superstition_n and_o idolatry_n although_o our_o church_n have_v not_o order_v her_o public_a worship_n so_o discreet_o and_o careful_o but_o that_o in_o sundry_a thing_n it_o may_v be_v reform_v to_o depart_v from_o the_o plain_a truth_n of_o reason_n and_o christianity_n and_o contradict_v the_o plain_a word_n and_o law_n of_o god_n though_o it_o may_v happen_v that_o a_o man_n may_v do_v so_o to_o meddle_v in_o add_v to_o or_o take_v from_o the_o faith_n and_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o though_o they_o appeal_v to_o private_a person_n that_o they_o do_v not_o in_o fact_n usurp_v a_o authority_n to_o this_o purpose_n which_o they_o profess_v to_o disclaim_v yet_o in_o these_o indifferent_a thing_n they_o claim_v a_o power_n to_o add_v or_o diminish_v or_o to_o make_v such_o expedient_a alteration_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a to_o be_v make_v and_o this_o without_o be_v any_o way_n accountable_a to_o the_o people_n for_o their_o discretion_n in_o so_o do_v before_o doctrine_n in_o order_n to_o her_o communion_n which_o a_o good_a christian_n have_v reason_n to_o suspect_v and_o this_o make_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o the_o term_n of_o communion_n with_o our_o church_n and_o the_o term_n thereof_o with_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n which_o require_v the_o profession_n of_o gross_a and_o palpable_a error_n of_o all_o who_o she_o admit_v to_o her_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n also_o between_o those_o ground_n upon_o which_o they_o and_o we_o pretend_v against_o that_o church_n the_o unlawfulness_n of_o her_o imposition_n and_o those_o upon_o which_o they_o suspect_v the_o like_a of_o we_o and_o that_o be_v that_o the_o roman_a church_n be_v by_o we_o attack_v with_o clear_a and_o unquestionable_a evidence_n of_o reason_n and_o scripture_n against_o she_o but_o that_o it_o remain_v doubtful_a whether_o there_o be_v any_o good_a evidence_n in_o scripture_n against_o we_o concern_v which_o more_o will_v be_v say_v under_o shall_v be_v no_o such_o practice_n we_o may_v sign_n the_o baptise_a insant_n with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n and_o yet_o not_o worship_n that_o sign_n we_o may_v do_v the_o former_a in_o token_n of_o the_o obligation_n which_o baptism_n lay_v upon_o we_o without_o attribute_v any_o of_o that_o virtue_n or_o efficacy_n thereunto_o which_o make_v the_o popish_a use_n of_o it_o foolish_a
