be_v without_o resistance_n to_o submit_v to_o such_o penalty_n under_o the_o danger_n of_o sedition_n which_o be_v there_o no_o law_n we_o be_v free_a from_o again_o this_o thesis_n of_o he_o be_v misapply_v for_o thence_o he_o infer_v three_o that_o have_v make_v this_o protestation_n we_o ought_v to_o have_v no_o communion_n with_o the_o aforesaid_a particular_n notwithstanding_o they_o be_v confirm_v by_o law_n which_o inference_n be_v therefore_o faulty_a because_o the_o protestation_n be_v only_o against_o popery_n as_o it_o be_v against_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n and_o that_o which_o be_v confirm_v by_o our_o law_n though_o it_o be_v popery_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o popery_n opposite_a to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n if_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n and_o the_o doctrine_n of_o our_o church_n have_v their_o establishment_n in_o different_a court_n then_o that_o which_o be_v establish_v by_o law_n may_v be_v against_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n but_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n and_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n have_v both_o their_o establishment_n in_o parliament_n what_o be_v confirm_v by_o law_n can_v be_v popery_n against_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n and_o therefore_o this_o author_n argue_v must_v needs_o be_v irrational_a but_o now_o we_o be_v furnish_v with_o a_o second_o objection_n which_o we_o be_v to_o consider_v of_o and_o whether_o this_o author_n have_v with_o any_o better_a success_n take_v of_o than_o he_o have_v the_o former_a what_o say_v he_o if_o the_o parliament_n they_o what_o ridiculous_a dispute_v then_o be_v this_o but_o hence_o i_o argue_v if_o the_o protestation_n do_v not_o include_v they_o for_o confirmation_n because_o they_o be_v no_o part_n of_o doctrine_n it_o do_v not_o exclude_v they_o for_o abolition_n but_o leave_v they_o for_o determination_n to_o another_o opportunity_n three_o say_v he_o suppose_v that_o at_o the_o first_o make_v of_o the_o protestation_n that_o these_o particular_n be_v not_o mention_v in_o the_o catalogue_n of_o popery_n yet_o no_o good_a christian_n can_v or_o will_v deny_v that_o the_o house_n of_o commons_o do_v not_o at_o all_o intend_v to_o exclude_v what_o ever_o shall_v pertain_v to_o popery_n as_o a_o branch_n thereof_o this_o author_n be_v very_o good_a at_o bold_a assertion_n but_o all_o as_o bad_a in_o confirmation_n for_o what_o a_o good_a christian_a may_v do_v in_o weakness_n i_o will_v not_o determine_v but_o no_o wise_a christian_n as_o far_o as_o i_o can_v conceive_v can_v judge_v that_o what_o ever_o shall_v be_v find_v to_o be_v popery_n be_v include_v in_o this_o protestation_n but_o what_o ever_o be_v find_v to_o be_v popery_n against_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n which_o be_v the_o term_n limit_v popery_n in_o the_o protestation_n four_o he_o argue_v from_o the_o hope_n that_o we_o have_v by_o this_o parliament_n of_o such_o a_o reformation_n as_o will_v not_o deserve_v the_o name_n of_o reformation_n if_o all_o popery_n be_v not_o make_v to_o be_v pack_v i_o join_v with_o he_o in_o all_o comfortable_a hope_n from_o this_o honourable_a house_n but_o what_o be_v this_o to_o his_o matter_n in_o hand_n all_o the_o reformation_n to_o be_v expect_v from_o this_o parliament_n be_v not_o expect_v by_o this_o protestation_n this_o be_v one_o degree_n to_o reform_v whatever_o popery_n or_o innovation_n be_v against_o law_n establish_v this_o do_v the_o parliament_n be_v proceed_v further_o to_o perfect_v hope_v for_o reformation_n by_o remove_v corruption_n establish_v by_o law_n five_o suppose_v say_v he_o that_o it_o can_v be_v imagine_v by_o any_o reasonable_a man_n that_o the_o house_n of_o commons_o have_v no_o thought_n implicit_o to_o include_v the_o foresay_a thing_n in_o the_o farthel_n of_o popery_n shall_v private_a and_o particular_a christian_n know_v these_o to_o be_v popery_n and_o antichristian_a be_v
