to_o the_o very_a body_n only_o they_o themselves_o stand_v naked_a before_o god_n in_o spirit_n which_o be_v both_o just_a and_o necessary_a for_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n in_o man_n the_o spirit_n and_o the_o flesh_n hereupon_o there_o be_v some_o place_n which_o do_v guide_v only_a faith_n in_o the_o spirit_n some_o which_o do_v direct_v only_a work_n in_o the_o body_n for_o one_o place_n can_v not_o direct_v both_o the_o body_n and_o the_o spirit_n together_o we_o must_v so_o do_v with_o our_o substance_n that_o we_o be_v willing_a
thou_o from_o they_o out_o of_o this_o life_n into_o the_o eternal_a &_o bless_a life_n in_o the_o mean_a season_n thou_o must_v suffer_v all_o these_o thing_n with_o a_o patient_a mind_n and_o take_v they_o in_o good_a part_n lose_v none_o of_o the_o spiritual_a joy_n which_o thou_o have_v of_o christ_n in_o thy_o god_n &_o for_o thy_o part_n show_v to_o thy_o persecutor_n all_o kindness_n and_o love_n be_v always_o mindful_a that_o thou_o a_o little_a before_o waste_v not_o much_o unlike_o they_o before_o god_n all_o which_o thing_n thou_o shall_v do_v through_o faith_n &_o love_n albeit_o they_o exceed_v the_o strength_n of_o nature_n and_o this_o in_o deed_n be_v a_o true_a christian_a life_n wherein_o thou_o do_v endeavour_n to_o do_v so_o to_o other_o as_o god_n have_v do_v to_o thou_o not_o by_o the_o work_n of_o righteousness_n which_o we_o have_v do_v in_o these_o word_n the_o apostle_n signify_v that_o which_o we_o have_v now_o say_v and_o prove_v it_o as_o it_o be_v by_o render_v a_o reason_n us._n we_o must_v do_v well_o unto_o man_n yea_o even_o though_o they_o have_v not_o so_o deserve_v of_o us._n for_o if_o the_o bountifulness_n and_o love_n of_o god_n to_o manward_n have_v appear_v &_o he_o have_v save_v we_o of_o his_o mercy_n and_o not_o because_o of_o our_o own_o righteousness_n yea_o we_o be_v by_o all_o mean_v unworthy_a and_o subject_a to_o innumerable_a sin_n it_o be_v meet_v that_o we_o also_o do_v good_a to_o they_o that_o have_v not_o deserve_v so_o much_o of_o we_o &_o be_v unworthy_a thereof_o for_o we_o which_o be_v become_v the_o son_n of_o god_n must_v resemble_v god_n our_o father_n and_o bestow_v benefit_n according_a to_o our_o ability_n as_o well_o upon_o our_o enemy_n and_o persecutor_n as_o upon_o our_o friend_n and_o a_o ready_a will_n and_o heart_n of_o son_n which_o alone_o can_v satisfy_v it_o it_o utter_o refuse_v servant_n and_o they_o that_o be_v unwilling_a but_o these_o of_o cain_n brood_n do_v not_o only_o of_o their_o own_o accord_n confess_v that_o they_o want_v this_o faith_n which_o make_v the_o son_n of_o god_n but_o also_o they_o persecute_v it_o they_o feel_v and_o know_v also_o full_o only_o and_o thereby_o they_o do_v altogether_o hinder_v the_o end_n of_o the_o law_n and_o strive_v against_o faith_n and_o grace_n whereunto_o if_o they_o be_v not_o blind_a the_o law_n will_v direct_v and_o drive_v they_o and_o so_o they_o continue_v always_o a_o blind_a blockish_a and_o miserable_a people_n these_o thing_n paul_n teach_v rom._n 3_o and_o 7._o and_o do_v free_o pronounce_v that_o no_o man_n be_v justify_v before_o god_n by_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n law_n no_o man_n be_v justify_v by_o the_o law_n add_v no_o other_o cause_n hereof_o than_o this_o for_o that_o the_o his_o dout_n until_o he_o be_v make_v certain_a by_o his_o work_n here_o thou_o see_v plain_o that_o such_o a_o man_n be_v not_o good_a or_o righteous_a see_v that_o he_o want_v this_o faith_n and_o belief_n that_o he_o be_v count_v acceptable_a before_o god_n and_o his_o son_n yea_o he_o be_v a_o enemy_n of_o this_o faith_n and_o therefore_o of_o righteousness_n