primative_a church_n will_v allow_v any_o vocal_a prayer_n that_o be_v when_o the_o mouth_n utter_v the_o petition_n with_o voice_n or_o any_o manner_n of_o sacrament_n or_o other_o public_a &_o common_a rite_n or_o action_n pertain_a to_o the_o profit_n and_o edify_n of_o the_o poor_a congregation_n to_o be_v minister_v in_o a_o tongue_n unknown_a or_o not_o understand_v of_o the_o minister_n or_o people_n yea_o and_o whether_o any_o person_n may_v private_o use_v any_o vocal_a prayer_n in_o a_o language_n that_o he_o himself_o understand_v not_o to_o this_o question_n we_o must_v answer_v no._n and_o first_o of_o common_a prayer_n and_o administration_n of_o sacrament_n although_o reason_n if_o it_o may_v rule_v will_v soon_o persuade_v we_o to_o have_v our_o common_a prayer_n &_o administration_n of_o sacrament_n in_o a_o know_a tongue_n both_o for_o that_o to_o pray_v common_o be_v for_o a_o multitude_n to_o ask_v one_o &_o the_o self_n thing_n with_o one_o voice_n and_o one_o consent_n of_o mind_n and_o to_o administer_v a_o sacrament_n be_v by_o the_o out_o ward_v word_n and_o element_n to_o preach_v to_o the_o receiver_n the_o inward_a &_o invisible_a purchase_v for_o we_o his_o father_n favour_n again_o which_o be_v that_o deep_a fountain_n of_o all_o goodness_n and_o eternal_a life_n but_o also_o invent_v the_o way_n most_o wise_o whereby_o they_o may_v redound_v to_o our_o commodity_n &_o profit_n among_o the_o which_o mean_n be_v the_o public_a celebration_n of_o the_o memory_n of_o his_o precious_a death_n at_o the_o lord_n table_n which_o although_o it_o seem_v of_o small_a virtue_n to_o some_o yet_o be_v right_o do_v by_o the_o faithful_a it_o do_v not_o only_o help_v their_o weakness_n who_o be_v by_o their_o poison_a our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n do_v and_o command_v to_o be_v do_v as_o his_o holy_a apostle_n use_v it_o and_o the_o good_a father_n in_o the_o primative_a church_n frequent_v it_o for_o as_o that_o worthy_a man_n saint_n ambrose_n say_v he_o be_v unworthy_a of_o the_o lord_n that_o otherwise_o do_v celebrate_v that_o mystery_n than_o it_o be_v deliver_v by_o he_o neither_o can_v he_o be_v benefit_n offer_v and_o exhibit_v in_o that_o supper_n but_o either_o will_v light_o regard_v they_o to_o no_o small_a offence_n or_o utter_o condemn_v they_o to_o his_o utter_a destruction_n so_o that_o by_o his_o negligence_n he_o deserve_v the_o plague_n of_o god_n to_o fall_v upon_o he_o and_o by_o contempt_n he_o deserve_v everlasting_a perdition_n to_o avoid_v then_o these_o harm_n use_v the_o advice_n of_o the_o wise_a man_n who_o will_v thou_o when_o thou_o sit_v at_o a_o earthly_a king_n table_n xxiii_o to_o take_v diligent_a heed_n what_o thing_n be_v set_v before_o thou_o so_o now_o much_o more_o at_o the_o king_n of_o king_n table_n thou_o must_v careful_o search_n and_o know_v what_o dainty_n be_v provide_v for_o thy_o soul_n whither_o thou_o be_v come_v not_o to_o feed_v
