and_o confirm_v doctrinal_o and_o then_o illustrate_v practical_o as_o for_o the_o doctrinal_a part_n the_o socinian_o they_o have_v raise_v up_o much_o dust_n and_o have_v obscure_v the_o point_n with_o their_o subtle_a heretical_a depravation_n for_o whereas_o the_o church_n of_o god_n former_o do_v believe_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o the_o father_n by_o eternal_a generation_n they_o deny_v this_o reason_n and_o assert_v some_o new_a one_o of_o their_o own_o invention_n yea_o and_o the_o remonstrant_n also_o though_o they_o assert_v christ_n sonship_n from_o the_o father_n by_o eternal_a generation_n yet_o they_o affirm_v also_o a_o second_o way_n of_o communication_n of_o this_o sonship_n and_o that_o be_v by_o a_o gracious_a vouchsafe_n of_o supreme_a power_n and_o glory_n to_o he_o so_o that_o they_o must_v acknowledge_v two_o filiation_n in_o christ_n the_o one_o eternal_a by_o that_o secret_a and_o ineffable_a generation_n the_o other_o temporal_a or_o in_o common_a and_o general_a notion_n whereby_o god_n be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o father_n in_o respect_n of_o creation_n and_o so_o to_o all_o man_n isa_n 54._o 8._o and_o the_o apostle_n sanctify_v that_o expression_n of_o the_o poet_n for_o we_o be_v his_o off_o spring_n we_o do_v not_o here_o meddle_v with_o and_o 1._o there_o be_v a_o son_n of_o god_n by_o creation_n after_o the_o image_n of_o god_n that_o holy_a thing_n which_o shall_v be_v bear_v of_o thou_o shall_v be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o god_n now_o though_o these_o man_n hold_v christ_n be_v call_v thus_o the_o son_n of_o god_n adhere_v to_o humane_a generation_n especial_o that_o of_o separation_n and_o multiplication_n for_o among_o man_n when_o the_o father_n beget_v the_o son_n there_o be_v a_o multiplication_n of_o a_o new_a essence_n and_o then_o a_o division_n or_o separation_n of_o the_o son_n essence_n from_o the_o father_n so_o that_o although_o the_o son_n have_v the_o same_o specifical_a essence_n with_o the_o father_n yet_o not_o the_o same_o numerical_a essence_n whereas_o in_o this_o supernatural_a mystery_n there_o be_v no_o division_n or_o distinction_n of_o the_o essence_n but_o of_o the_o
