adversary_n that_o exalt_v themselves_o against_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n can_v otherwise_o be_v repress_v so_o our_o apostle_n do_v when_o the_o false_a apostle_n do_v so_o insolent_o brag_v as_o if_o they_o have_v all_o knowledge_n and_o all_o wisdom_n and_o all_o understanding_n 3._o when_o they_o which_o otherwise_o shall_v give_v they_o that_o testimony_n which_o be_v due_a unto_o they_o do_v it_o not_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n require_v it_o then_o may_v they_o break_v out_o into_o their_o own_o praise_n and_o this_o our_o apostle_n show_v to_o be_v one_o cause_n why_o he_o boast_v himself_o where_o he_o say_v 12.11_o 2_o cor._n 12.11_o i_o be_v a_o fool_n to_o have_v boast_v myself_o but_o you_o have_v compel_v i_o for_o i_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v commend_v of_o you_o speak_v and_o even_o to_o glory_n and_o boast_v of_o such_o blessing_n as_o god_n have_v bestow_v upon_o they_o above_o their_o brethren_n touch_v this_o whole_a point_n i_o give_v these_o two_o caveat_n first_o that_o they_o do_v not_o hunt_v after_o occasion_n and_o opportunity_n to_o praise_v themselves_o but_o that_o then_o only_o they_o do_v so_o when_o they_o be_v even_o drive_v and_o compel_v so_o to_o do_v by_o such_o occasion_n as_o now_o we_o have_v speak_v of_o or_o the_o like_a second_o that_o when_o they_o praise_v themselves_o be_v compel_v thereunto_o they_o do_v it_o not_o in_o affectation_n of_o their_o own_o praise_n but_o for_o the_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o almighty_a god._n here_o then_o let_v not_o any_o proud_a pharisie_n or_o any_o ambitious_a diâ—trephes_n shroud_v himself_o under_o the_o covert_n of_o the_o apostle_n as_o if_o his_o example_n may_v serve_v to_o he_o for_o any_o defence_n of_o his_o ambition_n or_o pharisaical_a contempt_n not_o of_o paul_n spirit_n but_o rather_o of_o lucifer_n spirit_n whosoever_o otherwise_o boast_v themselves_o then_o be_v compel_v thereunto_o whosoever_o otherwise_o break_v out_o into_o their_o own_o praise_n then_o only_o unto_o the_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n they_o may_v well_o talk_v of_o paul_n boast_n
conform_v ourselves_o unto_o the_o will_n of_o god_n set_v down_o in_o his_o word_n as_o touch_v i_o say_v our_o faith_n and_o repentance_n so_o touch_v our_o love_n whether_o we_o love_v one_o another_o so_o that_o as_o member_n of_o the_o same_o body_n we_o bear_v one_o with_o another_o and_o help_v one_o another_o for_o as_o faith_n and_o repentance_n towards_o god_n so_o this_o love_n also_o towards_o our_o neighbour_n be_v so_o necessary_o requisite_a that_o otherwise_o we_o do_v not_o worthy_o celebrate_v these_o holy_a mystery_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o will_v be_v worthy_a partaker_n of_o this_o holy_a supper_n as_o here_o we_o that_o be_v many_o do_v all_o eat_v one_o bread_n and_o drink_v of_o one_o cup_n be_v all_o confirm_v in_o one_o faith_n and_o nourish_v to_o none_o indeed_o can_v yet_o some_o think_v they_o may_v plead_v pardon_n for_o their_o lie_v the_o desperate_a liar_n it_o may_v be_v hope_v not_o for_o nor_o reckon_v upon_o any_o pardon_n he_o
