for_o ecclesiastical_a matter_n it_o be_v the_o join_v together_o in_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n which_o make_v a_o church_n a_o true_a church_n as_o mr._n brinsley_n say_v in_o his_o arraignment_n of_o schism_n pag._n 31._o and_o it_o be_v the_o join_v together_o in_o they_o according_a to_o the_o law_n establish_v among_o we_o that_o make_v such_o a_o church_n to_o be_v the_o church_n of_o england_n i_o must_v profess_v sir_n to_o you_o that_o i_o can_v hardly_o forbear_v to_o expose_v that_o book_n of_o sacrilegious_a desertion_n that_o as_o much_o abound_v with_o ill-nature_n self-conceit_n confusion_n and_o self-contradiction_n as_o any_o that_o i_o have_v meet_v with_o of_o that_o kind_n but_o because_o the_o author_n have_v be_v in_o many_o thing_n of_o good_a use_n to_o the_o church_n of_o god_n i_o shall_v not_o treat_v he_o with_o that_o rigour_n such_o a_o book_n deserve_v and_o shall_v therefore_o proceed_v to_o show_v that_o this_o church_n be_v a_o true_a church_n he_o indeed_o pag._n 43._o of_o that_o book_n when_o it_o have_v be_v object_v against_o the_o present_a separation_n that_o their_o member_n be_v take_v out_o of_o true_a church_n reply_n how_o many_o bishop_n have_v write_v that_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n be_v a_o true_a church_n etc._n etc._n and_o must_v no_o church_n therefore_o be_v gather_v out_o of_o they_o her_n it_o shall_v be_v thereby_o disingenuous_o insinuate_v that_o the_o church_n of_o england_n be_v no_o otherwise_o a_o true_a church_n than_o that_o of_o rome_n and_o may_v as_o safe_o be_v separate_v from_o now_o how_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o true_a church_n mr._n brinsley_n will_v inform_v we_o pag._n 26._o of_o his_o arraignment_n of_o schism_n there_o be_v a_o twofold_a trueness_n natural_a the_o one_o moral_a the_o other_o in_o the_o former_a sense_n a_o cheater_n a_o thief_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o true_a man_n and_o a_o whore_n a_o true_a woman_n and_o till_o she_o be_v divorce_v a_o true_a wife_n yea_o and_o the_o devil_n himself_o though_o the_o father_n of_o lie_n yet_o a_o true_a spirit_n and_o in_o this_o sense_n we_o shall_v not_o need_v to_o grutch_v the_o church_n of_o rome_n the_o name_n of_o a_o true_a church_n if_o not_o so_o why_o do_v we_o call_v she_o a_o church_n a_o church_n she_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o outward_a profession_n of_o christianity_n but_o yet_o a_o false_a church_n true_a in_o existence_n but_o false_a in_o belief_n etc._n etc._n not_o so_o a_o true_a church_n but_o that_o she_o be_v also_o a_o false_a church_n a_o heretical_a apostatical_a antichristian_a synagogue_n but_o whether_o the_o author_n of_o sacrilegious_a desertion_n have_v the_o same_o thought_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n let_v pag._n 76._o show_n where_o he_o say_v as_o i_o constant_o join_v in_o my_o parish-church_n in_o liturgy_n and_o sacrament_n so_o i_o hope_v to_o do_v while_o i_o live_v if_o i_o live_v under_o as_o honest_a a_o minister_n at_o due_a time_n and_o he_o will_v by_o all_o mean_n have_v their_o assembly_n account_v only_o as_o chappel-meeting_n pag._n 15._o with_o respect_n to_o the_o public_a now_o god_n forbid_v that_o all_o this_o shall_v be_v and_o that_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n he_o shall_v think_v that_o the_o church_n of_o england_n be_v no_o more_o a_o true_a church_n than_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n and_o not_o more_o to_o be_v hold_v communion_n with_o but_o the_o contrary_n be_v evident_a from_o he_o and_o so_o his_o abovesaid_a insinuation_n the_o more_o blame-worthy_a but_o however_o let_v he_o think_v as_o he_o please_v it_o be_v very_o obvious_a that_o the_o constant_a opinion_n of_o the_o