hard-hearted_a people_n and_o a_o people_n that_o be_v fit_a for_o destruction_n and_o nigh_o to_o ruin_v when_o the_o lord_n shall_v take_v away_o such_o instrument_n and_o it_o be_v not_o lay_v to_o heart_n in_o isa_n 57_o 1._o the_o righteous_a perish_v say_v he_o no_o man_n lay_v it_o to_o heart_n none_o consider_v that_o they_o be_v take_v away_o from_o the_o evil_a to_o come_v it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o there_o be_v evil_a a_o come_n to_o that_o people_n when_o the_o righteous_a be_v take_v away_o and_o they_o do_v not_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n but_o i_o say_v when_o that_o we_o have_v no_o hope_n in_o the_o death_n of_o friend_n when_o we_o see_v the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v go_v out_o to_o cut_v off_o man_n in_o sin_n when_o god_n shall_v meet_v they_o in_o a_o way_n of_o rebellion_n i_o confess_v there_o be_v more_o cause_n of_o rake_v up_o a_o sad_a lamentation_n you_o know_v what_o be_v david_n carriage_n in_o this_o case_n when_o god_n smite_v his_o son_n absalon_n he_o be_v smite_v in_o his_o rebellion_n he_o die_v in_o his_o sin_n and_o therefore_o david_n take_v up_o a_o sad_a lamentation_n o_o absalon_n my_o son_n my_o son_n will_v god_n i_o have_v die_v for_o thou_o but_o in_o another_o case_n in_o the_o case_n of_o another_o child_n when_o his_o child_n die_v in_o who_o death_n he_o have_v hope_n david_n do_v not_o mourn_v with_o bitterness_n then_o mourn_v whenas_o god_n take_v away_o a_o friend_n by_o death_n but_o when_o we_o have_v hope_n in_o their_o death_n that_o death_n be_v gain_v unto_o they_o this_o shall_v exceed_o compose_v and_o calm_v and_o quiet_a our_o spirit_n object_n but_o you_o will_v say_v your_o loss_n be_v great_a your_o loss_n be_v exceed_o great_a such_o a_o dear_a husband_n such_o a_o love_a wife_n such_o a_o belove_a child_n there_o be_v none_o know_v how_o great_a my_o loss_n be_v and_o therefore_o do_v not_o condemn_v i_o in_o my_o mourning_n answ_n i_o answer_v how_o dear_a so_o ever_o thy_o friend_n and_o how_o great_a so_o ever_o thy_o loss_n be_v if_o thou_o have_v interest_n in_o christ_n thy_o loss_n can_v undo_v thou_o if_o the_o lord_n be_v thy_o portion_n thy_o loss_n can_v undo_v thou_o baruch_n be_v reprove_v because_o he_o take_v up_o so_o sad_a a_o lamentation_n in_o isa_n 45._o 3._o woe_n be_v i_o for_o the_o lord_n have_v add_v grief_n to_o my_o sorrow_n i_o faint_v in_o my_o sigh_v and_o i_o find_v no_o rest_n woe_n be_v i_o etc._n etc._n he_o have_v interest_n in_o god_n and_o therefore_o he_o do_v not_o well_o so_o to_o complain_v because_o his_o loss_n can_v not_o un_fw-we do_v he_o yea_o thy_o loss_n be_v not_o so_o great_a but_o god_n can_v make_v it_o up_o in_o himself_o and_o if_o god_n give_v thou_o more_o of_o himself_o though_o less_o of_o the_o creature_n thou_o shall_v have_v no_o cause_n to_o complain_v 3._o three_o but_o again_o consider_v and_o look_v upon_o not_o only_o thy_o loss_n but_o look_v upon_o the_o gain_n of_o thy_o friend_n if_o thou_o have_v hope_n in_o his_o death_n look_v upon_o his_o gain_n and_o let_v that_o quiet_a thy_o spirit_n why_o he_o gain_v rest_n he_o be_v lay_v down_o to_o sleep_v will_v you_o mourn_v when_o your_o friend_n lie_v down_o in_o their_o bed_n to_o sleep_v the_o righteous_a when_o death_n come_v it_o lay_v they_o upon_o their_o bed_n to_o sleep_v if_o thy_o friend_n gain_v rest_n why_o then_o shall_v thou_o disquiet_v thyself_o by_o inordinate_a mourning_n he_o gain_v peace_n and_o joy_n the_o righteous_a enter_v into_o peace_n and_o therefore_o why_o shall_v thou_o so_o mourn_v as_o to_o disturb_v thy_o peace_n or_o to_o quench_v and_o damp_n the_o joy_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o thou_o why_o it_o be_v thy_o friend_n that_o die_v in_o the_o lord_n it_o be_v the_o time_n of_o his_o advancement_n he_o be_v advance_v it_o be_v his_o marriage-day_n or_o a_o day_n of_o coronation_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o inordinate_a mourning_n and_o you_o that_o be_v parent_n that_o love_v your_o child_n never_o so_o dear_o you_o will_v be_v willing_a to_o part_v with_o they_o for_o their_o preferment_n though_o you_o marry_v they_o when_o it_o may_v be_v you_o shall_v enjoy_v little_a of_o they_o when_o they_o shall_v go_v hundred_o of_o mile_n from_o you_o you_o shall_v enjoy_v little_a of_o they_o but_o you_o will_v say_v it_o be_v to_o a_o man_n that_o have_v a_o great_a estate_n and_o why_o shall_v i_o hinder_v they_o now_o be_v you_o willing_a to_o part_v with_o your_o child_n for_o preferment_n when_o you_o see_v they_o may_v enjoy_v a_o little_a of_o earth_n and_o shall_v you_o be_v unwilling_a to_o part_v with_o they_o when_o they_o may_v enjoy_v the_o fullness_n of_o heaven_n will_v you_o trust_v a_o man_n a_o creature_n with_o they_o and_o will_v not_o you_o trust_v
