this_o make_v i_o like_a croesus_n his_o dumb_a son_n to_o speak_v what!_o can_v their_o adversary_n wrongful_o reproach_v they_o with_o nothing_o less_o than_o lay_v waste_v the_o very_a foundation_n of_o the_o christian_a faith_n which_o stand_v in_o submit_v to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o not_o in_o establish_v any_o righteousness_n of_o our_o own_o as_o inherent_a in_o we_o and_o of_o ourselves_o but_o be_v it_o know_v to_o the_o world_n though_o it_o have_v be_v report_v that_o the_o quaker_n hold_v this_o dangerous_a tenet_n yet_o the_o report_n will_v not_o hold_v true_a when_o it_o come_v to_o be_v examine_v for_o although_o i_o have_v hear_v other_o often_o charge_v it_o upon_o they_o yet_o i_o never_o can_v find_v the_o person_n that_o dare_v say_v this_o be_v their_o own_o confession_n viz_o that_o upon_o the_o account_n of_o inherent_a or_o self-righteousness_n they_o expect_v salvation_n but_o if_o we_o will_v take_v the_o confession_n of_o those_o that_o be_v so_o forward_o to_o make_v confession_n for_o other_o we_o may_v then_o believe_v the_o quaker_n be_v as_o bad_a as_o they_o be_v please_v to_o render_v they_o to_o we_o but_o we_o must_v not_o take_v thing_n upon_o trust_n but_o hear_v both_o party_n if_o we_o will_v be_v ingenuous_a no_o reader_n they_o have_v no_o such_o expectation_n far_o be_v such_o thought_n from_o they_o for_o though_o they_o do_v reckon_v a_o man_n must_v be_v make_v inward_o righteous_a by_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v meet_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n i_o think_v this_o the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n to_o show_v forth_o their_o faith_n by_o their_o work_n yet_o do_v they_o not_o expect_v to_o be_v save_v neither_o for_o their_o faith_n alone_o nor_o by_o their_o work_n but_o by_o christ_n who_o work_v true_a faith_n for_o it_o be_v not_o work_n of_o righteousness_n as_o do_v by_o they_o not_o only_o as_o inherent_a in_o they_o by_o which_o they_o expect_v to_o be_v accept_v of_o god_n and_o justify_v before_o he_o but_o by_o and_o through_o christ_n jesus_n the_o author_n and_o worker_n of_o those_o act_n in_o they_o and_o for_o they_o whereby_o they_o know_v that_o they_o be_v in_o he_o and_o he_o in_o they_o and_o they_o hold_v he_o as_o their_o head_n into_o who_o all_o thing_n be_v gather_v together_o in_o one_o even_o in_o he_o how_o come_v they_o be_v mask_v with_o the_o most_o affright_a vizard_n of_o self-righteousness_n and_o self-sufficiency_n to_o bring_v about_o their_o own_o salvation_n that_o if_o possible_a he_o may_v fright_v people_n from_o have_v any_o converse_n among_o they_o but_o notwithstanding_o the_o wrath_n of_o the_o adversary_n their_o innocency_n will_v appear_v with_o its_o open_a face_n for_o the_o time_n