also_o wherefore_o neither_o can_v his_o work_n be_v count_v good_a although_o they_o pretend_v a_o fair_a show_n of_o fulfil_v the_o law_n and_o thus_o be_v it_o easy_a to_o understand_v that_o which_o paul_n say_v that_o no_o man_n be_v justify_v before_o god_n by_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n for_o the_o worker_n must_v be_v justify_v before_o god_n before_o he_o work_v any_o good_a thing_n although_o before_o man_n which_o esteem_v a_o man_n by_o outward_a thing_n and_o not_o by_o the_o mind_n they_o be_v count_v righteous_a which_o apply_v themselves_o to_o the_o do_v of_o good_a work_n for_o man_n judge_v the_o worker_n by_o the_o work_n god_n judge_v the_o work_n by_o the_o worker_n now_o the_o first_o precept_n require_v that_o we_o acknowledge_v &_o worship_v one_o god_n that_o be_v that_o we_o trust_v and_o rest_n in_o he_o alone_o which_o in_o deed_n be_v the_o true_a faith_n whereby_o we_o become_v the_o son_n of_o god_n but_o how_o easy_a be_v it_o by_o this_o precept_n to_o know_v that_o sin_n be_v both_o in_o he_o of_o cain_n brood_n &_o in_o thyself_o inasmuch_o as_o both_o of_o you_o want_v such_o a_o faith_n even_o by_o your_o own_o nature_n which_o thou_o can_v not_o about_o to_o satisfy_v the_o law_n can_v be_v nothing_o but_o work_n of_o the_o law_n of_o far_o less_o importance_n then_o that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o justify_v thou_o before_o god_n who_o count_v they_o only_o righteous_a which_o true_o believe_v in_o he_o for_o they_o only_o acknowledge_v he_o the_o true_a god_n be_v his_o son_n and_o do_v true_o fulfil_v the_o law_n but_o if_o thou_o shall_v even_o kill_v thyself_o with_o work_n yet_o be_v it_o so_o far_o of_o that_o thy_o hart_n can_v obtain_v this_o faith_n thereby_o that_o thy_o work_n be_v even_o a_o hindrance_n that_o thou_o can_v not_o know_v it_o yea_o they_o be_v a_o cause_n that_o thou_o do_v persecute_v it_o hereupon_o it_o be_v that_o he_o that_o study_v to_o fulfil_v the_o law_n without_o faith_n be_v afflict_v for_o the_o devil_n sake_n and_o not_o for_o god_n sake_n and_o continue_v a_o persecutor_n both_o of_o faith_n and_o of_o the_o law_n until_o he_o come_v to_o himself_o and_o do_v plain_o cease_v to_o trust_v in_o himself_o and_o in_o his_o own_o work_n do_v give_v this_o glory_n unto_o god_n who_o justifi_v the_o ungodly_a acknowledge_v himself_o to_o be_v nothing_o and_o figh_v for_o god_n his_o grace_n whereof_o he_o do_v now_o know_v be_v teach_v by_o the_o law_n that_o he_o have_v need_n then_o faith_n and_o grace_n come_v and_o fill_v he_o be_v empty_a satisfy_v he_o be_v hungry_a by_o and_o by_o follow_v good_a work_n which_o be_v true_o good_a neither_o be_v they_o now_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n but_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o faith_n and_o grace_n and_o they_o be_v call_v in_o the_o scripture_n the_o work_n of_o god_n which_o he_o work_v in_o us._n for_o whatsoever_o we_o do_v of_o our_o own_o power_n &_o strength_n evil_a all_o that_o we_o do_v of_o ourselves_o be_v not_o assist_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v evil_a and_o be_v not_o wrought_v in_o we_o by_o his_o grace_n without_o doubt_n it_o be_v a_o work_n of_o the_o law_n and_o avail_v nothing_o to_o good_a and_o consequent_o that_o neither_o their_o work_n be_v good_a for_o how_o shall_v evil_a man_n work_v good_a work_n moreover_o those_o their_o work_n which_o in_o appearance_n &_o show_n seem_v to_o be_v good_a be_v either_o wrest_v from_o they_o by_o fear_n or_o be_v buy_v with_o promise_n a_o evil_a hart_n can_v do_v nothing_o that_o be_v good_a but_o this_o naughtiness_n of_o the_o be_v a_o sin_n to_o