object_n in_o worship_n to_o strike_v on_o and_o affect_v their_o sense_n but_o however_o this_o may_v make_v impression_n on_o the_o grosser_n rabble_n yet_o certain_o any_o that_o consider_v that_o the_o perfection_n of_o man_n lie_v in_o his_o reason_n and_o not_o in_o his_o outward_a sense_n and_o that_o the_o exaltation_n of_o reason_n be_v religion_n he_o must_v confess_v that_o the_o less_o to_o he_o and_o therefore_o do_v neither_o worship_v they_o their_o image_n nor_o their_o relic_n we_o desire_v also_o to_o offer_v up_o to_o god_n such_o sacrifice_n as_o we_o know_v be_v well-pleasing_a to_o he_o prayer_n praise_n break_a and_o contrite_a heart_n and_o our_o soul_n and_o body_n but_o reject_v all_o charm_n and_o enchantment_n from_o our_o worship_n as_o contrary_a to_o the_o reasonable_a service_n which_o be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n and_o do_v retain_v the_o genuine_a simplicity_n of_o the_o gospel-worship_n in_o a_o plain_a and_o intelligible_a stile_n and_o