old_a nonconformist_n be_v that_o the_o church_n of_o england_n be_v a_o true_a church_n and_o what_o as_o such_o they_o think_v that_o they_o be_v oblige_v to_o hold_v communion_n with_o so_o mr._n baxter_n in_o his_o preface_n to_o the_o cure_n of_o church-division_n say_v of_o they_o the_o old_a nonconformist_n who_o write_v so_o much_o against_o separation_n be_v neither_o blind_a nor_o temporizer_n they_o see_v the_o danger_n on_o that_o side_n even_o brightman_n on_o the_o revelation_n that_o write_v against_o the_o prelacy_n and_o ceremony_n severe_o reprehend_v the_o separatist_n read_v but_o the_o write_n of_o mr._n j._n paget_n mr._n j._n ball_n mr._n hildersham_n mr._n bradshaw_n mr._n bains_n mr._n rathband_n and_o many_o such_o other_o against_o the_o separatist_n of_o those_o time_n and_o you_o may_v read_v that_o our_o light_n be_v not_o great_a but_o less_o than_o they_o etc._n etc._n so_o mr._n crofton_n in_o his_o reformation_n not_o separation_n though_o several_a of_o they_o he_o evident_o wrong_v that_o be_v far_o from_o any_o disaffection_n to_o the_o order_n and_o discipline_n of_o the_o church_n as_o ridley_n etc._n etc._n pag._n 43._o tindal_n hooper_n ridley_n latimer_n farrar_n whitaker_n cartwright_n bains_n sibbs_n preston_n rogers_n geree_n j._n ball_n langly_n hind_n nicols_n etc._n etc._n groan_v under_o retain_v corruption_n etc._n etc._n yet_o live_v to_o their_o last_o breath_n in_o constant_a communion_n with_o the_o church_n and_o this_o they_o do_v upon_o the_o supposition_n of_o this_o truth_n nay_o so_o far_o be_v they_o persuade_v of_o this_o that_o they_o do_v prefer_v it_o to_o most_o church_n in_o the_o world_n so_o the_o letter_n betwixt_o the_o minister_n of_o old_a and_o new-england_n publish_v by_o mr._n ash_n and_o mr._n rathband_n 1643._o if_o we_o deny_v communion_n with_o such_o a_o church_n as_o we_o there_o have_v be_v no_o church_n this_o thousand_o year_n with_o which_o a_o christian_a may_v lawful_o join_v when_o the_o war_n begin_v there_o be_v those_o indeed_o that_o talk_v otherwise_o and_o then_o they_o will_v persuade_v the_o people_n that_o there_o be_v no_o difference_n betwixt_o that_o and_o rome_n as_o mr._n marshal_n in_o his_o sermon_n upon_o the_o union_n of_o the_o two_o house_n jan._n 18._o 1647._o all_o christendom_n except_o malignant_n in_o england_n do_v now_o see_v that_o the_o question_n in_o england_n be_v whether_o christ_n or_o antichrist_n shall_v be_v lord_n and_o king_n then_o those_o that_o be_v suspend_v before_o the_o long-parliament_n time_n be_v the_o witness_n that_o be_v slay_v and_o the_o prelacy_n be_v a_o antichristian_a power_n and_o the_o take_v away_o of_o that_o and_o the_o ceremony_n be_v the_o ten_o part_n of_o the_o city_n fall_v as_o mr._n woodcock_n do_v expound_v it_o in_o his_o sermon_n of_o the_o two_o witness_n 1643._o pag._n 83_o &_o 86._o then_o they_o be_v the_o amorites_n and_o there_o be_v the_o cup_n of_o abomination_n among_o they_o as_o you_o may_v find_v it_o in_o a_o book_n call_v the_o principal_a act_n of_o the_o general_n assembly_n convene_v at_o edinburgh_n may_v 29._o 1644._o pag._n 19_o but_o when_o the_o tide_n begin_v to_o turn_v and_o presbytery_n be_v oppose_v and_o in_o great_a danger_n of_o be_v run_v down_o by_o independency_n they_o change_v their_o tune_n and_o begin_v to_o plead_v for_o the_o truth_n of_o it_o and_o their_o propriety_n in_o it_o thus_o we_o find_v ordination_n according_a to_o the_o church_n of_o england_n maintain_v by_o the_o london-minister_n in_o their_o vindication_n pag._n 143._o we_o do_v not_o deny_v but_o that_o the_o way_n of_o minister_n enter_v into_o the_o ministry_n by_o the_o bishop_n have_v many_o defect_n in_o it_o but_o we_o add_v that_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o accidental_a