be_v against_o the_o law_n which_o be_v very_o good_a thus_o therefore_o sin_n be_v know_v by_o the_o law_n according_a as_o paul_n teach_v forasmuch_o as_o we_o learn_v thereby_o how_o our_o affection_n be_v not_o set_v on_o that_o which_o be_v good_a us._n what_o the_o knowledge_n of_o sin_n which_o come_v by_o the_o law_n aught_o to_o work_v in_o us._n which_o ought_v to_o terrify_v we_o and_o drive_v we_o to_o cease_v to_o trust_v in_o ourselves_o and_o to_o long_o after_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n whereby_o this_o naughtiness_n of_o the_o hart_n may_v be_v take_v elect_a a_o covenant_n when_o he_o promise_v that_o it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o in_o the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n all_o nation_n shall_v be_v bless_v gen._n 22._o that_o covenant_n be_v afterward_o confirm_v by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o reveal_v and_o publish_v abroad_o by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v what_o the_o gospel_n be_v for_o the_o gospel_n be_v no_o other_o thing_n than_o a_o open_a and_o general_a preach_v of_o this_o grace_n that_o in_o christ_n blessing_n and_o grace_n be_v lay_v up_o for_o all_o man_n which_o so_o many_o only_a shall_v receive_v as_o shall_v believe_v now_o before_o that_o this_o covenant_n be_v true_o open_v and_o make_v manifest_a to_o man_n the_o son_n of_o god_n live_v after_o the_o manner_n of_o servant_n under_o the_o law_n and_o be_v exercise_v with_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n although_o they_o can_v not_o be_v justify_v by_o they_o inasmuch_o as_o they_o be_v servile_a and_o do_v nothing_o avail_v to_o justification_n as_o it_o be_v say_v before_o notwithstanding_o because_o they_o be_v even_o then_o predestinate_a to_o life_n when_o they_o be_v after_o the_o son_n and_o heir_n which_o shall_v be_v bring_v unto_o the_o faith_n of_o son_n leave_v the_o state_n of_o servant_n and_o shall_v embrace_v the_o liberty_n and_o right_n of_o son_n shall_v cease_v from_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n and_o come_v unto_o the_o inheritance_n of_o justification_n that_o be_v justify_v by_o grace_n they_o may_v work_v free_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a to_o do_v work_v only_o good_a work_n and_o beside_o such_o a_o one_o none_n hereof_o it_o sufficient_o appear_v that_o the_o beginning_n the_o thing_n follow_v and_o the_o order_n of_o man_n salvation_n be_v after_o this_o sort_n first_o of_o all_o be_v require_v that_o thou_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n next_o that_o thou_o believe_v then_o that_o thou_o do_v work_v &_o so_o at_o the_o last_o become_v save_v and_o happy_a he_z which_o change_v this_o order_n without_o doubt_n be_v not_o of_o god_n paul_n also_o describe_v this_o order_n rom._n 10_o say_v whosoever_o shall_v call_v upon_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n shall_v be_v save_v but_o how_o shall_v they_o call_v on_o he_o in_o who_o they_o have_v not_o believe_v and_o how_o shall_v they_o believe_v in_o he_o of_o who_o they_o have_v not_o hear_v and_o how_o shall_v they_o hear_v without_o a_o preacher_n and_o how_o shall_v they_o preach_v except_o they_o be_v send_v therefore_o christ_n teach_v we_o to_o pray_v the_o lord_n of_o the_o harvest_n that_o he_o will_v send_v forth_o labourer_n into_o his_o harvest_n that_o be_v sincere_a preacher_n when_o we_o hear_v these_o preach_v the_o true_a word_n of_o god_n we_o may_v believe_v which_o faith_n justifi_v a_o man_n and_o make_v he_o godly_a in_o deed_n that_o he_o now_o call_v upon_o god_n in_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o son_n and_o