and_o there_o hear_v divine_a service_n and_o at_o service_n time_n before_o the_o sermon_n or_o read_v of_o the_o gospel_n make_v public_a and_o open_a submission_n and_o declaration_n of_o he_o and_o their_o conformity_n to_o her_o majesty_n law_n and_o statute_n as_o in_o this_o act_n be_v hereafter_o declare_v &_o appoint_v that_o then_o the_o same_o offendor_n shall_v thereupon_o be_v clear_o discharge_v of_o and_o from_o all_o the_o penalty_n and_o punishment_n inflict_v or_o impose_v by_o this_o act_n for_o any_o of_o the_o offence_n aforesaid_a provide_v that_o no_o popish_a this_o statute_n if_o he_o do_v not_o require_v it_o if_o a_o lord_n of_o the_o parliament_n do_v confess_v his_o offence_n upon_o his_o arraignment_n or_o do_v abjure_v or_o be_v outlaw_v for_o felony_n it_o seem_v that_o in_o these_o case_n he_o may_v have_v the_o benefit_n of_o this_o statute_n viz._n his_o clergy_n for_o that_o by_o the_o statute_n of_o 18._o elizab._n 6._o he_o nor_o the_o residue_n for_o his_o attainder_n or_o conviction_n be_v upon_o the_o matter_n contain_v in_o the_o appeal_n or_o indictment_n and_o if_o in_o the_o appeal_n or_o indictment_n no_o matter_n be_v contain_v which_o do_v put_v he_o out_o of_o his_o clergy_n than_o it_o can_v be_v say_v that_o he_o be_v attaint_n or_o convict_v of_o any_o matter_n contain_v in_o the_o statute_n which_o shall_v cause_v he_o to_o loose_v the_o benefit_n thereof_o and_o the_o judge_n be_v to_o have_v special_a regard_n and_o consideration_n when_o those_o word_n be_v put_v into_o the_o indictment_n that_o they_o which_o do_v give_v evidence_n do_v prove_v the_o same_o word_n well_o and_o substantial_o prove_v the_o word_n of_o the_o indictment_n to_o be_v prove_v as_o well_o as_o the_o principal_a fact_n and_o if_o they_o do_v not_o the_o judge_n be_v to_o admonish_v the_o jury_n thereof_o viz._n that_o there_o be_v no_o proof_n of_o those_o word_n by_o the_o evidence_n and_o that_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o bind_v to_o find_v they_o if_o they_o do_v not_o know_v they_o of_o their_o own_o knowledge_n or_o otherwise_o for_o default_n of_o good_a examination_n the_o life_n and_o land_n of_o any_o man_n may_v be_v lose_v by_o the_o malice_n of_o another_o which_o will_v put_v false_a word_n in_o a_o indictment_n that_o can_v be_v prove_v by_o evidence_n demand_v when_o clergy_n shall_v be_v demand_v 32_o by_o the_o ancient_a law_n of_o the_o realm_n if_o a_o clerk_n of_o any_o order_n or_o dignity_n have_v be_v take_v for_o the_o death_n of_o a_o man_n or_o other_o felony_n
