say_v or_o do_v god_n may_v be_v honour_v and_o glorify_v not_o we_o ourselves_o magnify_v and_o how_o honour_v by_o jesus_n christ_n who_o first_o teach_v we_o this_o perfection_n of_o refer_v all_o prayer_n that_o the_o foul_a free_a from_o distraction_n of_o all_o sense_n may_v be_v like_a to_o herself_o in_o the_o state_n of_o separation_n from_o the_o body_n still_o fix_v upon_o almighty_a god_n as_o the_o bless_a spirit_n of_o saint_n and_o angel_n be_v in_o heaven_n 2._o nor_o be_v it_o without_o some_o reason_n the_o method_n of_o this_o book_n allow_v but_o ten_o day_n only_o for_o the_o special_a inculcation_n &_o exercise_n of_o hope_n first_o because_o hope_v still_o go_v on_o hand_n in_o hand_n with_o faith_n and_o charity_n and_o can_v fail_v if_o those_o two_o be_v mystical_o do_v of_o holy_a church_n to_o shorten_v the_o time_n of_o hope_n thereby_o to_o make_v we_o see_v god_n can_v be_v long_o from_o those_o that_o long_o to_o be_v with_o he_o and_o be_v in_o constant_a expectation_n of_o his_o come_n for_o we_o see_v that_o after_o only_o ten_o day_n watchful_a prayer_n or_o exercise_n of_o hope_n our_o saviour_n send_v the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o his_o apostle_n not_o that_o he_o have_v promise_v it_o so_o soon_o but_o that_o he_o can_v not_o find_v in_o his_o heart_n to_o defer_v it_o any_o long_o and_o belove_v if_o after_o the_o long_a day_n of_o time_n we_o enjoy_v a_o blissful_a eternity_n how_o speedy_a a_o reward_n shall_v we_o esteem_v it_o to_o be_v of_o our_o hope_n and_o expectation_n in_o regard_v the_o abundance_n of_o the_o gain_n will_v recompense_v the_o long_a delay_n thereof_o much_o after_o that_o sort_n as_o our_o saviour_n first_o come_n do_v recompense_v the_o four_o thousand_o year_n expectation_n of_o his_o birth_n