corruption_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o substantial_o and_o essential_o corrupt_v by_o dr._n seaman_n in_o his_o answer_n to_o the_o diatribe_n by_o mr._n brinsley_n of_o schism_n page_n 31._o by_o mr._n firmin_n in_o his_o separation_n examine_v page_n 23._o then_o we_o be_v tell_v that_o preach_v and_o prayer_n be_v keep_v pure_a in_o the_o episcopal_a day_n by_o mr._n firmin_n ibid._n pag._n 29._o and_o to_o show_v you_o how_o reverendly_a they_o speak_v of_o this_o church_n i_o will_v only_o quote_v it_o from_o one_o that_o must_v be_v think_v to_o speak_v out_o of_o no_o affection_n and_o that_o be_v j._n goodwin_n in_o his_o zion_n college_n visit_v pag._n 26._o doubtless_o the_o real_a and_o true_a minister_n of_o the_o province_n of_o london_n have_v such_o abundant_a opportunity_n of_o converse_n with_o traveller_n from_o all_o part_n can_v but_o be_v full_a of_o the_o truth_n of_o this_o information_n that_o there_o be_v more_o of_o the_o truth_n and_o power_n of_o religion_n in_o england_n under_o the_o late_a prelatical_a government_n than_o in_o all_o the_o reform_a church_n beside_o but_o you_o will_v say_v all_z this_o may_v be_v grant_v and_o yet_o nothing_o say_v for_o the_o case_n be_v alter_v the_o church_n of_o england_n not_o be_v now_o what_o it_o be_v then_o this_o i_o acknowledge_v the_o author_n of_o
the_o present_a separation_n self-condemned_n and_o prove_v to_o be_v schism_n as_o it_o be_v exemplify_v in_o a_o sermon_n preach_v upon_o that_o subject_a by_o mr._n w._n jenkyn_n and_o be_v further_o attest_v by_o divers_a other_o of_o his_o own_o persuasion_n all_o produce_v in_o answer_n to_o a_o letter_n from_o a_o friend_n manton_n on_o james_n pag._n 404._o true_a wisdom_n as_o it_o will_v not_o sin_v against_o faith_n by_o error_n so_o not_o against_o love_n by_o schism_n london_n print_v for_o edward_n croft_n at_o the_o seven_o star_n in_o little_a lombard_n street_n 1678._o sir_n upon_o the_o discourse_n that_o pass_v not_o long_o since_o betwixt_o you_o and_o i_o concern_v the_o present_a difference_n among_o we_o in_o this_o nation_n and_o the_o difficulty_n you_o then_o press_v i_o with_o about_o the_o nature_n and_o reason_n of_o schism_n and_o the_o side_n which_o the_o sin_n of_o it_o will_v lie_v upon_o i_o begin_v to_o consider_v of_o it_o and_o forthwith_o resolve_v to_o see_v what_o i_o can_v meet_v with_o of_o that_o subject_a among_o that_o party_n you_o so_o bold_o charge_v with_o it_o especial_o before_o their_o exclusion_n when_o they_o may_v be_v suppose_v to_o speak_v impartial_o and_o among_o the_o rest_n have_v procure_v of_o a_o friend_n the_o note_n of_o a_o sermon_n long_o since_o preach_v by_o mr._n jenkin_n i_o diligent_o read_v it_o over_o and_o think_v it_o a_o discourse_n very_o well_o calculate_v to_o bring_v this_o matter_n to_o a_o issue_n betwixt_o we_o for_o which_o end_n have_v compare_v it_o with_o and_o correct_v it_o by_o what_o he_o afterward_o print_v upon_o that_o text_n i_o do_v resolve_v to_o send_v it_o to_o you_o this_o i_o confess_v i_o the_o rather_o pitch_v upon_o as_o he_o be_v yet_o alive_a and_o be_v able_a to_o justify_v it_o and_o because_o you_o also_o urge_v i_o with_o some_o objection_n offer_v in_o particular_a against_o he_o and_o his_o proceed_n in_o the_o case_n and_o do_v affirm_v that_o he_o with_o the_o rest_n of_o his_o brethren_n dare_v not_o now_o own_o what_o they_o have_v former_o preach_v or_o preach_v what_o they_o former_o do_v about_o separation_n lest_o they_o shall_v revive_v what_o they_o hope_v be_v by_o this_o time_n forget_v and_o disquiet_v the_o ash_n of_o the_o old_a nonconformist_n who_o follower_n they_o profess_v to_o be_v but_o herein_o as_o you_o say_v wide_o differ_v from_o i_o must_v confess_v myself_o not_o to_o have_v be_v a_o little_a disturb_v