warrant_n from_o god_n here_o be_v superstition_n we_o must_v all_o be_v willing_a worshipper_n but_o not_o will_n worshipper_n we_o must_v come_v free_o to_o worship_n god_n but_o we_o must_v not_o worship_n god_n according_a to_o our_o own_o will_n and_o therefore_o what_o ever_o we_o do_v in_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n if_o we_o have_v not_o a_o warrant_n for_o it_o when_o this_o be_v say_v who_o require_v this_o at_o your_o hand_n it_o will_v stop_v our_o mouth_n another_o day_n in_o matthew_n 15._o 9_o in_o vain_a do_v they_o worship_v i_o teach_v for_o doctrine_n the_o commandment_n of_o man_n in_o vain_a it_o be_v a_o vain_a thing_n to_o worship_n god_n when_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o a_o commandment_n of_o man_n for_o this_o worship_n if_o you_o will_v worship_n god_n you_o come_v in_o and_o cast_v they_o out_o and_o so_o you_o submit_v to_o it_o but_o that_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o you_o to_o submit_v to_o it_o because_o authority_n will_v have_v it_o so_o but_o you_o ought_v to_o be_v humble_v before_o god_n for_o all_o you_o will-worship_n for_o all_o your_o yeilding_n to_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n that_o be_v teach_v by_o the_o precept_n of_o man_n you_o see_v how_o severe_a god_n be_v to_o nadab_n and_o abihu_n for_o but_o take_v other_o fire_n than_o that_o which_o god_n have_v appoint_v to_o offer_v up_o incense_n though_o there_o be_v no_o direct_a commandment_n against_o it_o if_o the_o lord_n have_v spare_v you_o and_o not_o manifest_v any_o displeasure_n upon_o you_o you_o have_v cause_n to_o acknowledge_v god_n mercy_n and_o to_o be_v humble_v for_o all_o your_o false_a worship_n certain_o god_n do_v expect_v it_o from_o this_o land_n to_o be_v humble_v for_o their_o will-worship_n or_o otherwise_o they_o few_o among_o thorn_n all_o the_o reformation_n that_o be_v among_o we_o if_o there_o be_v not_o a_o humiliation_n before_o for_o our_o false_a worship_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o that_o we_o set_v up_o now_o the_o true_a worship_n of_o god_n but_o we_o must_v be_v humble_v for_o our_o false_a worship_n and_o that_o be_v the_o first_o note_n that_o in_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n there_o must_v be_v nothing_o but_o what_o god_n command_v the_o second_o note_n be_v observe_v in_o the_o matter_n of_o worship_n god_n stand_v upon_o little_a thing_n such_o thing_n as_o seem_v to_o be_v very_o small_a and_o little_a to_o we_o yet_o god_n stand_v much_o upon_o they_o in_o the_o matter_n of_o worship_n for_o there_o be_v nothing_o wherein_o the_o prerogative_n of_o god_n do_v more_o appear_v then_o in_o worship_n as_o prince_n they_o stand_v much_o upon_o their_o prerogative_n now_o god_n have_v write_v the_o law_n of_o natural_a worship_n in_o our_o heart_n as_o that_o we_o shall_v love_v god_n fear_v god_n tru●_n in_o god_n and_o pray_v to_o god_n this_o god_n have_v write_v in_o our_o heart_n but_o there_o be_v other_o thing_n in_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n that_o be_v not_o write_v in_o our_o heart_n that_o only_o depend_v upon_o the_o will_n of_o god_n reveal_v in_o his_o word_n which_o be_v no_o duty_n except_o they_o be_v revelead_v in_o his_o word_n and_o these_o be_v of_o such_o a_o nature_n as_o we_o can_v see_v no_o reason_n for_o but_o only_o this_o because_o god_n will_v have_v they_o as_o now_o there_o be_v many_o kind_n of_o ceremony_n to_o manifest_a honour_n to_o prince_n that_o there_o be_v no_o reason_n for_o they_o at_o all_o but_o mere_o because_o it_o be_v a_o civil_a institution_n so_o appoint_v so_o god_n will_v have_v some_o way_n for_o the_o honour_n of_o he_o that_o the_o creature_n shall_v not_o see_v into_o the_o reason_n of_o they_o but_o mere_o the_o will_n

