especial_o man_n of_o spiritual_a goodness_n viz._n man_n of_o godly_a conversation_n as_o for_o their_o maintenance_n both_o in_o city_n and_o country_n it_o be_v cheerful_o pay_v not_o as_o a_o act_n of_o force_n but_o as_o their_o right_n by_o law_n as_o other_o thing_n be_v the_o right_n of_o other_o man_n by_o the_o same_o law_n and_o it_o be_v but_o a_o few_o dissenter_n that_o must_v be_v except_v in_o this_o matter_n compare_v with_o the_o whole_a body_n of_o dissenter_n throughout_o the_o kingdom_n and_o they_o be_v deem_v by_o their_o friend_n to_o be_v more_o scrupulous_a than_o they_o need_v or_o aught_o to_o be_v and_o beside_o it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o those_o parish_n minister_n who_o be_v oblige_v to_o their_o parishioner_n do_v not_o only_o receive_v their_o due_a by_o law_n from_o the_o dissenter_n but_o do_v also_o partake_v of_o their_o love_n four_o as_o concern_v the_o school_n of_o learning_n in_o both_o university_n it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o learning_n be_v high_o encourage_v and_o sobriety_n be_v well_o maintain_v in_o those_o time_n wherein_o such_o as_o be_v now_o dissenter_n be_v concern_v both_o as_o head_n and_o scholar_n in_o those_o noble_a school_n and_o the_o dissenter_n do_v now_o rejoice_v in_o the_o maintain_n of_o learning_n in_o both_o university_n and_o in_o other_o good_a school_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o yet_o dissenter_n have_v good_a cause_n to_o believe_v that_o though_o humane_a learning_n be_v a_o very_a good_a thing_n and_o although_o man_n may_v arrive_v to_o high_a degree_n in_o it_o yet_o they_o may_v be_v very_o ignorant_a of_o divine_a mystery_n which_o be_v indeed_o the_o teach_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n it_o be_v not_o for_o want_v of_o humane_a learning_n that_o nicodemus_n a_o ruler_n and_o master_n in_o israel_n do_v not_o understand_v the_o new_a and_o spiritual_a birth_n when_o he_o say_v how_o can_v a_o man_n be_v bear_v when_o he_o be_v old_a can_v he_o enter_v the_o second_o time_n into_o his_o mother_n womb_n and_o be_v bear_v again_o john_n 3.4_o neither_o be_v it_o for_o want_n of_o humane_a learning_n that_o the_o greek_n do_v count_v the_o preach_a of_o salvation_n by_o a_o crucify_a christ_n foolishness_n 1_o cor._n 1.23_o nor_o be_v it_o not_o for_o want_v of_o humane_a learning_n that_o the_o jesuit_n and_o other_o great_a scholar_n bring_v up_o in_o the_o popish_a school_n do_v not_o turn_v protestant_n and_o it_o be_v base_o do_v of_o the_o pamphleteer_n to_o reflect_v upon_o mr._n samuel_n how_o who_o have_v be_v in_o his_o grave_n a_o great_a number_n of_o year_n who_o though_o he_o be_v but_o a_o mean_a man_n in_o the_o world_n he_o deserve_v great_a honour_n as_o a_o man_n of_o good_a natural_a part_n and_o a_o able_a preacher_n of_o god_n word_n a_o gracious_a soul_n and_o a_o man_n of_o holy_a life_n and_o conversation_n 5thly_a concern_v the_o law_n for_o maintenance_n of_o the_o poor_a in_o the_o several_a parish_n of_o england_n of_o which_o the_o pamphleteer_n say_v the_o dissenter_n will_v fall_v have_v they_o down_o also_o this_o seem_v as_o if_o he_o will_v stir_v up_o a_o spirit_n of_o rage_n in_o the_o poor_a against_o the_o dissenter_n to_o fall_v about_o their_o ear_n as_o be_v the_o worst_a of_o the_o poor_n enemy_n but_o bless_v be_v god_n it_o be_v well_o know_v throughout_o this_o kingdom_n that_o the_o dissenter_n do_v most_o cheerful_o pay_v the_o parish_n tax_n for_o the_o supply_n of_o the_o poor_a and_o rejoice_v that_o there_o be_v such_o a_o provision_n make_v for_o they_o beside_o be_v charitable_a to_o they_o other_o way_n thus_o have_v i_o brief_o reply_v unto_o this_o part_n of_o the_o man_n forgery_n in_o charge_v the_o poor_a dissenter_n in_o general_a with_o thing_n of_o canterbury_n and_z york_z have_v a_o tinker_n and_o a_o tailor_n man_n of_o great_a confidence_n and_o long_o stand_v two_o for_o the_o four_o great_a bishopric_n of_o london_n winchester_n eli_n and_o durham_n you_o shall_v have_v a_o water_n man_n a_o shoemaker_n a_o coffee-man_n and_o a_o hat-dresser_n and_o for_o the_o other_o bishop_n and_o the_o glergy_n about_o the_o city_n and_o suburb_n of_o london_n you_o shall_v have_v man_n of_o a_o inferior_a rank_n and_o then_o the_o poor_a desperate_a wretch_n contrive_v how_o this_o may_v be_v make_v know_v to_o france_n germany_n and_o the_o low_a country_n and_o all_o these_o thing_n he_o charge_v upon_o the_o dissenter_n page_n 13._o as_o their_o contrivance_n to_o make_v such_o a_o alteration_n in_o the_o government_n and_o now_o i_o will_v most_o humble_o and_o modest_o reply_v and_o therein_o solemn_o appeal_v to_o all_o the_o churchman_n of_o england_n of_o what_o degree_n soever_o who_o have_v any_o considerable_a know_a and_o profess_a principle_n to_o have_v such_o ecclesiastical_a dignity_n confer_v upon_o they_o and_o yet_o they_o be_v such_o friend_n to_o the_o present_a government_n as_o it_o be_v establish_v by_o law_n that_o they_o can_v free_o when_o ever_o his_o majesty_n shall_v have_v occasion_n venture_v their_o life_n to_o defend_v his_o