at_o those_o passage_n that_o you_o produce_v out_o of_o some_o of_o they_o and_o can_v not_o but_o transcribe_v that_o from_o mr._n calamy_n in_o his_o apology_n against_o a_o unjust_a invective_n pag._n 10._o viz._n what_o will_v mr._n burton_n say_v to_o old_a mr._n dod_n mr._n hildersham_n mr._n ball_n mr._n rathband_n &_o c_o do_v not_o these_o reverend_a minister_n see_v the_o pattern_n of_o god_n house_n and_o yet_o it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o they_o write_v many_o book_n against_o those_o that_o refuse_v communion_n with_o our_o church_n he_o mean_v the_o episcopal_a and_o be_v their_o great_a enemy_n and_o i_o can_v forget_v another_o you_o show_v i_o out_o of_o the_o vindication_n of_o the_o presbyterial_a government_n pag._n 135._o publish_v by_o the_o provincial_a assembly_n of_o london_n 1650._o of_o who_o you_o tell_v i_o mr._n jenkin_n be_v one_o viz._n there_o be_v many_o godly_a and_o learned_a nonconformist_n of_o this_o last_o age_n that_o be_v persuade_v in_o their_o conscience_n that_o they_o can_v not_o hold_v communion_n with_o the_o church_n of_o england_n in_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n kneel_v without_o sin_n yet_o do_v they_o not_o separate_v from_o she_o indeed_o in_o that_o particular_a act_n they_o withdraw_v but_o yet_o so_o as_o that_o they_o hold_v communion_n with_o she_o in_o the_o rest_n be_v far_o from_o a_o negative_a much_o more_o from_o a_o positive_a separation_n nay_o some_o of_o they_o even_o when_o our_o church_n be_v full_a of_o sinful_a mixture_n with_o great_a zeal_n and_o learning_n defend_v they_o so_o far_o as_o to_o write_v against_o those_o that_o do_v separate_v from_o they_o i_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o i_o be_o not_o able_a to_o reconcile_v all_o thing_n of_o this_o nature_n and_o that_o it_o be_v very_o hard_a to_o show_v where_o the_o difference_n lie_v betwixt_o now_o and_o then_o and_o to_o find_v out_o what_o the_o people_n have_v to_o scare_v they_o from_o communion_n with_o the_o church_n of_o england_n now_o that_o they_o have_v not_o in_o those_o time_n and_o why_o what_o mr._n cartwright_n mr._n dod_n etc._n etc._n write_v then_o in_o defence_n of_o it_o will_v not_o still_o so_o far_o hold_v good_a but_o i_o hope_v you_o easy_o conceive_v that_o the_o case_n be_v not_o the_o same_o with_o the_o minister_n as_o the_o people_n for_o the_o people_n it_o be_v confess_v and_o you_o give_v i_o a_o undeniable_a proof_n of_o the_o general_a belief_n of_o the_o present_a nonconformist_n in_o this_o matter_n viz._n that_o when_o by_o the_o late_a act_n of_o parliament_n every_o one_o that_o be_v in_o any_o office_n of_o trust_n be_v require_v to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n according_a to_o the_o usage_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n they_o that_o among_o they_o be_v concern_v be_v general_o advise_v to_o it_o by_o their_o own_o pastor_n and_o few_o if_o any_o be_v find_v to_o refuse_v it_o which_o doubtless_o they_o will_v have_v do_v if_o either_o they_o or_o their_o pastor_n have_v think_v that_o they_o have_v sin_v in_o so_o do_v and_o their_o own_o interest_n or_o the_o capacity_n they_o may_v be_v in_o of_o do_v better_a service_n in_o their_o place_n than_o out_o of_o they_o will_v not_o have_v make_v it_o lawful_a if_o it_o have_v not_o be_v think_v lawful_a in_o itself_o and_o therefore_o i_o do_v very_o ready_o grant_v this_o but_o withal_o i_o hope_v you_o do_v perceive_v that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n betwixt_o the_o people_n and_o their_o minister_n betwixt_o the_o people_n communicate_v with_o and_o the_o minister_n officiate_a in_o the_o church_n for_o the_o minister_n be_v in_o order_n to_o this_o require_v to_o renounce_v the_o covenant_n and_o to_o assent_v