c_o r_o diev_n et_fw-fr mon_fw-fr droit_n honi_fw-fr soit_fw-fr qvi_fw-fr mal_fw-fr y_fw-fr pense_fw-fr â§_o by_o the_o king_n ¶_o a_o proclamation_n for_o restraint_n of_o fish_v upon_o his_o majesty_n sea_n and_o coast_n without_o licence_n whereas_o our_o father_n of_o bless_a memory_n king_n james_n do_v in_o the_o seven_o year_n of_o his_o reign_n of_o great_a britain_n set_v forth_o a_o proclamation_n touch_v fish_n whereby_o for_o the_o many_o important_a reason_n therein_o express_v all_o person_n of_o what_o nation_n or_o quality_n soever_o be_v not_o his_o natural_a bear_a subject_n be_v restrain_v from_o fish_v upon_o any_o the_o coast_n and_o sea_n of_o great_a britain_n ireland_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o isle_n adjacent_a where_o most_o usual_o heretofore_o fish_v have_v be_v until_o they_o have_v orderly_o demand_v and_o obtain_v licence_n from_o our_o say_a father_n or_o his_o commissioner_n in_o that_o behalf_n upon_o pain_n of_o such_o chastisement_n as_o shall_v be_v fit_a to_o be_v inflict_v upon_o such_o wilful_a offender_n since_o which_o time_n albeit_o neither_o our_o say_a father_n nor_o ourself_o have_v make_v any_o considerable_a execution_n of_o the_o say_a proclamation_n but_o have_v with_o much_o patience_n expect_v a_o voluntary_a conformity_n of_o our_o neighbour_n and_o ally_n to_o so_o just_a and_o reasonable_a prohibition_n and_o direction_n as_o be_v contain_v in_o the_o same_o and_o now_o find_v by_o experience_n that_o all_o the_o inconvenience_n which_o occasion_v that_o proclamation_n be_v rather_o increase_v then_o abate_v we_o be_v very_o sensible_a of_o the_o premise_n and_o well_o know_v how_o far_o we_o be_v oblige_v in_o honour_n to_o maintain_v the_o right_n of_o our_o crown_n especial_o of_o so_o great_a consequence_n have_v think_v it_o necessary_a by_o the_o advice_n of_o our_o privy_a council_n to_o renew_v the_o aforesaid_a restraint_n of_o fish_v upon_o our_o aforesaid_a coast_n and_o sea_n without_o licence_n first_o obtain_v from_o we_o and_o by_o these_o present_n to_o make_v public_a declaration_n that_o our_o resolution_n be_v at_o time_n convenient_a to_o keep_v such_o a_o competent_a strength_n of_o ship_n upon_o our_o sea_n as_o may_v by_o god_n blessing_n be_v sufficient_a both_o to_o hinder_v such_o further_a encroachment_n upon_o our_o regality_n and_o assist_v and_o protect_v those_o our_o good_a friend_n and_o ally_n who_o shall_v henceforth_o by_o virtue_n of_o our_o licence_n to_o be_v first_o obtain_v endeavour_v to_o take_v the_o benefit_n of_o fish_v upon_o our_o coast_n and_o sea_n in_o the_o place_n accustom_v give_v at_o our_o palace_n of_o westminster_n the_o ten_o day_n of_o may_n in_o the_o twelve_o year_n of_o our_o reign_n of_o england_n scotland_n france_n and_o ireland_n â§_o god_n save_v the_o king_n â§_o imprint_v at_o london_n by_o robert_n barker_n printer_n to_o the_o king_n most_o excellent_a majesty_n and_o by_o the_o assign_v of_o john_n bill_n 1636._o
