that_o will_v have_v their_o heart_n assure_v of_o the_o save_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n must_v have_v the_o law_n of_o god_n write_v by_o the_o finger_n of_o god_n in_o their_o heart_n they_o that_o be_v perfect_o holy_a and_o righteous_a in_o his_o own_o person_n yet_o he_o execute_v his_o justice_n upon_o he_o to_o the_o full_a as_o he_o present_v himself_o before_o he_o burden_v with_o the_o guilt_n of_o man_n sin_n against_o the_o law_n it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o bruise_v he_o 10._o he_o have_v put_v he_o to_o grief_n 33._o say_v the_o apostle_n he_o spare_v not_o his_o own_o son_n but_o deliver_v he_o up_o for_o we_o he_o spare_v not_o his_o own_o son_n he_o find_v he_o engage_v to_o satisfy_v the_o law_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n and_o therefore_o he_o execute_v the_o denounce_v a_o grievous_a penalty_n a_o curse_n 17._o death_n and_o destruction_n as_o be_v note_v also_o yea_o the_o law_n give_v to_o mankind_n in_o adam_n have_v the_o sentence_n of_o death_n annex_v in_o the_o day_n thou_o eat_v thereof_o thou_o shall_v sure_o die_v 3._o hence_o it_o follow_v that_o if_o neither_o the_o law_n be_v fulfil_v in_o a_o way_n of_o obedience_n nor_o satisfy_v by_o the_o inflict_a of_o the_o punishment_n than_o it_o be_v make_v void_a and_o declare_v to_o be_v of_o no_o force_n to_o have_v lose_v its_o authority_n its_o vigour_n and_o to_o be_v frustrate_v of_o its_o end_n 4._o thereupon_o we_o may_v infer_v by_o the_o rule_n of_o contrary_n that_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n have_v in_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n bear_v the_o full_a penalty_n severity_n and_o curse_v of_o the_o law_n due_a to_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n against_o the_o law_n and_o by_o his_o godhead_n to_o which_o his_o humane_a nature_n wherein_o he_o suffer_v be_v wonderful_a abasement_n the_o grievous_a suffering_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n be_v signal_n evidence_n infallible_a demonstration_n of_o the_o force_n and_o authority_n of_o the_o law_n the_o lord_n of_o glory_n appear_v in_o the_o form_n of_o a_o servant_n to_o make_v way_n for_o satisfy_v the_o law_n he_o that_o be_v the_o brightness_n of_o the_o father_n glory_n endure_v the_o shame_n of_o the_o cross_n do_v abundant_o witness_v to_o the_o world_n the_o authority_n of_o the_o law_n the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n spare_v not_o his_o most_o precious_a blood_n but_o free_o pour_v it_o forth_o to_o satisfy_v the_o law_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o his_o people_n and_o thereby_o ratify_v and_o seal_v the_o authority_n of_o the_o law_n how_o shall_v this_o be_v improve_v to_o stir_v up_o poor_a soul_n without_o delay_n to_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n 1_o and_o flee_v to_o christ_n for_o in_o as_o much_o as_o the_o lord_n jesus_n do_v both_o perform_v perfect_a obedience_n to_o the_o law_n and_o bear_v the_o full_a penalty_n and_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n and_o by_o both_o these_o establish_v the_o law_n it_o show_v clear_o that_o the_o law_n stand_v in_o full_a force_n against_o all_o that_o be_v out_o of_o christ_n they_o be_v guilty_a of_o sin_n against_o the_o law_n be_v subject_a to_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n for_o be_v not_o find_v in_o christ_n they_o have_v no_o part_n in_o his_o perfect_a righteousness_n and_o full_a satisfaction_n and_o therefore_o be_v every_o moment_n in_o danger_n of_o the_o sentence_n of_o condemnation_n denounce_v by_o the_o the_o