and_o consent_n to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o liturgy_n and_o therefore_o though_o the_o people_n may_v now_o communicate_v upon_o the_o same_o term_n that_o the_o people_n do_v before_o the_o war_n when_o separation_n from_o the_o church_n of_o england_n be_v prove_v to_o be_v schism_n by_o the_o great_a nonconformist_n of_o those_o time_n as_o be_v abovesaid_a and_o the_o minister_n may_v now_o communicate_v upon_o the_o same_o term_n as_o the_o people_n yet_o they_o can_v do_v it_o as_o minister_n and_o what_o reason_n be_v there_o that_o they_o shall_v degrade_v themselves_o who_o be_v as_o mr._n jenkin_n say_v on_o judas_n pag._n 21._o church-officer_n betrust_v with_o the_o order_n of_o the_o church_n and_o for_o open_v the_o door_n of_o the_o church_n communion_n by_o the_o key_n of_o doctrine_n and_o discipline_n and_o be_v no_o more_o than_o private_a christian_n that_o have_v no_o power_n in_o these_o matter_n as_o he_o there_o observe_v be_v this_o nothing_o to_o be_v from_o ruler_n of_o the_o flock_n turn_v down_o among_o the_o common_a herd_n and_o from_o be_v keeper_n of_o the_o key_n to_o be_v bring_v under_o the_o power_n of_o they_o but_o suppose_v that_o they_o can_v thus_o far_o condescend_v yet_o do_v you_o make_v nothing_o of_o the_o apostle_n necessity_n and_o woe_n be_v i_o or_o think_v you_o it_o fit_a after_o so_o sacred_a a_o character_n as_o that_o of_o ordination_n that_o they_o can_v clear_v themselves_o if_o they_o neglect_v it_o consider_v what_o be_v write_v in_o a_o book_n call_v sacrilegious_a desertion_n of_o the_o holy_a ministry_n rebuke_v pag._n 30._o viz._n be_v a_o vow_n and_o dedication_n to_o preach_v the_o that_o suppose_v they_o be_v under_o the_o like_a necessity_n which_o you_o say_v they_o be_v not_o yet_o that_o as_o st._n paul_n necessity_n do_v not_o so_o neither_o do_v they_o confine_v they_o to_o any_o particular_a place_n time_n or_o number_n that_o preach_v be_v not_o more_o so_o when_o it_o be_v to_o many_o than_o to_o few_o in_o public_a than_o in_o private_a in_o london_n than_o the_o country_n and_o that_o as_o the_o law_n do_v permit_v they_o to_o preach_v to_o five_o beside_o their_o own_o family_n so_o it_o do_v not_o forbid_v they_o private_a conference_n elsewhere_o a_o the_o law_n of_o visible_a communion_n with_o this_o or_o that_o particular_a church_n be_v but_o positive_a and_o therefore_o subordinate_a to_o law_n more_o natural_a and_o necessary_a such_o be_v that_o wherein_o we_o be_v command_v to_o take_v care_n of_o our_o soul_n and_o salvation_n so_o that_o if_o christian_n do_v shift_v particular_a church_n for_o the_o obtain_n of_o very_o apparent_a of_o salvation_n that_o we_o enjoy_v be_v sufficient_a to_o it_o and_o what_o we_o deliberate_v about_o be_v only_o the_o degree_n and_o measure_n what_o be_v better_o and_o fit_a we_o can_v quit_v understanding_n and_o that_o the_o part_n of_o casuistical_a divinity_n be_v not_o near_o so_o cumbersome_a as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o day_n of_o some_o man_n be_v they_o idle_a and_o ignorant_a from_o whence_o then_o be_v it_o that_o their_o adversary_n of_o all_o sort_n be_v so_o well_o oppose_v not_o to_o say_v confute_v that_o they_o be_v make_v to_o quit_v their_o ground_n and_o to_o betake_v themselves_o to_o new_a principle_n in_o their_o own_o defence_n to_o fall_v from_o the_o infallibility_n of_o the_o person_n to_o that_o of_o tradition_n as_o they_o do_v abroad_o from_o old_a nonconformity_n to_o brownism_n and_o from_o presbyterianism_n to_o independency_n as_o some_o do_v at_o home_n in_o what_o age_n and_o church_n have_v the_o great_a truth_n and_o principle_n of_o our_o religion_n be_v more_o effectual_o consider_v more_o diligent_o search_v into_o more_o clear_o state_v and_o explain_v or_o