all_o papist_n from_o be_v in_o commission_n and_o if_o they_o shall_v at_o any_o time_n be_v so_o declare_v their_o commission_n void_a and_o all_o they_o do_v in_o pursuance_n of_o they_o null_a that_o former_a parliamentary_a doctrine_n therefore_o be_v expound_v by_o this_o after_o commentary_n upon_o it_o from_o the_o same_o authority_n which_o first_o express_o teach_v it_o but_o as_o to_o the_o proper_a judgement_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n declare_v by_o themselves_o in_o any_o act_n or_o record_n extant_a it_o be_v vain_a to_o seek_v for_o any_o resolution_n in_o this_o precedent_n and_o fellow_n of_o magdalen_n college_n be_v not_o want_v to_o their_o duty_n of_o nonresistance_n nor_o misunderstand_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o be_v church_n when_o they_o so_o notable_o plead_v their_o right_n in_o law_n against_o the_o usurpation_n of_o prorogation_n to_o the_o utmost_a and_o thereby_o and_o by_o their_o suffering_n for_o it_o stop_v the_o career_n thereof_o from_o its_o triumphant_a progress_n throughout_o the_o nation_n and_o as_o to_o what_o other_o resistance_n have_v since_o be_v make_v by_o a_o too_o unreasonable_o provoke_v nation_n together_o with_o the_o consequent_n of_o it_o how_o far_o the_o natural_a duty_n of_o self-preservation_n even_o by_o arm_n against_o outrageous_a illegal_a violence_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o government_n and_o subjection_n in_o all_o political_a society_n govern_v by_o law_n together_o with_o the_o fundamental_a constitution_n of_o this_o monarchy_n etc._n etc._n plead_v on_o their_o behalf_n will_v justify_v those_o that_o have_v have_v a_o hand_n in_o it_o in_o such_o a_o case_n of_o extreme_a necessity_n i_o can_v find_v determinable_a from_o any_o public_a record_n of_o this_o church_n to_o be_v sure_a it_o much_o concern_v not_o our_o dissatisfied_a brethren_n case_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v determine_v see_v none_o of_o they_o have_v any_o way_n contribute_v to_o any_o that_o of_o passive_a obedience_n it_o can_v sure_o be_v no_o far_o a_o duty_n in_o this_o case_n than_o nonresistance_n be_v for_o this_o be_v the_o necessary_a consequent_a of_o that_o who_o i_o must_v in_o no_o sort_n resist_v i_o must_v consequent_o submit_v to_o suffer_v under_o in_o whatsoever_o he_o lay_v upon_o i_o and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n so_o far_o as_o i_o may_v lawful_o resist_v i_o be_o not_o bind_v to_o suffer_v as_o in_o the_o case_n of_o the_o great_a and_o reverend_a person_n but_o now_o mention_v who_o take_v shelter_n in_o the_o law_n so_o far_o as_o it_o will_v be_v allow_v they_o and_o then_o only_o suffer_v when_o it_o will_v stand_v they_o in_o no_o far_a stead_n for_o otherwise_o it_o seem_v too_o high_a a_o strain_n of_o passive_a obedience_n and_o more_o than_o religion_n or_o reason_n require_v for_o any_o one_o patient_o to_o quit_v the_o defence_n which_o god_n and_o law_n allow_v he_o yea_o and_o the_o very_a law_n themselves_o which_o allow_v they_o to_o he_o that_o he_o may_v gain_v a_o opportunity_n to_o exercise_v his_o patience_n