tender_v it_o up_o by_o but_o jesus_n christ_n and_o when_o we_o tender_v it_o up_o we_o must_v come_v ourselves_o too_o for_o christ_n do_v not_o take_v our_o service_n and_o tender_v it_o up_o to_o god_n and_o we_o be_v absent_a but_o we_o must_v come_v with_o christ_n and_o christ_n take_v we_o by_o the_o hand_n and_o so_o tender_v it_o up_o to_o the_o father_n while_o we_o be_v in_o presence_n so_o that_o we_o be_v say_v to_o come_v nigh_o to_o god_n in_o that_o respect_n because_o of_o the_o immediate_a tender_v up_o of_o that_o worship_n of_o we_o to_o god_n i_o call_v it_o immediate_a in_o respect_n of_o any_o creature_n but_o in_o respect_n of_o christ_n indeed_o he_o be_v a_o mediator_n to_o do_v it_o but_o yet_o he_o do_v it_o in_o a_o spiritual_a way_n and_o we_o have_v to_o do_v with_o none_o but_o god_n through_o jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o tender_v up_o of_o our_o worship_n to_o he_o we_o may_v make_v use_n of_o a_o institution_n that_o god_n have_v appoint_v but_o we_o do_v not_o tender_v up_o our_o worship_n to_o god_n through_o that_o creature_n but_o in_o the_o use_n of_o that_o creature_n we_o do_v come_v to_o god_n and_o our_o soul_n be_v to_o tender_v up_o that_o respect_n we_o owe_v to_o god_n immediate_o therefore_o in_o levit._n 21._o 21._o it_o be_v say_v of_o the_o priest_n in_o their_o sacrifice_n when_o they_o be_v to_o come_v to_o worship_n ourselves_o before_o he_o in_o those_o thing_n that_o he_o do_v use_v to_o let_v out_o himself_o though_o in_o a_o more_o special_a and_o glorious_a manner_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o his_o people_n what_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o heaven_n be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o why_o those_o that_o be_v in_o heaven_n be_v say_v to_o live_v with_o god_n there_o they_o behold_v the_o face_n of_o god_n and_o be_v before_o he_o in_o a_o special_a manner_n therefore_o when_o christ_n teach_v we_o to_o pray_v he_o teach_v we_o to_o look_v up_o to_o heaven_n and_o to_o say_v our_o father_n which_o ●rt_n in_o heaven_n etc._n etc._n now_o certain_o the_o essential_a presence_n of_o god_n be_v on_o earth_n as_o true_o and_o real_o as_o in_o heaven_n and_o god_n be_v not_o a_o more_o special_a way_n now_o than_o if_o the_o communication_n of_o god_n unto_o a_o creature_n be_v enough_o to_o make_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n more_o special_a if_o this_o be_v enough_o to_o make_v a_o creature_n to_o live_v with_o god_n and_o to_o be_v before_o his_o face_n because_o they_o be_v there_o where_o god_n do_v most_o communicate_v himself_o then_o certain_o when_o we_o come_v to_o worship_n god_n we_o come_v to_o be_v near_o god_n and_o be_v with_o god_n because_o the_o duty_n of_o his_o worship_n be_v those_o mean_n that_o the_o lord_n have_v appoint_v for_o the_o let_v out_o of_o himself_o in_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o mercy_n to_o his_o people_n you_o may_v expect_v other_o manner_n of_o communication_n of_o god_n goodness_n through_o the_o duty_n of_o his_o worship_n then_o in_o any_o other_o way_n and_o that_o be_v the_o second_o respect_n wherein_o you_o may_v be_v say_v to_o draw_v nigh_o to_o god_n in_o holy_a duty_n three_o you_o may_v be_v say_v to_o draw_v nigh_o to_o god_n

you_o be_v not_o in_o trouble_n and_o fear_n than_o it_o put_v not_o on_o the_o heart_n to_o performance_n of_o duty_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n put_v on_o the_o soul_n to_o duty_n when_o there_o be_v most_o peace_n and_o comfort_n 6_o a_o little_a will_v serve_v the_o turn_n to_o satisfy_v a_o natural_a conscience_n so_o be_v it_o they_o perform_v the_o duty_n it_o be_v enough_o but_o be_v to_o come_v to_o show_v how_o we_o shall_v sanctify_v god_n name_n in_o duty_n in_o reference_n to_o the_o several_a attribute_n of_o god_n but_o first_o for_o those_o two_o head_n further_o 8_o the_o eight_o thing_n be_v this_o when_o you_o come_v to_o perform_v holy_a duty_n if_o you_o will_v sanctify_v god_n name_n you_o must_v consecrate_v yourselves_o to_o god_n there_o must_v be_v a_o consecrate_v themselves_o to_o god_n and_o so_o likewise_o every_o time_n they_o come_v to_o hear_v the_o word_n or_o to_o receive_v sacrament_n god_n will_v account_v his_o name_n to_o be_v sanctify_v in_o such_o a_o work_n as_o this_o be_v 9_o last_o that_o that_o must_v make_v all_o up_o and_o without_o which_o all_o the_o other_o be_v nothing_o it_o be_v that_o you_o must_v tender_v
