he_o say_v that_o sacrament_n be_v strong_a meat_n which_o weak_a christian_n be_v not_o able_a to_o digest_v and_o that_o they_o be_v seal_n of_o faith_n only_o he_o deny_v the_o sacrament_n to_o be_v a_o convert_v ordinance_n because_o then_o heathen_n shall_v come_v etc._n etc._n and_o will_v not_o have_v the_o unregenerate_a christian_n to_o come_v under_o any_o duty_n but_o what_o be_v convert_v he_o affirm_v that_o in_o a_o unlearned_a congregation_n a_o single_a minister_n may_v suspend_v from_o the_o sacrament_n he_o be_v the_o roll_a part_n of_o the_o church_n etc._n etc._n least_o he_o can_v make_v good_a suspension_n from_o the_o sacrament_n more_o than_o from_o any_o other_o part_n of_o holy_a communion_n in_o sacred_a worship_n i_o mean_v of_o church-member_n of_o year_n of_o discretion_n as_o the_o question_n be_v state_v he_o must_v not_o think_v that_o the_o authority_n of_o man_n will_v carry_v the_o thing_n it_o be_v a_o business_n of_o this_o have_v not_o so_o much_o as_o a_o name_n nor_o the_o lineament_n of_o a_o office_n know_v in_o scripture_n and_o it_o be_v a_o business_n of_o the_o like_a difficulty_n to_o prove_v lay_v rulere_fw-la in_o the_o church_n distinct_a from_o ministerial_a ruler_n as_o to_o prove_v juridical_a suspension_n from_o the_o sacrament_n only_o distinct_a from_o excommunication_n i_o query_n whether_o in_o suspend_v of_o member_n from_o the_o sacrament_n their_o proceed_n be_v according_a to_o that_o know_a rule_n matth._n 18.15_o 16_o 17_o etc._n etc._n and_o how_o they_o can_v apply_v
shall_v be_v reform_v from_o their_o evil_n otherways_o the_o minister_n and_o church_n may_v partake_v of_o those_o sin_n though_o they_o never_o come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n but_o this_o be_v a_o in_o ephes_n 5.2_o 3_o 4._o the_o place_n that_o this_o argument_n stand_v upon_o we_o be_v not_o to_o reform_v such_o offender_n in_o those_o lawful_a thing_n they_o be_v but_o to_o reform_v they_o from_o the_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a course_n that_o they_o offend_v in_o i_o grant_v that_o if_o any_o in_o the_o church_n shall_v pollute_v the_o holy_a sign_n of_o bread_n and_o wine_n to_o profane_a end_n in_o a_o mere_a carnal_a eat_n and_o drink_v unto_o excess_n as_o the_o corinthian_n do_v and_o be_v punish_v for_o or_o if_o by_o any_o rude_a profane_a carriage_n or_o misdemeanour_n baptize_v now_o i_o say_v if_o that_o authority_n which_o be_v quote_v by_o mr._n collins_n will_v not_o reach_v these_o case_n they_o be_v but_o little_a for_o his_o purpose_n they_o will_v not_o speak_v to_o the_o clear_n of_o the_o controversy_n in_o hand_n beside_o humane_a authority_n only_o will_v not_o satisfy_v the_o conscience_n of_o the_o doubtful_a it_o be_v only_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n that_o must_v satisfy_v conscience_n and_o be_v bind_v unto_o all_o and_o as_o it_o be_v apparent_a the_o ancient_a church_n do_v err_v in_o their_o extremity_n of_o rigour_n in_o their_o censure_n in_o respect_n of_o length_n of_o time_n so_o it_o be_v possible_a enough_o they_o may_v err_v in_o their_o several_a degree_n of_o censure_n not_o so_o much_o their_o practice_n as_o the_o ground_n thereof_o from_o scripture_n rule_n will_v give_v satisfaction_n to_o those_o that_o doubt_n beside_o these_o let_v mr._n collins_n give_v we_o authority_n of_o any_o will_v debar_v they_o the_o sacrament_n by_o these_o and_o the_o like_a query_n i_o hope_v we_o shall_v hear_v by_o some_o of_o the_o presbyterian_a judgement_n or_o other_o by_o what_o authority_n they_o practise_v so_o many_o thing_n not_o to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n but_o i_o find_v mr._n collins_n in_o his_o book_n pag._n 157._o make_v some_o apology_n for_o themselves_o he_o confess_v their_o present_a practice_n do_v differ_v from_o other_o reform_a settle_a church_n as_o to_o the_o suspension_n of_o any_o they_o admit_v they_o agree_v with_o other_o and_o will_v examination_n and_o a_o explicit_a profession_n of_o faith_n as_o their_o duty_n what_o will_v he_o call_v that_o if_o it_o be_v not_o suspension_n proper_o what_o be_v it_o then_o the_o punishment_n former_a may_v with_o good_a conscience_n be_v charge_v upon_o your_o way_n 1._o superstition_n because_o you_o urge_v upon_o all_o you_o admit_v duty_n of_o necessity_n that_o god_n no_o where_o
