the_o least_o doubt_n about_o this_o but_o many_o doubt_n question_n scruple_n and_o hesitation_n will_v arise_v in_o their_o soul_n when_o the_o lord_n face_n be_v hide_v and_o he_o appear_v not_o in_o behalf_n of_o his_o afflict_a people_n and_o interest_n the_o disciple_n do_v open_o enough_o profess_v their_o faith_n in_o christ_n as_o the_o messiah_n &_o the_o son_n of_o the_o live_a god_n while_o be_v with_o they_o he_o work_v miracle_n before_o their_o eye_n but_o when_o once_o he_o be_v crucify_v dead_a and_o bury_v thomas_n will_v not_o believe_v no_o not_o though_o the_o other_o disciple_n have_v tell_v he_o that_o they_o have_v see_v the_o lord_n nor_o will_v he_o believe_v as_o he_o say_v express_o himself_o unless_o he_o shall_v see_v in_o his_o hand_n the_o print_n of_o the_o nail_n and_o put_v his_o finger_n in_o the_o
