and_o as_o she_o do_v this_o way_n sufficient_o show_v that_o she_o seek_v not_o herself_o in_o it_o but_o god_n so_o afterward_o she_o do_v it_o much_o more_o in_o praise_v god_n for_o it_o and_o in_o perform_v her_o vow_n when_o she_o bring_v he_o to_o the_o house_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o shyloh_n 2.18_o chap._n 2.18_o so_o soon_o as_o she_o have_v wean_v he_o and_o there_o leave_v he_o with_o hely_n the_o priest_n whereby_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o he_o minister_v before_o the_o lord_n be_v a_o young_a child_n gird_v with_o a_o linen_n ephod_n thus_o she_o be_v content_v to_o child_n not_o so_o much_o to_o uphold_v their_o name_n as_o to_o inherit_v their_o land_n and_o good_n or_o to_o serve_v god_n in_o the_o church_n and_o commonwealth_n and_o to_o be_v instrument_n of_o his_o glory_n and_o determine_v to_o bring_v they_o up_o thereafter_o they_o may_v both_o be_v bless_v with_o child_n above_o the_o course_n of_o nature_n and_o in_o they_o above_o the_o common_a may_v obtain_v great_a thing_n of_o god_n but_o for_o the_o most_o part_n man_n seek_v wisdom_n and_o learning_n to_o set_v forth_o themselves_o and_o therein_o seek_v their_o own_o wealth_n and_o credit_n either_o whole_o or_o more_o than_o the_o other_o and_o not_o the_o discharge_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n in_o the_o right_a use_n of_o they_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o so_o either_o miss_v of_o they_o or_o have_v they_o not_o in_o that_o measure_n that_o other_o have_v and_o as_o they_o may_v attain_v unto_o themselves_o the_o prophet_n elijah_n be_v whole_o take_v up_o with_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n when_o he_o contend_v with_o the_o priest_n of_o baal_n and_o so_o by_o prayer_n obtain_v fire_n from_o heaven_n to_o consume_v his_o sacrifice_n heaven_n and_o elias_n both_o for_o fire_n from_o heaven_n for_o the_o contention_n be_v whether_o god_n or_o baal_n be_v the_o true_a god_n 18.37_o 1._o king_n 18.37_o therefore_o he_o pray_v thus_o hear_v i_o o_o lord_n and_o let_v the_o people_n know_v that_o thou_o be_v the_o lord_n god_n and_o then_o his_o zeal_n appear_v afterward_o in_o kill_v all_o those_o false_a prophet_n and_o priest_n of_o baal_n that_o 5.17_o for_o say_v he_o the_o prayer_n of_o one_o righteous_a man_n avail_v much_o when_o it_o be_v fervent_a as_o elias_n be_v a_o man_n like_o we_o yet_o inflame_v with_o god_n glory_n do_v pray_v thing_n but_o for_o the_o most_o part_n man_n respect_v themselves_o in_o their_o prayer_n and_o not_o god_n and_o so_o obtain_v little_a or_o nothing_o and_o the_o same_o elijah_n when_o he_o pray_v for_o fire_n to_o consume_v the_o captain_n and_o their_o fifty_o man_n when_o they_o come_v to_o fetch_v he_o to_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n by_o force_n say_v thou_o man_n of_o god_n the_o king_n command_v thou_o to_o come_v to_o he_o as_o if_o they_o have_v say_v thou_o say_v that_o thou_o be_v a_o man_n of_o god_n well_o let_v we_o see_v whether_o he_o can_v keep_v thou_o from_o the_o king_n he_o answer_v they_o if_o i_o be_v a_o man_n of_o god_n 1.10_o 2._o king_n 1.10_o let_v fire_n come_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o consume_v thou_o and_o thy_o fifty_o and_o so_o it_o do_v he_o do_v not_o thus_o pray_v in_o any_o private_a revenge_n but_o that_o it_o may_v be_v know_v that_o he_o be_v a_o true_a prophet_n and_o that_o that_o message_n be_v true_a that_o he_o send_v unto_o the_o