more_o successful_o defend_v than_o in_o we_o and_o which_o i_o may_v challenge_v the_o whole_a party_n of_o the_o separation_n to_o show_v any_o thing_n equal_a to_o from_o whence_o come_v all_o this_o to_o pass_v if_o our_o church_n do_v so_o abound_v with_o uncatechise_v upstart_n poor_a shrub_n and_o empty_a and_o unaccomplished_a predicant_o as_o mr._n jenkin_n with_o a_o holy_a indignation_n do_v in_o his_o exodus_fw-la p._n 55._o complain_v sure_o if_o these_o man_n have_v but_o due_o weigh_v thing_n and_o have_v be_v conversant_a in_o the_o write_n of_o our_o church_n or_o look_v among_o themselves_o they_o will_v not_o have_v dare_v thus_o to_o reproach_n the_o most_o learned_a and_o industrious_a ministry_n that_o perhaps_o england_n ever_o yet_o have_v let_v i_o recommend_v to_o such_o what_o mr._n baxter_n say_v in_o the_o like_a case_n in_o his_o explication_n of_o passage_n in_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o worcestershire_n association_n print_v 1653._o pag._n 110._o i_o desire_v those_o brethren_n that_o object_v this_o but_o to_o search_v their_o heart_n and_o way_n and_o remember_v what_o may_v be_v say_v against_o themselves_o and_o cast_v the_o beam_n first_o out_o of_o their_o own_o eye_n at_o least_o to_o censure_v as_o humble_a man_n that_o be_v sensible_a of_o their_o own_o miscarriage_n and_o imperfection_n and_o if_o they_o do_v according_a to_o this_o advice_n i_o be_o persuade_v that_o they_o will_v think_v there_o be_v as_o good_a and_o useful_a man_n in_o the_o world_n as_o themselves_o do_v we_o not_o find_v some_o of_o themselves_o force_v to_o acknowledge_v as_o much_o consult_v sacrilegious_a desertion_n pag._n 86._o i_o real_o fear_v lest_o mere_a nonconformity_n have_v bring_v some_o into_o reputation_n as_o conscientious_a who_o by_o weak_a preach_a will_v lose_v the_o reputation_n of_o be_v judicious_a more_o than_o their_o silence_n lose_v it_o and_o a_o little_a after_o speak_v of_o their_o own_o minister_n he_o say_v very_o the_o injudiciousness_n of_o too_o many_o among_o you_o be_v for_o a_o lamentation_n and_o pag._n 88_o he_o add_v through_o god_n mercy_n some_o conformist_n preach_v better_a than_o many_o of_o you_o can_v do_v true_o when_o i_o consider_v what_o a_o stock_n of_o worthy_a and_o accomplish_a person_n in_o that_o quality_n whether_o for_o sobriety_n and_o learning_n our_o church_n be_v at_o present_a furnish_v with_o though_o it_o must_v be_v confess_v there_o be_v that_o be_v defective_a in_o both_o as_o when_o be_v they_o not_o i_o look_v upon_o man_n of_o this_o quarrelsome_a temper_n to_o be_v such_o as_o be_v many_o from_o they_o as_o they_o can_v and_o that_o therefore_o deserve_v the_o character_n he_o there_o give_v that_o they_o be_v but_o destroyer_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n such_o that_o to_o strengthen_v themselves_o and_o carry_v on_o their_o own_o interest_n care_v not_o what_o they_o do_v or_o say_v but_o how_o worthy_o let_v the_o author_n of_o the_o antidote_n to_o mr._n baxter_n cure_n judge_v who_o say_v pag._n 20._o that_o to_o reproach_n a_o whole_a party_n for_o the_o miscarriage_n of_o some_o few_o without_o take_v notice_n how_o many_o fault_n be_v in_o those_o who_o prostitute_v their_o conscience_n to_o defend_v a_o argnment_n i_o will_v leave_v such_o to_o consider_v what_o mr._n watson_n say_v in_o his_o sermon_n of_o god_n anatomy_n upon_o the_o heart_n pag._n 167._o which_o be_v so_o severe_a that_o i_o care_v not_o to_o transcribe_v but_o to_o proceed_v as_o little_a reason_n be_v there_o to_o separate_v from_o a_o church_n for_o remissness_n of_o already_o show_v for_o the_o due_a administration_n of_o discipline_n and_o if_o it_o be_v object_v that_o it_o fail_v in_o the_o exercise_n and_o application_n of_o it_o i_o will_v answer_v with_o
