our_o manifold_a backslide_n of_o heart_n and_o self-seeking_a our_o not_o mind_v as_o we_o ought_v the_o inward_a work_n of_o reformation_n &_o rest_v too_o much_o on_o the_o out_o side_n of_o duty_n the_o profane_v of_o many_o in_o the_o land_n &_o in_o our_o aâ—my_n and_o many_o other_o transgreshon_n â—or_a these_o thing_n we_o shall_v lie_v low_a in_o the_o dust_n and_o acknowledge_v that_o it_o be_v just_a with_o the_o lord_n to_o leave_v we_o to_o let_v our_o enemy_n prevail_v over_o we_o and_o let_v in_o a_o floodgate_n of_o error_n heresy_n schism_n and_o profaneness_n to_o overflow_v the_o lanâ—_n but_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o fear_n or_o faint_a if_o we_o will_v consider_v that_o the_o lord_n delight_v to_o be_v call_v on_o as_o a_o god_n who_o will_v keep_v covenant_n and_o mercy_n to_o and_o with_o his_o people_n notwithstanding_o their_o fail_n if_o we_o look_v either_o to_o the_o lord_n former_a dispensation_n or_o present_a engagement_n for_o his_o work_n and_o the_o honour_n of_o his_o great_a name_n or_o if_o we_o will_v look_v to_o the_o enemy_n quarrel_n their_o aim_n and_o design_n or_o to_o the_o resolution_n of_o this_o kâ—rk_n and_o