work_v nothing_o but_o that_o which_o be_v good_a and_o thus_o become_v a_o man_n save_v which_o be_v no_o other_o thing_n then_o if_o i_o say_v he_o that_o believe_v shall_v be_v save_v again_o he_o that_o work_v without_o faith_n be_v condemn_v as_o christ_n say_v he_o that_o do_v not_o believe_v shall_v be_v condemn_v from_o which_o no_o work_n shall_v deliver_v he_o confer_v now_o herewith_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v wont_v common_o to_o be_v speak_v of_o honesty_n and_o righteousness_n be_v they_o not_o wont_v thus_o to_o say_v i_o will_v endeavour_n that_o i_o may_v yet_o become_v honest_a it_o be_v meet_v sure_o that_o we_o study_v to_o lead_v a_o honest_a life_n and_o to_o do_v good_a work_n well_o admit_v this_o to_o be_v so_o but_o if_o one_o they_o ask_v they_o how_o we_o may_v apply_v ourselves_o unto_o honesty_n and_o by_o what_o mean_v we_o may_v attain_v unto_o it_o they_o answer_v that_o we_o must_v fast_o pray_v frequent_a temple_n avoid_v sin_n etc._n etc._n holiness_n hypocritical_a &_o counterfeit_a holiness_n hereupon_o one_o become_v a_o charterhouse_n monk_n a_o other_o choose_v some_o other_o order_n of_o monk_n a_o other_o be_v consecrate_v a_o priest_n some_o torment_n their_o flesh_n by_o wear_v hear_v cloth_n other_o scourge_n their_o body_n with_o whip_n other_o afflict_v themselves_o after_o other_o sort_n but_o these_o be_v even_o of_o cain_n brood_n &_o their_o work_n be_v no_o whit_n better_o than_o the_o work_n of_o cain_n for_o the_o man_n himself_o continue_v the_o same_o that_o he_o be_v before_o ungodly_a and_o without_o all_o justification_n there_o be_v a_o certain_a change_n make_v only_o of_o outward_a work_n of_o apparel_n of_o place_n etc._n etc._n neither_o be_v these_o any_o other_o they_o very_a ape_n of_o saint_n for_o they_o do_v preposterous_o imitate_v the_o manner_n &_o work_n of_o saint_n when_o as_o they_o themselves_o be_v nothing_o less_o they_o saint_n they_o scarce_o think_v of_o faith_n they_o presume_v only_o of_o such_o work_n as_o seem_v good_a unto_o themselves_o think_v by_o they_o to_o come_v unto_o heaven_n of_o who_o christ_n say_v enter_v in_o at_o the_o straight_a gate_n for_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o many_o seek_v to_o enter_v in_o at_o it_o &_o can_v not_o why_o be_v this_o because_o they_o know_v not_o what_o this_o narrow_a gate_n be_v for_o it_o be_v faith_n which_o do_v altogether_o annihilate_v or_o make_v a_o man_n nothing_o in_o his_o own_o eye_n &_o require_v that_o he_o put_v no_o trust_n in_o any_o of_o his_o own_o work_n but_o that_o he_o lean_v only_o to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n &_o be_v prepare_v for_o it_o to_o leave_v &_o suffer_v all_o thing_n but_o those_o holy_a one_o of_o cain_n brood_n think_v their_o good_a work_n to_o be_v the_o narrow_a gate_n &_o be_v not_o therefore_o extenuate_v or_o make_v less_o whereby_o they_o may_v enter_v they_o do_v not_o leave_v confidence_n in_o their_o work_n but_o gather_v they_o together_o in_o great_a cowl_n they_o hang_v they_o about_o they_o and_o so_o go_v about_o to_o enter_v in_o be_v burden_v and_o as_o it_o be_v swell_v big_a which_o be_v as_o possible_a for_o they_o as_o for_o a_o camel_n with_o his_o bounched_a not_o what_o he_o ought_v to_o believe_v even_o manifest_a sinner_n know_v that_o and_o be_v after_o this_o sort_n animate_v and_o stir_v up_o they_o think_v that_o they_o be_v abundant_o endue_v with_o faith_n and_o that_o the_o rest_n be_v now_o to_o be_v finish_v &_o make_v perfect_a by_o work_n whereupon_o they_o make_v too_o small_a &_o slender_a account_n of_o faith_n as_o i_o have_v say_v because_o they_o be_v ignorant_a both_o what_o