this_o name_n be_v give_v he_o by_o special_a direction_n from_o god_n the_o rather_o because_o solomon_n be_v to_o be_v a_o type_n of_o christ_n the_o lord_n anoint_v the_o true_a immanuel_n or_o whether_o solomon_n speak_v of_o himself_o here_o in_o a_o three_o person_n give_v himself_o this_o name_n or_o whether_o it_o be_v his_o mother_n that_o give_v he_o this_o name_n when_o she_o see_v he_o be_v to_o succeed_v or_o have_v succeed_v his_o father_n in_o the_o throne_n which_o some_o be_v the_o more_o incline_v to_o think_v because_o it_o be_v his_o mother_n here_o that_o call_v he_o lemuel_n it_o can_v be_v certain_o determine_v however_o it_o be_v clear_a that_o they_o be_v call_v the_o word_n of_o king_n lemuel_n because_o it_o be_v king_n solomon_n that_o write_v they_o and_o leave_v they_o upon_o record_n for_o that_o they_o be_v the_o word_n which_o bathsheba_n his_o mother_n speak_v to_o he_o be_v evident_a by_o the_o follow_a clause_n the_o prophecy_n that_o his_o mother_n teach_v he_o to_o wit_n either_o when_o she_o first_o discover_v his_o natural_a temper_n incline_v to_o those_o sin_n which_o here_o she_o warn_v he_o to_o avoid_v or_o rather_o in_o his_o tender_a year_n when_o her_o love_n only_o make_v her_o fear_n lest_o he_o shall_v dash_v upon_o these_o rock_n or_o when_o haply_o by_o the_o extraordinary_a guidance_n of_o god_n spirit_n she_o son_n and_o consequent_o that_o what_o she_o now_o speak_v to_o he_o proceed_v from_o her_o tender_a affection_n to_o he_o and_o that_o in_o these_o regard_v he_o be_v bind_v not_o to_o despise_v her_o counsel_n but_o rather_o to_o hearken_v the_o more_o affectionate_o to_o she_o as_o for_o that_o manner_n of_o speech_n which_o she_o here_o use_v what_o my_o son_n and_o what_o the_o son_n of_o my_o womb_n etc._n etc._n it_o be_v a_o abrupt_a kind_n of_o speech_n import_v abundance_n of_o affection_n even_o more_o than_o can_v be_v utter_v and_o that_o especial_o by_o the_o frequent_a repetition_n of_o that_o word_n son_n some_o conceive_v it_o be_v a_o form_n of_o speech_n tend_v to_o stir_v up_o the_o party_n speak_v to_o to_o mind_n serious_o what_o be_v speak_v as_o if_o she_o have_v only_o say_v ah_o my_o dear_a son_n harken_v diligent_o to_o i_o but_o rather_o some_o word_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v that_o be_v not_o express_v what_o my_o son_n etc._n etc._n as_o if_o she_o have_v say_v what_o think_v thou_o my_o son_n or_o what_o affection_n do_v thou_o bear_v towards_o i_o or_o rather_o what_o shall_v i_o say_v to_o thou_o or_o desire_n and_o require_v from_o
