pleasure_n remember_v all_o the_o trouble_n and_o grief_n that_o they_o have_v wade_v through_o in_o the_o life_n past_a and_o with_o pleasure_n look_v upon_o the_o pain_n of_o hell_n which_o they_o see_v other_o plunge_v into_o but_o themselves_o have_v by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n so_o strange_o escape_v and_o thence_o even_o from_o this_o consideration_n shall_v they_o take_v occasion_n to_o sing_v praise_n to_o he_o who_o have_v place_v they_o in_o a_o bless_a estate_n not_o obnoxious_a to_o any_o of_o their_o former_a grief_n and_o have_v also_o redeem_v they_o from_o the_o dreadful_a region_n of_o darkness_n and_o bring_v they_o to_o his_o own_o marvellous_a light_n and_o now_o the_o sum_n of_o what_o i_o have_v discourse_v be_v this_o that_o there_o be_v nothing_o more_o desirable_a to_o mankind_n in_o general_a than_o joy_n or_o happiness_n that_o the_o great_a joy_n be_v by_o all_o wise_a man_n to_o be_v prefer_v before_o the_o less_o that_o to_o the_o great_a possible_a joy_n beside_o other_o requisite_n the_o absence_n of_o all_o grief_n be_v require_v that_o the_o estate_n of_o glory_n have_v this_o requisite_a first_o it_o be_v free_a from_o all_o those_o care_n and_o grief_n and_o pain_n to_o which_o we_o be_v here_o obnoxious_a by_o reason_n of_o our_o body_n for_o the_o proof_n of_o which_o i_o show_v you_o in_o particular_a that_o though_o the_o usual_a care_n and_o pain_n to_o which_o we_o be_v here_o obnoxious_a by_o reason_n of_o our_o mortality_n be_v of_o use_n and_o necessity_n in_o this_o present_a world_n yet_o they_o have_v no_o use_n nor_o place_n nor_o possibility_n in_o the_o state_n of_o glory_n then_o i_o show_v you_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v none_o of_o those_o pain_n in_o heaven_n that_o be_v pure_o mental_a and_o last_o of_o all_o that_o though_o after_o this_o life_n there_o be_v a_o tophet_n of_o everlasting_a punishment_n prepare_v yet_o that_o the_o pain_n thereof_o shall_v not_o touch_v the_o bless_a but_o that_o the_o contemplation_n of_o they_o shall_v even_o augment_v their_o joy_n all_o this_o have_v i_o do_v to_o prove_v that_o the_o first_o condition_n namely_o indolence_n or_o security_n from_o grief_n be_v one_o part_n of_o the_o portion_n of_o religious_a and_o good_a man_n in_o heaven_n but_o this_o be_v but_o the_o negative_a part_n but_o the_o remove_n of_o the_o rubbish_n that_o there_o may_v be_v a_o good_a foundation_n lay_v for_o the_o superstructure_n of_o happiness_n when_o i_o shall_v draw_v the_o next_o curtain_n i_o shall_v show_v you_o that_o i_o may_v further_o provoke_v you_o to_o the_o practice_n of_o a_o religious_a and_o virtuous_a life_n the_o glory_n of_o the_o mansion_n itself_o the_o joy_n of_o heaven_n the_o fullness_n of_o that_o joy_n the_o pleasure_n of_o that_o state_n even_o those_o pleasure_n that_o the_o psalmist_n affirm_v shall_v last_v for_o evermore_o now_o let_v the_o great_a god_n of_o his_o infinite_a mercy_n pardon_v our_o sin_n and_o purify_v our_o heart_n and_o make_v we_o first_o as_o desirous_a of_o his_o reward_n in_o heaven_n as_o they_o be_v worthy_a of_o our_o desire_n then_o let_v he_o