faith_n be_v &_o that_o it_o alone_o do_v justify_v they_o call_v it_o faith_n when_o they_o believe_v those_o thing_n which_o they_o have_v hear_v of_o christ_n which_o kind_n of_o faith_n the_o devil_n also_o have_v &_o yet_o be_v nothing_o therefore_o justify_v but_o this_o deserve_v to_o be_v call_v rather_o a_o opinion_n of_o man_n than_o faith_n for_o as_o we_o do_v oftentimes_o admonish_v it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a that_o thou_o may_v worthy_o be_v call_v a_o christian_a to_o believe_v those_o thing_n to_o be_v true_a which_o be_v preach_v of_o christ_n which_o kind_n of_o faith_n they_o of_o cain_n brood_n also_o have_v faith_n a_o true_a faith_n but_o thou_o must_v also_o nothing_o doubt_n that_o thou_o be_v of_o the_o number_n of_o they_o unto_o who_o all_o those_o benefit_n of_o christ_n be_v give_v &_o exhibit_v which_o he_o that_o believe_v must_v plain_o confess_v that_o he_o be_v holy_a godly_a righteous_a the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o certain_a of_o salvation_n &_o that_o by_o no_o merit_n of_o his_o own_o but_o by_o the_o only_a mercy_n of_o god_n pour_v forth_o upon_o he_o for_o christ_n sake_n which_o he_o beleeeve_v to_o be_v so_o rich_a and_o plentiful_a as_o it_o be_v in_o deed_n that_o although_o he_o be_v as_o it_o be_v drown_v in_o sin_n he_o be_v notwithstanding_o thereby_o make_v holy_a &_o the_o son_n of_o god_n whereof_o if_o he_o shall_v any_o thing_n doubt_n he_o shall_v procure_v exceed_v ignominy_n &_o reproach_n to_o baptism_n which_o he_o have_v receive_v &_o to_o other_o be_v wont_a this_o be_v that_o one_o man_n which_o be_v bear_v only_o of_o a_o woman_n he_o will_v not_o say_v of_o a_o virgin_n virgin_n why_o paul_n rather_o say_v that_o christ_n be_v make_v of_o a_o woman_n they_o of_o a_o virgin_n for_o that_o a_o virgin_n be_v not_o a_o name_n of_o nature_n but_o a_o woman_n signify_v a_o sex_n and_o certain_a condition_n whereunto_o it_o belong_v to_o be_v with_o child_n and_o to_o bring_v forth_o that_o be_v to_o do_v the_o part_n of_o a_o mother_n see_v therefore_o that_o marie_n be_v a_o mother_n in_o deed_n she_o be_v right_o call_v a_o woman_n for_o she_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n unto_o we_o which_o belong_v to_o a_o mother_n and_o not_o to_o a_o virgin_n although_o she_o bring_v it_o forth_o alone_o without_o the_o mean_n of_o man_n wherein_o she_o be_v declare_v both_o a_o singular_a virgin_n and_o woman_n but_o because_o it_o be_v of_o great_a importance_n to_o the_o apostle_n and_o unto_o all_o we_o that_o marie_n be_v a_o woman_n and_o thereby_o the_o mother_n of_o christ_n then_o that_o she_o be_v a_o virgin_n for_o that_o this_o be_v only_o a_o ornament_n unto_o she_o but_o in_o that_o she_o be_v a_o woman_n she_o bring_v forth_o he_o which_o be_v salvation_n unto_o all_o for_o this_o cause_n i_o say_v the_o apostle_n call_v she_o rather_o a_o woman_n then_o a_o virgin_n neither_o be_v it_o consider_v for_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o a_o sinful_a man_n nothing_o can_v be_v bear_v but_o that_o which_o be_v defile_v with_o sin_n but_o it_o behove_v that_o christ_n shall_v be_v that_o bless_a seed_n who_o blessing_n shall_v be_v pour_v forth_o upon_o all_o as_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o divine_a covenant_n require_v whereupon_o it_o be_v gather_v that_o christ_n can_v not_o be_v bear_v of_o the_o seed_n of_o man_n for_o that_o all_o man_n be_v by_o nature_n under_o the_o curse_n for_o how_o shall_v blessing_n be_v promise_v to_o come_v unto_o all_o by_o christ_n if_o all_o be_v not_o subject_a to_o the_o curse_n forasmuch_o then_o as_o the_o covenant_n of_o god_n promise_v