those_o in_o england_n who_o suffer_v for_o the_o truth_n and_o cause_n of_o god_n if_o we_o be_v not_o very_o sensible_a of_o all_o their_o present_a trouble_n and_o calamity_n it_o be_v no_o small_a grief_n to_o we_o that_o the_o gospel_n and_o government_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v so_o despise_v in_o that_o land_n that_o faithful_a preacher_n be_v persecute_v and_o cry_v down_o that_o toleration_n be_v establish_v by_o pretext_n of_o law_n and_o maintain_v by_o military_a power_n and_o that_o the_o covenant_n be_v abolish_v and_o bury_v in_o oblivion_n all_o which_o proceed_n can_v but_o be_v look_v upon_o as_o direct_o contrary_a to_o the_o oath_n of_o god_n lie_v upon_o we_o and_o therefore_o can_v eschew_v his_o wrath_n when_o he_o shall_v come_v in_o judgement_n to_o be_v a_o swift_a witness_n against_o those_o that_o swear_v false_o by_o his_o name_n these_o thing_n be_v the_o more_o grievous_a to_o we_o because_o beside_o many_o other_o woeful_a evil_n bring_v
