affection_n as_o understanding_n love_n hate_n joy_n etc._n etc._n but_o by_o put_v away_o and_o purge_v out_o the_o evil_a quality_n in_o these_o and_o the_o like_a and_o by_o create_v a_o new_a holy_a quality_n in_o they_o acceptable_a to_o god_n and_o agreeable_a to_o his_o word_n that_o now_o the_o understanding_n shall_v be_v capable_a of_o good_a thing_n and_o the_o stream_n of_o our_o affection_n turn_v to_o the_o right_a object_n as_o to_o hate_v evil_a to_o love_v goodness_n and_o to_o rejoice_v in_o it_o we_o be_v to_o understand_v also_o that_o this_o in_o nature_n be_v after_o justification_n as_o paul_n recite_v they_o who_o he_o justifi_v 8.31_o rom._n 8.31_o he_o glorifi_v that_o be_v he_o glorious_o renew_v which_o be_v begin_v here_o perfect_v in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v &_o yet_o i_o confess_v the_o repentance_n be_v sometime_o put_v before_o remission_n of_o sin_n not_o that_o in_o nature_n but_o because_o in_o our_o sense_n and_o feel_v it_o be_v first_o for_o first_o we_o feel_v the_o burden_n of_o our_o sin_n 5.31_o mark_v 1.13_o act_n 5.31_o and_o then_o we_o be_v ease_v and_o refresh_v by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o also_o repentance_n be_v name_v in_o the_o first_o place_n because_o it_o be_v first_o to_o be_v teach_v that_o we_o may_v desire_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n yet_o in_o nature_n faith_n which_o purify_v the_o heart_n be_v first_o though_o in_o time_n there_o be_v no_o difference_n for_o our_o union_n with_o christ_n and_o our_o partake_n of_o his_o merit_n to_o justification_n and_o of_o his_o spirit_n to_o sanctification_n be_v wrought_v at_o the_o same_o time_n even_o as_o the_o sun_n and_o his_o beam_n use_v 1_o as_o the_o sun_n be_v declare_v by_o his_o light_n the_o tree_n by_o his_o fruit_n so_o by_o thy_o sanctification_n demonstrate_v thy_o justification_n etc._n etc._n use_v 2._o boast_v not_o of_o thy_o heart_n while_o thy_o life_n be_v profane_a neither_o content_n thyself_o with_o a_o outward_a show_n of_o holiness_n have_v a_o evil_a conscience_n etc._n rom._n 12.2_o 2._o cor._n 7.1_o etc._n etc._n for_o sanctification_n be_v the_o renew_n of_o the_o mind_n yea_o of_o the_o whole_a man_n and_o therefore_o labour_v to_o grow_v up_o into_o a_o full_a holiness_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o of_o the_o spirit_n quest_n be_v sanctification_n conversion_n or_o repentance_n so_o