to_o abraham_n do_v require_v these_o two_o thing_n both_o that_o christ_n shall_v be_v the_o true_a son_n of_o of_o man_n a_o virgin_n be_v conceive_v with_o child_n by_o the_o only_a mean_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o be_v full_a of_o blessing_n he_o may_v derive_v the_o same_o unto_o all_o believer_n so_o be_v the_o covenant_n of_o god_n fulfil_v on_o either_o side_n and_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o christ_n become_v both_o the_o true_a seed_n of_o abraham_n and_o yet_o free_a from_o all_o contagion_n of_o adam_n and_o be_v also_o the_o author_n of_o eternal_a blessing_n to_o they_o that_o believe_v wherefore_o although_o marie_n be_v holy_o to_o be_v reverence_v by_o the_o name_n of_o virgin_n yet_o by_o no_o comparison_n great_a reverence_n be_v due_a unto_o she_o then_o by_o the_o name_n of_o woman_n for_o that_o her_o most_o holy_a member_n inasmuch_o as_o she_o be_v a_o woman_n be_v advance_v unto_o this_o dignity_n that_o they_o be_v as_o mean_n towards_o the_o fulfil_n of_o the_o holy_a covenant_n of_o god_n and_o by_o they_o he_o be_v bring_v forth_o which_o be_v to_o put_v away_o all_o curse_n from_o they_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o that_o so_o he_o may_v be_v both_o the_o bless_a seed_n of_o abraham_n and_o the_o bless_a fruit_n of_o the_o womb_n of_o marie_n unto_o which_o benefit_n the_o only_a virginity_n have_v not_o be_v sufficient_a yea_o it_o have_v be_v even_o unprofitable_a the_o four_o thing_n whereof_o the_o present_a place_n of_o the_o apostle_n do_v admonish_v we_o be_v that_o christ_n have_v satisfy_v the_o law_n for_o us._n which_o he_o also_o witness_v of_o himself_o matth._n 5_o i_o be_o not_o come_v to_o destroy_v the_o law_n and_o subject_a to_o the_o curse_n so_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v accurse_v whatsoever_o they_o do_v for_o it_o be_v before_o prove_v at_o large_a that_o he_o which_o be_v evell_a himself_o can_v work_v nothing_o that_o be_v good_a likewise_o that_o we_o can_v do_v nothing_o that_o god_n will_v approve_v unless_o we_o ourselves_o be_v approve_v of_o he_o before_o and_o see_v that_o the_o law_n require_v the_o heart_n which_o can_v not_o be_v perform_v of_o they_o which_o be_v not_o as_o yet_o regenerate_v by_o the_o spirit_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o all_o the_o son_n of_o adam_n be_v guilty_a of_o transgress_v the_o law_n and_o unless_o whereas_o they_o themselves_o be_v not_o able_a a_o other_o to_o wit_n christ_n shall_v perform_v that_o which_o the_o law_n require_v and_o so_o satisfy_v the_o law_n for_o they_o they_o shall_v altogether_o perish_v by_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n but_o when_o as_o christ_n go_v about_o to_o show_v that_o the_o heart_n be_v require_v of_o the_o law_n do_v condemn_v the_o work_n which_o proceed_v not_o from_o a_o heart_n that_o be_v godly_a and_o consent_v unto_o the_o law_n he_o be_v accuse_v of_o the_o pharisee_n that_o he_o be_v come_v to_o destroy_v the_o law_n because_o therefore_o he_o will_v take_v away_o this_o false_a opinion_n of_o himself_o he_o say_v think_v not_o that_o i_o be_o come_v to_o destroy_v the_o law_n for_o i_o be_o not_o come_v to_o destroy_v but_o to_o fulfil_v the_o law_n yea_o and_o i_o will_v give_v a_o spirit_n unto_o they_o that_o be_v i_o which_o shall_v justify_v their_o heart_n by_o faith_n and_o incline_v it_o unto_o true_a good_a work_n the_o same_o be_v usual_a with_o paul_n also_o who_o rom._n 3_o when_o he_o have_v reject_v the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n and_o extol_v faith_n answer_v such_o a_o objection_n say_v do_v we_o then_o make_v the_o law_n of_o none_o