crucify_a to_o the_o world_n and_o the_o world_n to_o they_o sect_n xxv_o use_v 2._o from_o hence_o also_o many_o disconsolate_a christian_n may_v see_v their_o error_n who_o can_v glory_n in_o a_o mortify_v state_n they_o can_v see_v matter_n of_o comfort_n in_o a_o state_n of_o exaltation_n when_o they_o perceive_v themselves_o prosper_v in_o all_o that_o they_o undertake_v and_o find_v a_o present_a answer_n of_o their_o prayer_n and_o enjoy_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n but_o to_o be_v crucify_a to_o the_o world_n and_o the_o world_n to_o they_o do_v seem_v to_o they_o but_o a_o uncomfortable_a state_n and_o they_o can_v see_v the_o greatness_n of_o the_o mercy_n it_o be_v easy_a to_o perceive_v the_o excellency_n of_o those_o mercy_n that_o participate_v of_o the_o ultimate_a end_n and_o be_v know_v by_o proper_a fruition_n and_o have_v nothing_o in_o they_o but_o pure_a sweetness_n and_o delight_n and_o therefore_o a_o state_n of_o joy_n declare_v itself_o but_o as_o for_o those_o mercy_n that_o have_v the_o nature_n of_o a_o mean_n who_o excellency_n be_v in_o order_n to_o their_o end_n and_o those_o that_o have_v some_o wholesome_a bitterness_n mix_v because_o they_o be_v less_o grateful_a to_o sense_n and_o value_v only_o by_o faith_n therefore_o we_o be_v too_o prone_a to_o overlook_v their_o worth_n and_o to_o neglect_v the_o comfort_n which_o the_o consideration_n of_o they_o may_v afford_v we_o and_o so_o to_o deny_v god_n the_o thanks_o that_o be_v his_o due_n every_o sensual_a man_n can_v rejoice_v in_o the_o have_v and_o enjoy_v of_o outward_a prosperity_n and_o every_o christian_a can_v rejoice_v in_o the_o fruition_n of_o god_n whether_o in_o foretaste_n here_o or_o in_o fullness_n hereafter_o but_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o absence_n of_o worldly_a prosperity_n in_o that_o we_o be_v dead_a to_o it_o and_o have_v learned_a to_o set_v light_n by_o it_o and_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o absence_n of_o god_n in_o that_o we_o have_v heart_n that_o be_v set_v upon_o he_o and_o can_v be_v satisfy_v without_o he_o and_o be_v desire_v after_o he_o and_o in_o progress_n towards_o he_o and_o hope_v ere_o long_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v with_o he_o this_o be_v the_o joy_n that_o must_v be_v expect_v by_o believer_n here_o on_o earth_n though_o a_o enjoy_v foretaste_n may_v now_o and_o then_o afford_v they_o a_o feast_n yet_o be_v it_o this_o believe_v desire_v seek_v joy_n that_o must_v be_v their_o ordinary_a sustentation_n and_o if_o in_o this_o world_n they_o have_v no_o other_o they_o have_v cause_n to_o be_v some_o of_o the_o ungodly_a under_o the_o terror_n of_o their_o conscience_n and_o of_o true_a christian_n that_o know_v not_o their_o own_o sincerity_n or_o be_v under_o some_o great_a desertion_n of_o god_n to_o be_v out_o of_o all_o hope_n and_o possibility_n of_o joy_n be_v the_o part_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o damn_a man_n but_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o true_a mortification_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o in_o the_o holy_a contempt_n of_o worldly_a thing_n and_o in_o the_o desire_n and_o hope_n of_o the_o glory_n to_o come_v this_o be_v the_o part_n of_o the_o saint_n on_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o present_a joy_n that_o come_v by_o believe_v and_o this_o kind_n of_o joy_n be_v most_o suitable_a to_o our_o present_a condition_n as_o fruition_n be_v suitable_a to_o our_o heavenly_a end_n the_o comfort_n of_o traveller_n be_v not_o of_o the_o same_o kind_n with_o those_o of_o a_o man_n that_o be_v at_o home_n he_o that_o be_v at_o home_n will_v have_v his_o wealth_n about_o he_o but_o you_o will_v not_o carry_v your_o house_n with_o you_o in_o your_o journey_n nor_o will_v you_o drive_v your_o cattle_n with_o you_o or_o carry_v all_o your_o good_n and_o riches_n with_o you_o a_o traveler_n will_v have_v as_o fair_a a_o way_n as_o he_o can_v get_v and_o as_o good_a a_o guiâ—e_n and_o necessary_n for_o his_o journey_n and_o no_o more_o but_o all_o the_o rest_n he_o will_v have_v at_o home_n that_o he_o may_v find_v it_o when_o he_o come_v thither_o it_o be_v his_o benefit_n in_o the_o way_n to_o want_v no_o more_o and_o to_o have_v no_o more_o for_o the_o more_o he_o
