in_o the_o say_a ship_n or_o vessel_n whether_o they_o have_v make_v search_n in_o the_o say_a ship_n or_o vessel_n for_o tobacco_n and_o whether_o any_o tobacco_n be_v in_o the_o say_a ship_n or_o vessel_n to_o their_o knowledge_n and_o whether_o any_o tobacco_n be_v lade_v in_o the_o say_a ship_n or_o vessel_n and_o be_v take_v out_o thereof_o and_o what_o be_v become_v of_o the_o same_o and_o if_o any_o master_n of_o a_o ship_n or_o other_o vessel_n shall_v wilful_o or_o negligent_o permit_v or_o suffer_v any_o tobacco_n to_o be_v import_v or_o shall_v otherwise_o offend_v contrary_a to_o these_o present_n every_o such_o master_n because_o it_o be_v in_o his_o power_n to_o prevent_v the_o same_o shall_v also_o be_v answerable_a unto_o we_o for_o his_o contempt_n herein_o and_o shall_v be_v subject_a &_o liable_a to_o all_o the_o pain_n and_o penalty_n aforesaid_a aswell_o as_o if_o he_o himself_o have_v actual_o and_o purposely_o commit_v the_o say_a offence_n and_o whereas_o we_o stranger_n denizen_n or_o natural_a bear_v subject_n presume_v to_o import_v any_o tobacco_n whatsoever_o in_o any_o foreign_a bottom_n at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o upon_o pain_n of_o confiscation_n not_o only_o of_o the_o say_a tobacco_n but_o also_o of_o the_o ship_n or_o vessel_n wherein_o the_o same_o be_v so_o import_v and_o upon_o the_o other_o pain_n and_o penalty_n aforesaid_a and_o for_o custody_n the_o same_o shall_v be_v find_v to_o inform_v and_o complain_v of_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v receive_v punishment_n according_a to_o our_o pleasure_n before_o herein_o declare_v and_o further_o we_o do_v by_o these_o present_n will_v and_o require_v all_o and_o singular_a mayor_n sheriff_n justice_n of_o peace_n bailiff_n constable_n headborough_n customer_n comptroller_n thereof_o shall_v deliver_v the_o same_o to_o our_o use_n and_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v forthwith_o burn_v consume_v and_o destroy_v but_o the_o offendor_n before_o he_o be_v discharge_v shall_v pay_v to_o the_o party_n who_o seize_v the_o say_a tobacco_n the_o one_o half_a of_o the_o true_a value_n thereof_o and_o that_o such_o person_n or_o person_n who_o we_o shall_v appoint_v special_o
