result_n of_o the_o wisdom_n of_o a_o parliament_n and_o though_o the_o parliament_n may_v consist_v of_o wise_a considerate_a man_n that_o understand_v and_o weigh_v well_o what_o they_o do_v yet_o say_v he_o to_o stop_v the_o wonder_n how_o such_o destructive_a resolution_n can_v pass_v or_o be_v let_v pass_v from_o the_o hand_n of_o authority_n all_o this_o time_n consider_v first_o those_o that_o be_v in_o england_n must_v see_v and_o hear_v by_o these_o eye_n and_o ear_n that_o be_v in_o ireland_n who_o as_o he_o say_v be_v stranger_n to_o that_o land_n and_o can_v not_o at_o the_o first_o sight_n understand_v the_o complete_a interest_n thereof_o second_o the_o face_n of_o thing_n be_v much_o different_a in_o ireland_n and_o though_o then_o necessity_n may_v have_v make_v it_o fit_a to_o have_v transplant_v yet_o now_o the_o unfitness_n make_v it_o not_o necessary_a three_o though_o then_o in_o their_o wisdom_n they_o give_v out_o such_o order_n yet_o in_o their_o goodness_n they_o do_v not_o think_v fit_a to_o execute_v they_o even_o till_o this_o time_n as_o if_o they_o do_v wait_v a_o time_n to_o be_v gracious_a to_o the_o irish_a nation_n these_o thing_n be_v propose_v as_o a_o premonishment_n to_o stop_v wonder_n say_v the_o discussor_n but_o where_o do_v this_o wonder_n lie_v be_v it_o in_o that_o we_o have_v no_o wise_a a_o parliament_n that_o better_o understand_v what_o they_o do_v in_o matter_n of_o so_o great_a importance_n or_o that_o so_o wise_a a_o man_n as_o the_o discussor_n shall_v not_o be_v find_v out_o to_o take_v advice_n from_o it_o be_v my_o opinion_n if_o that_o parliament_n which_o first_o contrive_v and_o agree_v the_o business_n of_o transplantation_n be_v now_o in_o be_v they_o will_v be_v able_a to_o convince_v the_o discussor_n that_o the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o state_n and_o constitution_n of_o ireland_n by_o better_a argument_n than_o i_o can_v use_v be_v rather_o the_o arise_v of_o his_o book_n than_o the_o occasion_n of_o their_o act._n and_o if_o any_o rebellious_a consequence_n shall_v be_v the_o effect_n of_o he_o or_o the_o like_a paper_n in_o such_o a_o nick_n of_o settlement_n i_o doubt_v not_o but_o god_n will_v enable_v that_o authority_n yet_o in_o be_v to_o

have_v as_o visible_o at_o their_o mercy_n and_o dispose_v when_o any_o new_a disturbance_n shall_v arise_v as_o the_o irish_a have_v they_o at_o the_o break_n out_o of_o the_o last_o rebellion_n ireland_n teach_v we_o and_o therefore_o if_o their_o number_n shall_v be_v near_o equal_a that_o advantage_n which_o they_o will_v have_v of_o their_o irish_a neighbour_n to_o correspond_v with_o they_o and_o fall_v into_o their_o assistance_n will_v much_o add_v to_o their_o encouragement_n to_o attempt_v mischief_n upon_o the_o english_a with_o or_o among_o who_o they_o live_v though_o they_o be_v far_o less_o number_n and_o if_o this_o be_v not_o admit_v that_o it_o be_v essential_a in_o order_n to_o the_o safety_n of_o the_o english_a interest_n and_o people_n that_o their_o plantation_n shall_v consist_v of_o many_o more_o english_a than_o irish_a as_o above_o then_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n in_o order_n thereto_o that_o some_o of_o the_o irish_a shall_v be_v discussor_n have_v do_v his_o spend_v my_o pain_n in_o beat_v the_o air_n i_o shall_v only_o speak_v to_o that_o part_n of_o this_o first_o question_n which_o be_v at_o present_a in_o question_n viz._n what_o part_n that_o be_v and_o how_o many_o and_o what_o sort_n of_o person_n be_v fit_a to_o be_v transplant_v