notion_n of_o god_n rather_o frame_v in_o our_o imagination_n a_o idol_n than_o the_o true_a god_n as_o there_o be_v nothing_o do_v more_o lively_o represent_v the_o unbelief_n of_o our_o heart_n than_o the_o multitude_n of_o promise_n man_n that_o consider_v such_o frequent_a repetition_n of_o one_o thing_n in_o scripture_n so_o many_o diverse_a expression_n of_o one_o god_n may_v retire_v into_o their_o own_o heart_n and_o find_v the_o cause_n of_o it_o even_o the_o necessity_n of_o it_o but_o while_o we_o look_v so_o slight_o on_o these_o we_o must_v judge_v it_o superfluous_a and_o vain_a need_v there_o any_o more_o to_o be_v say_v but_o i_o be_o your_o god_n i_o be_o god_n if_o our_o spirit_n be_v not_o so_o far_o degenerate_v unto_o atheism_n and_o unbelief_n certain_o that_o word_n jehovah_n hold_v forth_o more_o to_o angel_n then_o all_o the_o inculcate_v name_n and_o title_n of_o god_n to_o we_o because_o we_o be_v dull_a and_o slow_a of_o heart_n therefore_o wonder_v at_o these_o two_o when_o you_o read_v the_o scripture_n god_n condescendency_n to_o we_o and_o our_o atheism_n and_o unbelief_n of_o he_o they_o be_v both_o mystery_n and_o exceed_v broad_a there_o be_v not_o a_o name_n of_o god_n but_o it_o give_v we_o a_o name_n and_o that_o of_o reproach_n and_o dishonour_n so_o that_o for_o every_o one_o some_o evil_n may_v be_v write_v down_o and_o it_o be_v to_o this_o purpose_n moses_n draw_v they_o out_o in_o length_n that_o in_o the_o glass_n of_o his_o glorious_a name_n the_o people_n may_v behold_v their_o own_o ugly_a face_n this_o name_n be_v clear_a he_o be_v a_o god_n of_o truth_n not_o only_o a_o true_a god_n but_o truth_n itself_o to_o note_v his_o excellency_n and_o eminency_n in_o it_o it_o be_v christ_n name_n i_o be_o the_o truth_n the_o substantial_a truth_n in_o who_o all_o the_o promise_n be_v truth_n be_v yea_o and_o amen_o his_o truth_n be_v his_o faithfulness_n in_o perform_v his_o promise_n
thou_o come_v to_o he_o where_o shall_v thou_o have_v it_o will_v thou_o find_v it_o in_o thy_o heart_n which_o be_v desperate_o wicked_a will_v thou_o seek_v it_o of_o god_n and_o not_o seek_v it_o have_v forget_v it_o it_o be_v not_o recent_a in_o their_o memory_n and_o make_v no_o present_a wound_n in_o their_o conscience_n and_o therefore_o they_o apprehend_v god_n such_o as_o themselves_o
