faith_n be_v increase_v and_o so_o somewhat_o more_o of_o the_o height_n and_o depth_n and_o breadth_n and_o length_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n towards_o he_o he_o know_v which_o much_o heighten_v his_o love_n to_o christ_n again_o now_o remember_v this_o be_v not_o by_o any_o thing_n external_a external_a addition_n to_o a_o thing_n may_v make_v it_o appear_v the_o great_a but_o not_o real_o the_o great_a as_o a_o man_n clothes_n make_v he_o seem_v big_a than_o he_o be_v yet_o he_o be_v the_o same_o in_o they_o and_o out_o of_o they_o no_o big_a at_o all_o there_o be_v very_o great_a difference_n between_o a_o weight_n hang_v upon_o a_o clock_n the_o more_o weight_n the_o more_o the_o motion_n be_v hasten_v and_o a_o child_n that_o go_v but_o timerous_o and_o weak_o it_o be_v here_o a_o man_n grace_n be_v the_o same_o the_o same_o habit_n of_o faith_n and_o of_o love_n but_o grow_v much_o strong_a as_o in_o the_o case_n of_o thomas_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o disciple_n you_o see_v it_o it_o be_v the_o same_o that_o be_v a_o tender_a plant_n and_o now_o be_v become_v a_o strong_a oak_n or_o cedar_n only_o now_o it_o be_v more_o root_v then_o before_o and_o grow_v up_o and_o spread_v itself_o though_o a_o child_n of_o god_n have_v many_o shake_n with_o contrary_a wind_n temptation_n and_o false_a doctrine_n and_o sometime_o his_o knowledge_n may_v be_v corrupt_v and_o sometime_o his_o faith_n may_v be_v shake_v yet_o i_o believe_v he_o be_v never_o pluck_v up_o by_o the_o root_n and_o then_o plant_v again_o when_o once_o he_o have_v receive_v that_o grace_n and_o obtain_v that_o mercy_n to_o be_v faithful_a to_o believe_v and_o have_v the_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n implant_v in_o the_o soul_n these_o be_v never_o destroy_v altogether_o once_o alive_a to_o god_n and_o that_o life_n never_o fail_v because_o the_o principle_n the_o fountain_n of_o it_o that_o feed_v it_o never_o fail_v the_o seed_n of_o god_n abide_v as_o the_o apostle_n say_v it_o be_v true_a there_o may_v be_v sickness_n and_o weakness_n and_o wound_n and_o distemper_n that_o may_v 14._o hinder_v the_o growth_n of_o a_o child_n but_o yet_o he_o live_v and_o grow_v afterward_o again_o yea_o more_o than_o he_o do_v before_o haply_o and_o this_o be_v the_o case_n and_o though_o david_n and_o peter_n break_v their_o bone_n though_o they_o be_v sore_o shake_v yet_o same_o stay_n for_o proportion_n and_o grow_v dry_a indeed_o and_o rot_a and_o fit_a for_o burn_v and_o so_o there_o must_v be_v life_n in_o a_o man_n before_o he_o grow_v when_o he_o be_v dead_a all_o growth_n cease_v there_o be_v nothing_o but_o dissolution_n upon_o dissolution_n then_o and_o so_o it_o be_v in_o this_o case_n there_o must_v be_v a_o root_n a_o plant_n into_o christ_n a_o graft_n into_o he_o by_o his_o engraft_a word_n before_o we_o can_v grow_v up_o in_o he_o we_o must_v be_v one_o with_o christ_n for_o 21._o you_o know_v that_o which_o have_v no_o root_n wither_v they_o be_v in_o covenant_n with_o god_n for_o my_o own_o part_n i_o see_v not_o the_o pretend_a difference_n but_o if_o there_o be_v any_o advantage_n in_o the_o visibility_n of_o be_v in_o covenant_n with_o god_n i_o take_v it_o upon_o this_o hand_n for_o i_o do_v