effect_v god_n forbid_v yea_o we_o establish_v the_o law_n for_o we_o teach_v that_o the_o true_a fulfil_n of_o the_o law_n be_v by_o christ_n the_o like_a also_o be_v wont_a to_o be_v object_v to_o we_o as_o though_o we_o do_v forbid_v good_a work_n when_o we_o disallow_v monastery_n with_o their_o work_n &_o that_o be_v he_o and_o the_o judgement_n which_o we_o have_v deserve_v he_o take_v upon_o himself_o he_o suffer_v the_o punishment_n due_a unto_o we_o willing_o make_v himself_o subject_a to_o death_n and_o the_o curse_n that_o be_v to_o eternal_a damnation_n no_o otherwise_o then_o if_o he_o have_v transgress_v the_o whole_a law_n and_o have_v more_o than_o all_o deserve_v the_o sentence_n thereof_o against_o transgressor_n when_o as_o he_o do_v not_o only_o not_o break_v the_o law_n but_o himself_o alone_o fulfil_v it_o yea_o and_o fulfil_v it_o when_o as_o he_o ought_v nothing_o to_o it_o so_o that_o he_o suffer_v otherwise_o then_o he_o deserve_v in_o two_o respect_n both_o for_o that_o he_o have_v aught_o nothing_o to_o the_o law_n if_o he_o have_v not_o observe_v it_o and_o also_o for_o that_o moreover_o he_o most_o diligent_o observe_v it_o so_o that_o if_o the_o law_n have_v have_v especial_a dominion_n over_o he_o yet_o have_v he_o come_v in_o no_o danger_n thereof_o but_o on_o the_o other_o side_n whereas_o we_o suffer_v we_o suffer_v by_o double_a right_n both_o for_o that_o by_o the_o transgression_n of_o the_o law_n we_o have_v deserve_v all_o the_o punishment_n thereof_o &_o also_o for_o that_o if_o we_o have_v deserve_v nothing_o yet_o be_v creature_n we_o ought_v to_o be_v obedient_a to_o the_o will_n of_o our_o creator_n hereof_o it_o now_o plain_o appear_v what_o this_o mean_v that_o christ_n be_v make_v under_o the_o law_n law_n why_o christ_n be_v make_v under_o the_o law_n that_o he_o may_v redeem_v they_o which_o live_v under_o we_o be_v the_o son_n and_o heir_n of_o god_n what_o shall_v god_n now_o add_v unto_o these_o how_o can_v a_o mind_n hear_v these_o thing_n contain_v itself_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o love_v god_n again_o with_o a_o most_o ardent_a affection_n and_o be_v most_o sweet_o delight_v in_o he_o what_o in_o any_o wise_a may_v come_v to_o be_v do_v or_o suffer_v which_o thou_o will_v not_o willing_o take_v upon_o thou_o with_o exceed_v joy_n and_o most_o high_a praise_n of_o god_n with_o a_o rejoice_a and_o triumph_v mind_n which_o mind_n if_o thou_o want_v it_o be_v a_o certain_a argument_n of_o send_v or_o command_v this_o in_o deed_n be_v the_o true_a deliveraunce_n from_o the_o law_n and_o the_o damnation_n of_o the_o law_n that_o be_v from_o sin_n and_o death_n which_o deliveraunce_n come_v to_o we_o by_o christ_n yet_o not_o so_o that_o there_o be_v now_o no_o law_n or_o death_n but_o that_o they_o do_v not_o now_o trouble_v the_o believer_n any_o thing_n that_o be_v they_o be_v as_o though_o they_o be_v not_o for_o the_o law_n can_v not_o convince_v they_o of_o sin_n neither_o can_v death_n confound_v they_o but_o by_o faith_n they_o most_o happy_o pass_v from_o sin_n and_o of_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o preach_n of_o faith_n be_v daily_o hear_v who_o also_o like_a unto_o satan_n have_v sentence_n of_o scripture_n in_o a_o readiness_n as_o concern_v the_o word_n although_o they_o always_o pervert_v &_o wrest_v they_o to_o their_o own_o error_n and_o false_a imagination_n so_o satan_n recite_v here_o unto_o christ_n out_o of_o the_o 91_o psalm_n that_o god_n do_v command_v his_o angel_n concern_v his_o child_n that_o they_o keep_v they_o lift_v they_o up_o with_o their_o hand_n but_o the_o deceiver_n conceal_v that_o which_o be_v add_v that_o be_v 91.11_o
