make_v the_o kind_a offer_n to_o lease_n out_o his_o estate_n to_o his_o tenant_n and_o to_o their_o child_n upon_o condition_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v bind_v as_o oft_o as_o they_o shall_v be_v require_v to_o do_v some_o little_a suit_n and_o service_n to_o he_o shall_v you_o then_o ask_v i_o what_o be_v require_v of_o such_o person_n as_o be_v to_o have_v these_o lease_n seal_v to_o they_o parent_n or_o guardian_n promise_v in_o their_o name_n well_o sir_n even_o in_o this_o case_n of_o the_o child_n disobedience_n their_o parent_n be_v still_o blameless_a nor_o do_v their_o promise_n make_v for_o their_o child_n become_v lie_n and_o falsehood_n as_o some_o foolish_o speak_v for_o they_o be_v covenant-promise_n and_o all_o the_o meaning_n of_o they_o be_v that_o their_o child_n shall_v perform_v they_o or_o else_o forfeit_v their_o lease_n so_o that_o if_o their_o child_n do_v not_o perform_v they_o they_o must_v even_o forfeit_v according_o and_o there_o be_v a_o end_n of_o that_o matter_n and_o thus_o in_o the_o new_a covenant_n whereof_o christ_n jesus_n be_v the_o mediator_n heb._n 8.6_o and_o which_o be_v the_o purchase_n of_o his_o blood_n as_o be_v intimate_v in_o ask_v again_o why_o then_o be_v infant_n baptise_a when_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o tender_a age_n they_o can_v perform_v they_o the_o answer_n follow_v in_o the_o same_o catechism_n because_o as_o in_o the_o aforesaid_a case_n they_o promise_v they_o by_o their_o surety_n which_o promise_v when_o they_o come_v to_o age_n themselves_o be_v bind_v to_o perform_v and_o if_o you_o ask_v again_o be_v still_o blameless_a nor_o do_v their_o promise_n become_v lie_n and_o falsehood_n as_o some_o ignorant_a people_n be_v apt_a to_o speak_v for_o it_o be_v here_o to_o be_v note_v that_o they_o be_v perfect_a covenant-promise_n and_o the_o meaning_n of_o they_o be_v that_o the_o child_n shall_v perform_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n or_o else_o forfeit_a and_o loose_v the_o benefit_n of_o it_o and_o thus_o doubt_v not_o good_a sir_n but_o their_o surety_n may_v safe_o promise_v for_o our_o child_n that_o they_o shall_v serve_v god_n true_o all_o the_o day_n of_o their_o
