thereupon_o he_o tell_v the_o fable_n of_o the_o member_n and_o the_o belly_n how_o that_o they_o fall_v foul_a with_o it_o complain_v that_o they_o be_v fain_o to_o labour_n and_o take_v pain_n to_o maintain_v that_o while_o that_o only_o spend_v what_o they_o get_v whereupon_o they_o withdraw_v their_o wont_a allowance_n which_o have_v do_v in_o conclusion_n by_o pine_v it_o they_o starve_v themselves_o and_o by_o this_o argument_n take_v from_o the_o communion_n betwixt_o the_o member_n of_o the_o natural_a body_n he_o appease_v that_o tumult_n and_o reduce_v they_o to_o due_a subjection_n let_v the_o like_a argument_n be_v useful_a unto_o christian_n in_o a_o like_a way_n be_v it_o so_o that_o other_o have_v gift_n and_o office_n in_o the_o church_n for_o that_o i_o have_v now_o proper_o to_o deal_v with_o above_o themselves_o let_v they_o not_o envy_v they_o repine_v and_o murmur_v at_o they_o so_o do_v the_o israelite_n at_o moses_n and_o aaron_n of_o who_o the_o psalmist_n tell_v we_o psal_n 116.16_o they_o envy_v moses_n in_o the_o camp_n and_o aaron_n the_o saint_n of_o the_o lord_n this_o do_v corah_n and_o his_o confederate_n as_o you_o may_v read_v it_o numb_a 16.2_o they_o envy_v moses_n as_o a_o magistrate_n and_o aaron_n as_o a_o minister_n one_o set_v apart_o for_o the_o priesthood_n and_o how_o many_o be_v there_o who_o as_o if_o they_o have_v take_v a_o pattern_n by_o they_o do_v the_o very_a like_a at_o this_o day_n they_o envy_n moses_n and_o aaron_n the_o magistrate_n and_o the_o minister_n and_o why_o because_o they_o be_v the_o one_o in_o the_o commonwealth_n the_o other_o in_o the_o church_n advance_v above_o themselves_o but_o this_o let_v not_o any_o of_o you_o do_v no_o reason_n you_o shall_v what_o they_o have_v be_v for_o your_o good_a he_o be_v the_o minister_n of_o god_n to_o thou_o for_o good_a say_v paul_n of_o the_o magistrate_n rom._n 13_o 4._o and_o it_o be_v no_o less_o true_a of_o the_o minister_n you_o and_o they_o be_v member_n of_o the_o same_o body_n and_o be_v so_o you_o be_v member_n one_o of_o another_o and_o therefore_o no_o reason_n you_o shall_v envy_v one_o another_o so_o the_o apostle_n himself_o make_v use_v of_o this_o very_a argument_n in_o that_o text_n which_o i_o have_v and_o shall_v have_v the_o frequenter_a recourse_n unto_o in_o as_o much_o as_o as_o pareus_n say_v of_o it_o it_o may_v serve_v as_o a_o commentary_n upon_o this_o i_o have_v now_o in_o hand_n 1_o cor._n 12._o where_n have_v to_o deal_v with_o some_o who_o envy_v the_o office_n or_o gift_n of_o some_o other_o be_v ready_a thereupon_o through_o discontent_a to_o fall_v off_o and_o separate_v from_o the_o church_n he_o tell_v they_o ver_fw-la 14_o the_o body_n be_v not_o one_o member_n but_o many_o if_o the_o foot_n shall_v say_v because_o i_o be_o not_o the_o hand_n i_o be_o not_o of_o the_o body_n be_v it_o therefore_o not_o of_o the_o body_n and_o if_o the_o ear_n shall_v say_v because_o i_o of_o necessity_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o disparity_n and_o difference_n among_o the_o member_n as_o of_o the_o natural_a so_o of_o the_o mystical_a body_n so_o it_o follow_v ver_fw-la 17_o 18_o 19_o for_o if_o the_o whole_a body_n be_v a_o eye_n where_o be_v the_o hear_n if_o the_o whole_a be_v hear_v where_o be_v the_o smell_v but_o now_o have_v god_n set_v the_o member_n every_o one_o of_o they_o in_o the_o body_n as_o it_o please_v he_o and_o if_o they_o be_v all_o one_o member_n where_o be_v the_o body_n let_v the_o consideration_n hereof_o for_o ever_o lay_v this_o evil_a spirit_n of_o envy_n church-member_n be_v member_n of_o the_o same_o body_n they_o be_v member_n one_o of_o another_o and_o be_v so_o what_o any_o one_o have_v be_v useful_a to_o the_o rest_n and_o therefore_o let_v they_o not_o envy_v one_o another_o there_o be_v a_o first_o instruction_n 2._o while_o they_o do_v not_o envy_v let_v they_o not_o disdain_v one_o another_o another_o 2._o not_o disdain_v one_o another_o a_o useful_a and_o needful_a lesson_n for_o superior_n such_o as_o god_n have_v prefer_v and_o advance_v above_o their_o brethren_n betru_v they_o with_o office_n honour_v they_o with_o gift_n or_o with_o success_n in_o their_o labour_n or_o in_o any_o other_o way_n above_o their_o brethren_n let_v not_o they_o disdain_v inferior_n despise_v they_o insult_v over_o they_o think_v mean_o of_o they_o look_v overly_o upon_o they_o thus_o as_o the_o history_n tell_v we_o that_o matchless_a philistine_n look_v upon_o david_n when_o he_o see_v he_o be_v but_o a_o youth_n a_o stripling_n a_o child_n in_o comparison_n of_o he_o he_o disdain_v he_o say_v the_o text_n 1_o sam._n 17.42_o and_o true_o thus_o superior_n both_o in_o church_n and_o state_n be_v subject_a to_o look_v upon_o their_o inferior_n man_n of_o great_a estate_n be_v subject_a to_o despise_v their_o poor_a brethren_n though_o rich_o in_o faith_n then_o themselves_o so_o saint_n