and_o shall_v make_v more_o of_o a_o word_n of_o god_n where_o the_o lord_n have_v say_v it_o that_o they_o be_v his_o in_o new_a and_o the_o thrive_a way_n and_o wanton_a in_o apparel_n be_v there_o not_o as_o many_o slave_n to_o pride_n to_o vanity_n to_o self_n as_o there_o be_v then_o to_o the_o lust_n of_o other_o man_n i_o beseech_v you_o which_o be_v the_o worse_o to_o be_v at_o the_o mercy_n of_o another_o man_n lust_n which_o can_v but_o reach_v the_o body_n and_o effect_v our_o sorrow_n for_o a_o time_n or_o the_o mercy_n of_o our_o own_o merciless_a lust_n which_o will_v work_v our_o woe_n and_o ruin_v o_o therefore_o look_v to_o this_o then_o if_o set_v at_o liberty_n sly_a sin_n as_o he_o say_v to_o lot_n fly_v for_o thy_o life_n etc._n etc._n sly_a fornication_n 6._o and_o youthful_a lust_n etc._n etc._n say_v the_o apostle_n the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o exhortation_n than_o shall_v be_v to_o take_v heed_n 16._o how_o we_o abuse_v this_o our_o liberty_n as_o say_v the_o apostle_n not_o use_v our_o liberty_n as_o a_o cloak_n of_o malitiousness_n haply_o allude_v to_o the_o manner_n of_o person_n the_o apostle_n scope_n in_o that_o place_n lead_v we_o to_o one_o part_n 13._o of_o the_o sense_n of_o this_o abuse_n of_o our_o liberty_n and_o that_o be_v to_o think_v they_o be_v so_o free_a now_o that_o they_o need_v not_o have_v their_o neck_n under_o the_o yoke_n of_o man_n at_o all_o for_o that_o go_v before_o exhort_v they_o to_o submit_v themselves_o to_o every_o ordinance_n of_o man_n for_o the_o lord_n sake_n to_o be_v subject_a to_o the_o high_a power_n and_o subordinate_a power_n be_v very_o consistent_a with_o this_o spiritual_a freedom_n be_v there_o ever_o any_o so_o free_a as_o our_o saviour_n who_o be_v the_o son_n that_o make_v we_o free_a and_o yet_o 51._o do_v not_o he_o submit_v submit_v to_o his_o parent_n be_v subject_a to_o they_o and_o subject_a to_o the_o power_n under_o which_o he_o live_v because_o his_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n and_o will_v it_o suit_n with_o the_o head_n and_o will_v it_o not_o suit_n with_o the_o member_n but_o i_o hope_v i_o need_v not_o speak_v much_o to_o this_o but_o there_o be_v much_o more_o wherein_o we_o may_v abuse_v our_o liberty_n as_o child_n by_o a_o carry_v it_o froward_o and_o rebellious_o against_o their_o parent_n upon_o pretence_n of_o liberty_n and_o servant_n that_o be_v under_o the_o yoke_n it_o may_v be_v think_v they_o may_v do_v much_o in_o this_o case_n more_o than_o they_o have_v warrant_v to_o do_v because_o they_o be_v free_a it_o may_v be_v and_o their_o master_n haply_o in_o bondage_n under_o sin_n therefore_o shall_v they_o despise_v they_o no_o but_o count_v they_o worthy_a of_o all_o 1._o honour_n serve_v they_o in_o singleness_n of_o heart_n as_o unto_o christ_n not_o for_o by-respect_n and_o end_n for_o fear_v of_o their_o displeasure_n but_o for_o christ_n sake_n to_o do_v it_o this_o be_v freedom_n indeed_o but_o to_o speak_v a_o little_a more_o general_o many_o man_n think_v when_o once_o they_o have_v get_v their_o neck_n out_o of_o the_o yoke_n from_o under_o that_o bondage_n and_o those_o fear_n that_o they_o have_v be_v under_o they_o think_v now_o they_o be_v at_o liberty_n they_o be_v pass_v