first_o as_o to_o the_o number_n that_o be_v require_v to_o remove_v or_o transplant_v i_o judge_v a_o less_o number_n than_o what_o be_v intend_v and_o appoint_v be_v not_o safe_a if_o so_o little_a for_o the_o proprietor_n and_o interest_v person_n in_o land_n with_o all_o relate_n to_o they_o require_v to_o remove_v with_o they_o can_v be_v rational_o judge_v near_o the_o twenty_o part_n of_o the_o people_n of_o ireland_n for_o the_o land_n of_o ireland_n be_v most_o general_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o nobleman_n and_o chief_a gentry_n who_o be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n except_v person_n for_o life_n and_o estate_n or_o under_o banishment_n by_o the_o nothing_o more_o desirable_a as_o to_o the_o peace_n of_o ireland_n than_o to_o have_v all_o person_n therein_o of_o rebellious_a principle_n and_o active_a spirit_n either_o banish_v or_o otherwise_o confine_v to_o one_o or_o some_o few_o place_n that_o they_o may_v know_v where_o to_o provide_v against_o they_o and_o keep_v a_o watch_n over_o they_o which_o will_v not_o only_o tend_v much_o to_o be_v transplant_v be_v the_o fit_a and_o that_o their_o transplantation_n do_v answer_v many_o public_a end_n and_o be_v essential_a to_o the_o present_a and_o future_a good_a settlement_n of_o ireland_n and_o the_o security_n of_o the_o interest_n of_o england_n therein_o the_o last_o and_o great_a objection_n the_o discussor_n make_v against_o this_o work_n be_v the_o impossibility_n of_o it_o which_o be_v a_o considerable_a objection_n if_o the_o gentleman_n have_v produce_v any_o reason_n to_o prove_v it_o for_o impossibility_n by_o wise_a man_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v undertake_v but_o make_v search_n for_o they_o i_o can_v find_v nothing_o offer_v to_o prove_v that_o more_o than_o what_o may_v be_v suppose_v to_o be_v employ_v in_o pag._n 25._o wherein_o he_o seem_v to_o imply_v those_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o the_o irish_a may_v have_v a_o dramm_n of_o rebellious_a blood_n leave_v in_o they_o and_o will_v not_o go_v and_o second_o the_o power_n and_o strength_n of_o england_n in_o ireland_n be_v but_o a_o scarecrow_n and_o a_o hat_n upon_o a_o white_a stick_n only_o fit_a to_o drive_v goose_n etc._n etc._n and_o therefore_o not_o able_a to_o make_v they_o go_v if_o the_o first_o of_o these_o prove_v true_a it_o may_v imply_v a_o difficulty_n but_o not_o a_o impossibility_n for_o when_o there_o be_v many_o dramm_v of_o rebellious_a blood_n in_o the_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o present_a person_n in_o power_n in_o ireland_n towards_o the_o native_n there_o i_o hope_v the_o sense_n of_o so_o sad_a a_o judgement_n as_o a_o new_a rebellion_n must_v necessary_o bring_v upon_o that_o poor_a people_n if_o god_n shall_v give_v they_o up_o to_o such_o a_o spirit_n of_o stupidity_n as_o to_o work_v their_o own_o destruction_n thereby_o will_v much_o more_o affect_v they_o than_o any_o sense_n of_o their_o own_o danger_n or_o the_o danger_n of_o the_o interest_n they_o serve_v by_o any_o thing_n they_o can_v do_v against_o it_o more_o than_o obstruct_v a_o present_a settlement_n and_o as_o i_o do_v believe_v the_o jesuit_n and_o priest_n in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o late_a rebellion_n do_v profess_v as_o much_o affection_n and_o compassion_n towards_o the_o people_n of_o ireland_n when_o they_o instigate_v and_o stir_v they_o up_o thereto_o as_o the_o discussor_n do_v or_o can_v do_v in_o his_o new_a incitement_n and_o
